SPEAKER_05

So Magadon, did you get up and vote early? Today's the last day for early voting.

SPEAKER_09

Nope, I'm gonna do it on the 11th.

SPEAKER_05

Wow.

SPEAKER_07

I'm waiting to see. You mean election day? You're actually gonna do it on the 11th.

SPEAKER_09

I'm an old-fashioned Republican.

SPEAKER_04

Wow.

SPEAKER_09

Well, you are a man on a mission.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, you are a man on a mission.

SPEAKER_09

No, and Patty's waiting to go with me.

SPEAKER_05

Okay. Well, um.

SPEAKER_09

So there's two more votes for somebody. Uh I'm I'm up I'm up for grabs. I'll take bribes. I'll take anything.

SPEAKER_05

Mark Lynch didn't grab you on the way out, did he?

SPEAKER_09

I didn't see him.

SPEAKER_05

Is he paying good? Well, I was just saying, since you're up for grabs. I don't believe that.

SPEAKER_07

I don't believe that for a second.

SPEAKER_05

I was thinking he'd grab Magadon by the tail.

SPEAKER_09

Hey, yeah, yeah, yeah. I enjoy coming in here, Glenn, when you're here because I know I'm not going to get picked on off damn morning.

SPEAKER_07

No, and and I So thank you. I've known you for quite a while, like seven years now. I know who you're voting for. My brain already is kind of geared towards what you do. All right.

SPEAKER_09

Now that's sad when people know me. Well, I mean, you are the first thing. I got it through life with nobody knowing me. Now I'm in trouble.

SPEAKER_07

When I first met you, you were giving away hats and I just couldn't understand it. But then 6,000. Yeah, but then now I completely understand, but it was it was different. I mean, you've been very generous.

SPEAKER_09

Well, 6,000 hats. That's a lot. That's a lot. Ask Patty.

SPEAKER_10

Ask Patty, poor Patty.

SPEAKER_07

Six times five is thirty.

SPEAKER_05

Don't tell your grandchildren that that's where their inheritance went. Listen, Ori County is in the lead with early voting. 2,563. That's 11.6% of the entire state. Greenville is right behind us with 10.1%. So we're very politically inclined at Ori. Uh polls close uh today for early voting, and then nothing on Saturday, Sunday, Monday, and then Tuesday is election day. Did you hear my interview with Mark Lynch?

SPEAKER_09

Yes, I heard as I was driving in.

SPEAKER_05

He seemed like a very good man. I mean, uh I think there's a lot of good candidates in this race. I think they're in it for the right reasons. Uh I think many of them are accomplished and they have a track record you can point to, whether it's their track record in business, in finance, or um in their voting record. Uh it's gonna be hard. I mean, Turning Point USA just endorsed uh Ralph Norman. Um, you know, people know that I'm uh in favor of Russell Fry being elected into the Senate seat. Uh I I you know he's got a conservative record, and um I also believe that um it's gonna be great to have a local person in that position.

SPEAKER_09

It'd be interesting to have somebody of that stature along the coast.

SPEAKER_04

Absolutely. I mean, and and it's so valuable to us.

SPEAKER_09

Right. I'd say so many times I think Myrtle Beach or the Grand Strand have been kind of sidestepped because of Greenville. I mean, you know, Columbia and stuff like that. Yeah. So I mean, there's a lot of reasons to vote for different people. Yeah. I I go back with with Russell kind of way back when he first ran. But it was interesting. I've been doing a lot of research on these people, and I haven't really gone out there too far out, but I have you know put a few things out about Russell. He's a friend and I know him better than anybody else, but I'm I'm just not you know going out there too much. But I looked up who he was and Eagle Scout. Do you know what an Eagle Scout is? Very difficult to get out.

SPEAKER_07

I know become president.

SPEAKER_09

Well, he was an Eagle Scout like a. Then he was in 2011, he was vice chair of the Young Republicans. In 2012 he was chair and then 2015, of course, he was in the Senate. But and and in his school, he was a class president. I mean, he's done so much, and I don't see that in a lot of other people. But I I researched them all, but that's a young age to really get into being doing that stuff.

