SPEAKER_02

Good morning, Nick. That's very good news about uh Liz winning her case against the Cat Lady.

SPEAKER_00

Yes. Yes.

SPEAKER_02

That was that was great to hear that. And I may have some news uh next week to report. Uh I may have uh I may be, well, not winning, but at least getting a settlement from the New York State tax people going all the way back to the 2020 tax situation. So I'll I'll share that. I'll share that with the listeners if it uh if it comes to if it comes to past, as they say.

SPEAKER_00

Well, good luck on that, yeah. Keep us updated.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, it look it looks it looks really good. They they have offered me a settlement, so we'll we'll see. Uh okay, I know you as a musician. You certainly w know David Allan Coe.

SPEAKER_00

Yes.

SPEAKER_02

And uh he he he just you recently passed away. Yes. And I just like to share this with you and the uh listeners. Uh years ago, 1988, uh I was hired by a production company called Salt and Pepper Television to direct uh some episodes of a thing called Live at Church Street Station, which was um country music artist that performed uh in uh Orlando uh at a place down there called the Cheyenne Saloon in Orlando, Florida. And one of the shows that uh I was directing, the uh host was Rex Allen, uh Rex Allen Sr., the uh the Arizona Cowboy. I don't know about your age, but when I was a kid, I went to the movies to see Rex Allen along with you know all all of the other Gene Autry, Roy Rogers, those cowboys. But Rex Allen, he was a host with uh Denise Price, and one of the shows that I directed I had Johnny Paycheck.

SPEAKER_00

I remember I remember that guy.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, and Johnny Paycheck, one of his biggest hits was a David Allen Coe song called Take This Job and Shove It.

SPEAKER_00

That's right. He wrote that song, you're right.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, David Allen Coe wrote that. So I just thought uh that might your listeners might might enjoy that. And of course, David Allen Coe, uh, he was kind of a rebel anyway, but he wrote uh he he he wrote uh he wrote a lot of really good songs. But uh that one, uh yeah, I directed that particular episode. In fact, I directed a few of them, but uh Johnny Payczyk was there. So anyway, uh God bless David Allen Coe and um God rest him.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, my okay. My wife actually had a chance to see him a couple of times uh back in Wisconsin before we moved here. So this would be 15, 16 years ago, and said he was a great performer, and his son uh uh uh also performed with him, and uh he ended up being a really nice guy as well. She spoke with him after the show, so always put on a good show.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, he was uh he he he was he was a character. Oh yeah, oh yeah. Yeah, okay. All right. Well, I gotta kinda get on myself here because uh what do they say? People that live in glass houses should not show throw rocks.

SPEAKER_01

Yes.

SPEAKER_02

Uh a couple of weeks ago, uh you might remember, Nick, we were talking about uh how many uh dead Democrats were voting in you know around the country.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Well, I did I did a little research, and in my home state here in North Carolina, uh I discovered that in the last election thirty-five thousand dead Democrats voted. Thirty-five thousand dead Democrats voted. Okay.

SPEAKER_00

So but how do we know they were actually Democrats?

SPEAKER_02

I mean before they passed. Well, as well, we we don't know, but the but they but they voted in the Democratic it was a democratic vote.

SPEAKER_01

Right.

SPEAKER_02

So, you know. Uh even though thirty-five thousand of them were dead. Uh okay. Uh e everybody has to uh you just have to love the democratic communist protests. I'm sure you've seen that that was going on last week against the billionaires. Oh yeah. Funded by billionaires. Yeah. I I I mean that's that that's that to me is is so ridiculous. It's no different than the SPLC when they wavered behind the Charlottesville riots. We've all discovered now that all of the white supremacist groups were funding the white supremacist groups and the neo-Nazis and the Klansmen and the fascists and everybody else. They were funding that. They were funding all of those things. It's just uh it's it's uh to me, it's just unbelievable. Also want to ask your opinion. Uh I heard the other night, uh Hakeem Jeffries says that uh he he thinks the Democrats are losing. And uh I you know my question to you is uh do we really think they're they're losing? We know Bernie has just hijacked the party.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Uh yeah, Bernie Sanders is hijacking the Democratic Party, but do do we think they really are losing? I mean, I hope I hope they're losing.

SPEAKER_00

Well, we we have to remember something, and Jordan, you're more familiar with this than than even me, just because you have a couple more times on this earth, spins on this earth than than I do. But you know, you know that they don't they don't just say, okay, they got it this time. They will never give up. And they're like a caged animal or an animal who's been cornered and they're hurt and they're injured. And you know what happens? They get desperate. And I think we're ready to see some pretty crazy things coming up in the next few months. I really believe that.

SPEAKER_02

Oh, I do too. And and they're already happening. I know you heard Pritzer the the other night with his news conference.

SPEAKER_00

Yes.

