We live in a world overflowing with information, but wisdom is harder to find than ever. Knowledge is understanding facts, while wisdom is the God-given ability to discern what is true and right and then live accordingly. Proverbs 3 reveals three powerful truths: wisdom is worth pursuing above everything else, wisdom brings order to chaos, and wisdom provides deep confidence to face whatever comes. Solomon, the wisest person who ever lived, did not ask God for wealth or power. He asked for a discerning heart. True wisdom is not found in technology or clever thinking. It is found in a person, Jesus Christ, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. God gives wisdom generously to those who ask, and no day should pass without asking Him for it.