SPEAKER_03

I didn't know those things, so that's pretty cool.

SPEAKER_09

And then and then he became uh m a majority whip in the house. Mm-hmm.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, I think that's a good thing.

SPEAKER_09

Now that's a big I mean that's the high highest thing you can get in leadership. Yeah. That's an appointed thing. But there's a lot of trust when you when you become that.

SPEAKER_07

And he doesn't just vote yes, no, he actually passes but puts bills together and gets them signed.

SPEAKER_09

And and he he he kind of cor corrals all the people to coalesce and to get back behind these people. And you gotta be somebody that you know that that's what I admire most in their politicians. Is and and I've I I admire it and I I can't stand it. So it's a double-edged sword for me. I've seen so many politicians that over the last ten years go somewhere and shake hands and nice to somebody that they know have stabbed them in the back. True. And I can't do that. So I would never I couldn't run for anything because if I know you've stabbed me in the back, I'm I'm I'll look at you, but you know, you're dead to me.

SPEAKER_07

Well, uh, you know, Mark was just here and he could have sold you that new refrigerator because he owns an appliance and electronics place. Uh-huh. You know, so he could have given you those new for that new home, he could have given you a great deal on some appliances.

SPEAKER_05

Oh, look at that.

SPEAKER_07

Hey, there's some more votes.

SPEAKER_05

Missed opportunity. I know. Okay. Um, well, we're gonna do a MAGA hat trivia giveaway. Uh MAGA hat, a MAGA garbage truck, uh pin.

SPEAKER_09

Yeah, I got them back in.

SPEAKER_05

Oh, I see that.

SPEAKER_09

Everybody wanted them, and I couldn't get them for a while. Now I got them back.

SPEAKER_05

All right. Um you have the MAGA pin and the MAGA coin.

SPEAKER_10

Yep.

SPEAKER_05

Right? Yeah.

SPEAKER_10

2025 coins.

SPEAKER_05

A Talk 945 T-shirt, and we're looking for the third correct answer on the budget blinds text line, 843-798-8255-798 TALK. And uh now listen to MAGADON's clear and concise question. Absolutely all the time. Although you can answer clearly and concisely and go.

SPEAKER_09

Okay, the Red Hat Trump trivia question today is who was Donald Trump's first secretary of state? Now last week was his first defense uh um yeah, uh Mike Flynn. Now it's the first Secretary of State. Who was Donald Trump's first secretary of state?

SPEAKER_05

Trump's first secretary of state in the first uh campaign. First uh administration. You can say you can cloud this if you want.

SPEAKER_09

I'm saying the first secretary. Now it could be the second or third or the second, whatever you want. But the I'm looking for the first time.

SPEAKER_05

The first ever, ever. Hey, listen, I want to play this clip, Glenn Dye Radio. Um, this is Trump talking about Iran um and uh what's going on with the speculations. You ready, Glenny?

unknown

Yeah.

SPEAKER_06

When I started the very important excursion into the Islamic Republic of Iran, it was a very important excursion because they can't have a nuclear weapon. Otherwise, the whole world would get blown up. We're not gonna let that happen. Not only us, not only the Middle East, the whole world would have been, it would have been catastrophic. We had no choice. Uh, we had oil down to less than two in many places like Iowa. Oil was down to gasoline, it was down at numbers that people hadn't seen in years. $1.85, $1.95. So it passed Tuesday. I was in Iowa uh at a stop, and we had $195, another one, $185 a gallon. And we'll see those days pretty soon again, based on everything I see, as soon as the war ends. And uh I think it's gonna end pretty soon. I don't think they can go much longer. Yeah, please.

SPEAKER_08

Has it deal been reached to reopen the Strait of Hundred Sand?

SPEAKER_06

Well, I don't want to say it has been. It's sort of open right now. You know, we have a thing called the blockade headed up by the U.S. Navy, and we control it. And uh now we control it, but they can always shoot something, they always have something, or drop a mine. And if you have one mine sitting out there, you sort of mess things up because people don't want to take their billion-dollar boats and accidentally get hit by a mine. But uh I think we're doing very well. I just, you know, I'm involved in the negotiation. I think we're doing fine. It could be soon, yeah.