SPEAKER_02

I mean, Pritzer and Newsom uh are blaming the Republicans for the attacks on the president. Of course. I mean, I I I've never heard anything so ridiculous in in in my life. Well, yes, I I shouldn't say that because I have, because right on the heels of that with Pritzker and Newsom, those guys, this Muslim judge, I'm not even gonna mention his name, uh for the for the guy that recently the recent attack on the president, this guy that ran through there, I I don't know if you heard about this Muslim judge apologized to him and said that he he was, you know, he was sorry that he would been put in uh in in confinement and that they wanted he wanted them to take him out of confinement and and give him in a nice cell and all that stuff, and then you find out that that this guy is going back to like 2022, this Muslim judge, he's been letting criminals out and off all the time. How how do these people get on the bench, Nick? How how do these people are are they uh judges are are they voted in or are are are they just put in by the people or is are are judges elected? I I I don't really know.

SPEAKER_00

Liz and I have had this conversation many times. We've even spoken with uh our own uh 15th circuit court solicitor, Jimmy Richardson. Uh a lot of times, believe it or not, it is an arm of the sorrow you know funded nonsense that goes on. They do find these judges who are nothing, I mean they they shouldn't even be considered to be a judge to begin with. They are so politically active and radical that and in each state it's different. In each state, yes, there are times where they get elected. And there are times where, like in our state where they're appointed by you know the the House and the Senate or some committee. You know, it's it's different in each state. But Soros and his couple have figured it out and they find these crazy people and through their contacts many times because they funded these clowns and their uh campaigns, you know, and their campaigns to prove these. Okay, now that I got to elected, I need to denominate this guy for a judge, I need to do this. I mean, this is a angled web, and that's how they get in. And then what did they do? You're right. They let these criminals, the c the term career criminal shouldn't even exist. After a couple of times, you're done. I'm sorry.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, you should be. You're right.

SPEAKER_00

And they let they let him out because why? Because it creates chaos, which is what they want. They just want chaos.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, and this must first of all, uh, somebody told me the other day, I don't think it's true or not, but they said that they believe this guy is the of course this is in Washington, Washington, DC, that he is the only Muslim judge that's on the bench anywhere. I don't know if that's true or not, but that's what that's what this report said.

SPEAKER_00

I don't know if it's true. It could be, I'm not sure.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, but I mean to me for him to be uh it just blew me away when I saw that. He's for him to be apologizing to a guy that not only was rushing in to kill he said he wanted to kill as many people as he could kill.

SPEAKER_00

That's right.

SPEAKER_02

So so he was he was rushing in not only to try and kill President Trump, but there were a lot of Democrats in that room also, uh, and and other Republican, you know, lawmakers. Uh it just it just blows me away that a judge on a bench would say to him that he's sorry, he's in uh, you know, confinement and he's gonna he's gonna get a nicer cell and he's gonna have this other stuff. Uh it just absolutely blew me away.

SPEAKER_00

Well, uh Jordan Rhodes, not to bore you with the details, but I just looked it up just because I was curious and I had a feeling. Uh judges in the District of Columbia, Superior Court and Court of Appeals, are appointed by the President of the United States. I thought so, but I wanted to look to make sure. And they're confirmed by the Senate and they serve 15-year terms. Many of the issues we're experiencing now are holdovers from the Obama administration and new freshly appointed people from the Biden administration. I say the Biden administration specifically because he had no idea who he was appointing. No. These are its handlers that are handpicking these radicals and throwing robes on them.

SPEAKER_02

So this guy is probably an Obama appointee.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, or or Biden. Yeah, exactly.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, absolutely unbelievable. Yeah. Well, I was uh I I don't know. I I got this news from New York just the other day. It seems that Holcomb now is going against Mondami's tax the rich plan, uh, which he has up there in New York. But I think the main reason that's happening is because I'm sorry I don't have this guy's name, but there's a guy that has a six billion dollar company uh in New York and he is he's pulling the company out of New York. And Holcomb, of course, has been making this big, huge appeal, uh, asking for the millionaires uh and and billionaires to come back to New York. And I don't know about you, but uh of course uh I don't live there anymore. I'm never gonna live there again. But I don't I don't know how that's gonna work because I can't imagine anybody that's pulling their companies out of New York City or gonna go back to New York with this crazy guy, uh this communist there as the mayor.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, we hate rich people, but don't leave New York because we need you to fund our nonsense and boondogles.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, right. Yeah, that's right. That's really great. And uh we we don't want to give a lot of time to Jimmy Kimmel because I think he is the most disgusting vile viper of the Democratic Party that I have ever heard of in my life, and I of course don't watch him, I only see the clips, but uh he's getting some backlash, they call it, which is absolutely nothing. But did you hear him attack Rudy Giuliani, who is is is quite ill. Uh Rudy Giuliani is is quite ill in in my opinion. He's the best mayor that the New York City ever had.

