Gender identity is one of the most debated topics in our culture today, but the Bible speaks clearly on the subject. According to Genesis 1:27, God created humanity male and female, and gender is not something we choose but something He gives. The rapid rise of transgender identification in recent years is not accidental, and there is a real spiritual enemy who targets the young and vulnerable. Gender dysphoria involves genuine pain and deserves genuine compassion, but confusion and distress do not come from God. Feelings are not a reliable foundation for identity because they change, while truth does not. The good news is that the gospel offers real hope to anyone struggling with gender identity. Jesus Christ can cleanse, restore, and give a new identity to anyone who surrenders their life to Him.