SPEAKER_05

What do you think? Um you still have strong confidence in what we're doing there? Do you start to think, oh my gosh, why can't this just end already?

SPEAKER_09

It's it's interesting you say that because just yesterday I had five diff five different texts. Don, we know you love Donald Trump, you do whatever you know, and but you can't tell me that you still believe in him. It's a bomb him one day, now we're gonna have a peace the next day, now we're gonna bomb him the next. And I said, you know, the fun thing that I've learned the hard way with Trump is I second guessed him wire tapping and his building. I mean, there's a lot of things I I got caught up, whatever. But there's a lot of reasons that he stopped. And it's not just been him. I think there's a lot of influence from the Middle East, I think there's a lot of other countries that are saying stop. You know, because if he goes in there and and does what he could do, take all the bridges out, take the power plants out, how many people is that gonna kill? How many people will die if he I mean and some of these people are innocent. I mean, the the regime isn't, of course, they're just you know, they're some people feel none of them are innocent.

SPEAKER_03

Well, I know, and and and I could argue with that both ways. But Trump doesn't want to kill people that have nothing to do with the war after.

SPEAKER_07

He just doesn't like killing people.

SPEAKER_09

And and so, but I also think that you know Saudi Arabia, I think there's a lot UAE, I think a lot of the different countries over there have kind of put pressure on them. And so now with the blockade and and they've actually s stop stuff coming in by land now and also sea, and of course nothing by air. Um I think it's taken a toll we're finally and I think he's a master. Now have you ever heard of the game Go, Gio?

SPEAKER_03

No.

SPEAKER_09

Okay. There's checkers and then there's uh chest and then there's go. Go is an ancient Chinese game. The strategy is so much more than chest.

SPEAKER_04

Okay. And I've always chest or chess.

SPEAKER_09

Chess. C H E S. Now the mogul, where's the I love playing chess?

SPEAKER_04

I don't we don't play chess.

SPEAKER_09

Chess. Well, who don't? Never mind. I have. I have too, Glenn. Anyway, but today we're doing chess. It's a different game. Um much more uh uh participation. Anyway, I think he's playing the next generation of Go. I think he understands exactly what everybody's worried about the midterms. I think his strategy is point on. No, this is August. So what happens if gal if gasoline goes to two bucks in September, October? What is gonna happen in November? I mean, if he does it now, people are gonna forget.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_09

But if people we have a short, short memory. But if he if he brings that gallon of gas down and he does this and this a month before I think maybe a month is even too far too close, but I mean too far out. But if he brings the prices down, which I believe he's gonna, I really believe it'll get to maybe not a buck eighty or a buck ninety, but I think it'd be two, two and a quarter, maybe even better. What's what's the American people gonna do and think a month before the election if that happens? That's strategy to me. But I could be totally wrong.

SPEAKER_05

You think that could happen?

SPEAKER_09

I know it can. I know it's gonna.

SPEAKER_05

Oh, okay.

SPEAKER_07

See, Mondani should add a gas station to every grocery store he opens and sell gas at 36%. 7-11. No way, 7-Eleven will take him out.

SPEAKER_05

Let me play this about uh Trump talking about um, you know, these uh lack of weaponry and ammunition that we might have that got leaked out.

SPEAKER_06

We have uh certain types which are very powerful and very good, uh, and we have an unlimited supply, and uh so we're in great shape. But uh with that being said, uh we always want more. We have to have more. We have other things maybe come up, maybe come up and maybe don't come up. Hopefully nothing else does come up. But we're in very good shape. We have literally massive amounts of ammunition.

SPEAKER_05

Um yeah, because there is a faction of leakers that are trying to get out that uh we have depleted our weaponry.

SPEAKER_09

You believe that?

SPEAKER_05

No.

SPEAKER_09

Okay.

SPEAKER_05

Not for one second.

SPEAKER_09

You don't believe it because you know better.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah.