SPEAKER_00

America's mayor.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, he he was a he was he was really a terrific mayor. And uh Jimmy Kimmel, the attacks that he was talking about him when he was sick, just uh I I don't know. It it it just it makes me sick that that this guy is still on air and uh I and and of course I I don't know. I guess they have to interview you before you go in there to see his show because they have to make sure that you're a card-carrying democratic liberal or you can't see Jimmy Kimmel's show because uh I can't imagine anybody else applauding for this guy with some of the stuff that he says. He attacked the first lady, yeah, which was horrible. Uh-huh. And then right now on the heels of that he does the same thing with Rudy Giuliano.

SPEAKER_00

Now, of course, I I I heard about the the the Snide comments about the first lady and the the glow of a you know widow or whatever that nonsense was.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, yeah, that thing instead of his yes.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, I missed the uh Rudy Giuliani thing, but like, you know, we aren't surprised to be honest with you. And his ratings, this is the only thing that I take a little silence in. The most exposure he gets, and I think he knows this is when he says something stupid and controversial like that he has been saying, because that gets more people uh aware of the things he says than the people who are initially watching the show to begin with, because his ratings are so far down in the toilet, it's almost doesn't even matter at this point.

SPEAKER_02

I I know it amazes me that these companies, uh of course, uh the I I'm not quite sure. I don't know if Disney owns ABC or something. Yes, they do. So Disney owns ABC.

SPEAKER_01

Yep.

SPEAKER_02

Well, they they don't they don't have any backbone because you know when they when they pulled him off the air that one time, uh, and everybody were talking about they weren't gonna watch Disney movies and ball us and well, not everybody, but all the liberals, and then of course they caved immediately and put him back. And they're not they're not gonna do anything about him. The best thing that the best thing that I think we Republicans have going for us right now in in this talk show format is that I believe this is the isn't May, I think that's the last month of Stephen Colbert. I think he's uh Is he officially done now?

SPEAKER_00

I can't remember. This month it may be, yeah.

SPEAKER_02

I I think it's this month. I think at this month it's Stephen Colbert. Uh he he will be gone. And that will be just uh, as far as I'm concerned, that will be great. And you know, go ahead.

SPEAKER_00

No, I was just gonna say, real uh, just a little side note to that. It's really funny that for a show that costs considerably way less money to produce, the gut filled show is continuously beating many of them in the ratings. It's not night after night, but overall ratings, he beats them and they spend way less on that show.

SPEAKER_02

Oh, yeah. And uh and and Disney's losing a fortune uh on Jimmy Kimmel's show, the same thing with uh Colbert's show. Yes. Colbert's show's losing a fortune, which is why they had to do that. And uh I I again, yeah, uh I'll tell you, last night, the biggest kick I got off TV last night was watching the Metropolitan Red Carpet uh stuff for that. That that's the I don't know if the the listeners know, but that's the richest event that we have all year is the Metropolitan Red Carpet.

SPEAKER_01

Yep, the Matt Gala. Yep.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, the the the Gala there. It's a yeah, not the celebrities, but other people have to pay a hundred thousand dollars to get an invite.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

And uh I I was looking at it last night because they were showing it there, and I literally uh I I couldn't help but just keep laughing. I mean, some of the outfits and the things that I saw and the money that these people waste to go do that was just uh I don't know.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, and just so and the whole time the general theme was, you know, screw the rich, but yet it is it it irony is lost on them. It costs a hundred thousand plus the clothes they wear, and it's like, are you people do you not have mirrors where you live?

SPEAKER_02

Right. It's just the same thing. It's like that that protest against the billionaires being funded by the billionaires. I mean, this stuff is it just it's I don't know. I don't know. Nick, if we could get rid of the dead people getting to votes for the Democrats, because I don't think we'll ever get rid of the stupid people that vote for the Democrats.

SPEAKER_01

No.

SPEAKER_02

But if we can get rid of if we can get rid of the dead people that vote for the Democrats, then then we we we might have a chance in keeping them out of office a little bit longer. Uh I certainly hope.

SPEAKER_00

And and we'll uh we have to go here in just a second, but I'll just throw this in there as well. You've got many states like Florida uh and a few others that are redistricting and putting the maps back the way they should be, instead of these really weird Rorschach test looking gerrymandered maps that favor only the Democrats. So if you if you set yeah, if you set things right, uh I often wonder how many times do Democrats even really win elections? I mean, come on.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, right. Yeah, because that look what they just threw out, you know, there in Virginia, you know, that they've they've they tried to do that there, and that they've the judges have thrown that out, so hopefully that won't take place.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

But uh yeah, it's just a mess. And and uh certainly the uh the the United Nations. I hope Trump uh I hope I hope he spanked them. Uh I personally like to see them get out of New York City, but they won't.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. I don't disagree. Jordan Rhodes, thank you so much for your time today.

SPEAKER_02

Listen, thank you, buddy. You're doing a great job flying solo, and we're so happy for Liz.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, absolutely. We'll talk to you next week. Have a good week. Be safe. Okay, thanks. You bet.
