Terrorism and the Gazan War
Although there is no universal definition of terrorism, it has emerged as one of the world's most serious concerns. Last month, HAMAS surprised Israel with a devastating strike, and war broke out on October 7. Some countries consider HAMAS the Palestinian militant group that seeks to reclaim control of Palestinian territory to be a terrorist organization, but others disagree.
Professor Jeffrey Kaplan, a Danube Institute visiting fellow and visiting lecturer at Óbudai University, was our guest on the recent Geopod series and provided his thoughts on the problem of terrorism and the current Gaza War.