SPEAKER_09

But the the average voter out there doesn't have a clue.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, I mean, if that was all the weapons we had, that's pretty pathetic. Because how much bombing have we actually I mean, I know a lot of money goes into them.

SPEAKER_09

Yeah.

SPEAKER_05

Uh millions and millions.

SPEAKER_09

But you'd be surprised how many people believe that.

SPEAKER_05

But the thing is, there is a faction of people that um are pushing that to make Americans feel like our president is a bumbling idiot.

SPEAKER_09

Yep. They always have.

SPEAKER_05

But there on the other side, people made us feel like that about Biden.

SPEAKER_09

Well, okay, don't go there.

SPEAKER_05

But they didn't need much help, honestly.

SPEAKER_09

No, I was just saying they didn't need a lot of help. No.

SPEAKER_05

All right, we're gonna take a break. It's 9.21. And when we come back, we will announce the winner of Megadon's MAGAHAT Trivia giveaway. We'll be back in a moment.

Oh. Um, well, I'm gonna I'm waiting to see.

SPEAKER_05

Well, maybe Glendai Radio will make the big announcement.

SPEAKER_07

Yeah, I have not got a shirt size yet, but if you're listening still, Julie Harrington.

SPEAKER_05

Again? Did she win this month before? I don't know. Has Julie won before?

SPEAKER_09

No, is her her son with the uh Eagle Scouts? Yeah, yeah. Oh yeah. Yes. I'm sorry, you're disqualified.

SPEAKER_07

She won again.

SPEAKER_09

Oh no, no. They they play it forward.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, yeah. She's like a uh an ambassador of the show.

SPEAKER_07

Yeah, we just need to know what size shirt you want so I can write it on this piece of paper and then hand it off to Magadon. Yeah, I need that.

SPEAKER_05

Okay, very good. All right, Magadon. You got two minutes in this segment.

SPEAKER_09

Don't we want to tell you what the answer is?

SPEAKER_05

Oh, yeah, right. What the answer is?

SPEAKER_09

I mean, do I have to present this show? I know. I know we'd be out of business in a week. Or maybe sooner. So the question was, what was Donald Trump's who was Donald Trump's first Secretary of State? And the answer is Rex Tillerson. And he was the secretary. He was the Secretary of State from uh Mar from um February first, 17 until March 31st, 18. So he took about a year. And then Mike Mike Pompeo took over after.

SPEAKER_07

Okay, that I was wondering. I couldn't think of Mike's name. Right after that.

SPEAKER_09

Yeah. So that was great, Julie. Great. Uh we'll get together and meet uh somewhere and I'll get you your goodies.

SPEAKER_05

All right. So in this uh couple of minutes we have left here at the bottom of the hour, Magadon. Um what what do you think is going on with this Senate race? Did we actually talk much about Senator Lindsey Graham passing away?

SPEAKER_09

I don't think we did.

SPEAKER_05

I still can't believe he passed away. Um I mean, I just cannot believe he's not here anymore. It's crazy.

SPEAKER_09

Well, it's kind of like, you know, the only thing that bothered me and it it hit me firsthand here in this last election for governor. It got it got to me, and I learned a lot. I realized just how many crazy people or nasty people that are out there in our own party. Yeah. We just don't know how to get along. You know, I have said over and over and over and over again for ten years I've been doing this now you and I can disagree on who we're gonna vote for. That doesn't mean I dislike you or I hate you.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah.

SPEAKER_09

And if I can talk to you about who I think and you listen and you talk to me, I'm okay with that. We shake hands and move on. And you know, may the best person win, but I don't have to win over you. I don't have to prove anything because I support this person and you lost. Ha ha.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah.

SPEAKER_09

But that seems to be the Republican Party. And now I really want to.

SPEAKER_05

Luckily for sure, but in other counties it is the same way. It's all oh yeah.

SPEAKER_09

It's it's just not South Carolina.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah.

SPEAKER_09

I mean, in my home state of New Hampshire and Connecticut. Oh yeah. I there's a couple people that text yeah, a couple of friends of mine are attorneys, and they say how nasty it's getting up there.

