Eric Mangini: Former NFL Head Coach & Broadcaster Talks Success, Getting Fired and Super Bowl LV
Show Notes

Former NFL Head Coach and friend of the pod, Eric Mangini joins the show this week and shares his coaching insight on Super Bowl LV and what it is going to take to stop the Chiefs offense and why Tom Brady is destined to win his 10th Super Bowl.

Coach Mangini also talks about why getting fired sucks, understanding the responsibility that comes with having success and why not dealing with success properly can kill you.

We also ask Coach about his desire to come back to the NFL coaching space and what he thinks are the most desirable coaching opportunities going into the 2021 NFL season. We also have some fun talking to Coach Mangini about his acting appearances (The Soprano’s, HBO’s Ballers and Sesame Street) and whether or not he’s ready for his next role.

Coach Mangini is a former head coach, having served as the coach of the New York Jets from 2006 until 2008 and the Cleveland Browns in 2009 and 2010. Prior to taking his position with the 49ers, Mangini was an NFL analyst for ESPN and current analyst for Fox Sports and contributor to the FS1 morning show, First Things First w/ Nick Wright and Jenna Wolfe