SPEAKER_07

Wow. Well they're na that's in a nanny nanny boo-boo state, man.

SPEAKER_09

It's just I don't understand why. I understand the Republican Party is more independent. I understand that. I mean, to me, the Democrat Party is all lockstep. I'll buy yellow sneakers and wear them all, and you're all gonna say that we're gonna vote for until they always look organized and unionized. And I think that I think the Republican Party I I like the idea of the independence, but I don't like how far we take it. You know, I mean we the independent thinking person is what makes us better. But one thing that I've always felt and like we were just talking earlier, I think off the air about these people saying things and and and not not being held accountable until there's and I understand free speech. I I mean so I don't know how to fix it. But more free speech.

SPEAKER_08

I see that's what fixes it.

SPEAKER_09

Uh yeah. Well I see the the problem in people being able to lie.

SPEAKER_05

I think there should be truth in advertising in politics.

SPEAKER_09

That's where I was headed.

SPEAKER_05

If you're advertising on TV or on radio, there should be truth in advertising.

SPEAKER_07

Just like homework, just like the drug ads have to tell you a good idea.

SPEAKER_05

Every ad, every ad, if you're a student of of media, every ad that you see on TV has to be true. True. Yeah. You cannot make false claims about any sort of product, but for some reason you can make false claims about your opponent.

SPEAKER_03

Right.

SPEAKER_05

Now, if you made, if you're um uh, you know, selling widget A and you make false claims about widget B, there'd be a major lawsuit. But if you do that for a candidate, oh well that person's a political figure. You know, you can say whatever you want about a political figure, that annoys me, and I think that's wrong.

SPEAKER_09

How about on the house well? The house more when you get into the house and you get down to the wells upon it.

SPEAKER_05

Yes, you can say whatever you want.

SPEAKER_09

And you there's nothing that they can do about you. You can I can say anything I want about anybody. Doesn't matter. There's something wrong. Yeah. But again, I I love the independence of the thing. There must be a reason for that.

SPEAKER_05

I'd like to know what it is. It's bastardized. Like lots of other reasons things get bastard.

SPEAKER_07

So what do you think, Don, about the potential third party uh with Tucker Carlson, Marjorie Taylor Green. Let me just That plane ain't gonna fly, in my opinion.

SPEAKER_09

The thing that I've always felt about a third, like Ross Perot and the Reform Party, and you know, I was never I never got involved, as you know, with politics until Trump came down the escalator. That's the first time I got involved in a presidential election. But prior to that, I've I've listened to Ross Perot. I've listened to all these people, the Reform, the Tea Party. I don't understand it like a lot of people do, but I understood it enough I didn't need to understand it more.

SPEAKER_07

I that was my first person I ever voted for was Ross Perot. Yeah, I know. Only because I thought we needed a manager at that time and I didn't understand politics.

SPEAKER_09

No, well, you and I are the same. Yeah. But I don't I don't really feel there's any real future in a third party. That's just me. But the one thing I would like to see, and I you know, I'm if you're a friend of mine and you're a Republican, you're probably gonna stone my house or something, but the the thing that I I I really think there needs to be, we have a we are a two-party system, like it or not. There's the Democrats and now the socialists and communists and whatever, but across the board we have a two-party system. We have the Republicans and the Democrats. So now I can't get, as a Republican, I can't get everything I want if I don't work with the Democrats, and vice versa. So it's not easy. I couldn't do it, but I really wish we could be able to reach across the aisle where there's things that don't have a major significant upset to to our economy, where we have a two-party system. So naturally we have to somehow figure out how to work. So you're a Democrat, I'm a Republican, and you want this and I want this. Alright, how bad is what you want going to affect my grandkids? But I'm gonna have to worry about that. And I so I might not be able to give too much. But if it isn't gonna be anything and I know I got something that's strong, find some happy medium and and get things done. But there's a gridlock. The Democrats hate the Republicans and the Republicans hate the Democrats. Well I don't think anybody realized. Do you remember in 2016, Bernie Sanders, they were talking about being socialist, and it was hush, hush, hush. Nothing, nothing was ever said. They didn't want to bring up that word socialism. Yeah. Now it's out of communism and they're talking about it every day. Yeah. That's in what ten years. Yeah. I mean, there's a lot of people.

SPEAKER_05

I mean, I know the Communist Party of America was endorsing Bernie Sanders back then. Yeah. Um, and while his plight of his platform was similar, uh the problems are all the same.

SPEAKER_10

Right.

SPEAKER_05

We're all experiencing and complaining about the same things. But the solutions, it could make things worse or it can make things better. And so we are have to listen to these politicians with their solutions. So when I find I find this, when I interview candidates, the most frustrating thing to me, uh, in my position, is you're interviewing someone that's never held a job before and has some kind of textbook dis job description of what they do or fantasize about how powerful they're going to be. That's number one. Number two, they're very good at stating the obvious, stating the problems, and number three, they never have an actual solution. They never have an actual solution. And if you have an incumbent, their solutions, if they have any that they have like propped up, they have an excuse after excuse after excuse me more time about the other people. Right. About the other party that has blocked them at every turn and their own people. So to me, I literally despise doing campaign interviews because of that reason. But you're never going to get to the bottom of the city. I never get to the bottom of what I need to do with these candidates because they don't have substance.

SPEAKER_09

I've listened, and that's one thing I do is I listen to like some of the different news things. And like Sean Hannity's good, but he repeats himself and he cuts everybody off. I mean, it's a lot of you I give rope. I know you do.

SPEAKER_05

That's my I got a ton of rope in this studio. Yep.

SPEAKER_09

No, I I've I love to roll it out. I listen to you, and you have you are so prepared when you interview somebody, and every time I listen to you, and and I'm just telling you the truth. I just a lot of people, but you have you know all about what you're gonna ask, and you already know where the answers should be.

SPEAKER_07

Yeah, and your and your question doesn't take five minutes like Sean Hannity's. Yeah, I know, right. I mean, he loves to hear himself up and Laura Ingham, a little bit the same. Yeah, a little bit the same. She's gotten better. I'm just happy to see she was at the chip Fauci thing in the audience, you know? Yeah.

SPEAKER_05

Oh, that's cool. I didn't know she was.

SPEAKER_09

Yeah, she was right behind him, rolling her eyes. Oh, that's awesome. She got that seat on purpose. Oh, yeah, yeah. No, but I mean, I think honesty in in in media is where we've gone wrong. I if and if you're a socialist or a well, maybe if Democrat is a socialist, is a just basically someone who doesn't like America.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, I mean, well, I'm not gonna sum it up that way.

SPEAKER_09

Well, I mean that's pretty much all of them, I think. But all right. Exactly. So the the point I'm saying is until we can figure out something, and I'm really afraid. I'm not I'm not afraid of the midterms. I'm really not. I have that much faith in Trump. I mean, I've I've spent more money than probably anybody in South Carolina, or more hours, not more money, more time and energy supporting Donald Trump than anybody. I have six thousand hats twenty-four hour a day, yeah.

SPEAKER_07

Definitely in ore county, that's for sure.

SPEAKER_09

I I I put myself against the same. And but the point is, I really believe that Trump understand and I could be wrong, but I don't think so. I think he's playing go. I think he knows what he's doing, and the timing, that's why he started and stopped, started and stopped. I think now it's like okay. I think he I think the midterms are gonna be ours, even though it's against all records. I think we're gonna take everything again.

SPEAKER_05

I hope you're right.

SPEAKER_09

I really believe it because the timing, Trump doesn't do anything.

SPEAKER_05

And I think I think Iran is um I think Iran is is playing the long game as well. I know they are thinking that they cannot wait.

SPEAKER_09

And his brain says, go ahead and play games with him.

SPEAKER_05

And they're he's not motivated by death.

SPEAKER_09

No.

SPEAKER_05

So they just want death.

SPEAKER_10

Right.

SPEAKER_05

And that's all they see. And so, you know, that's their main object. Now, Trump, he's he's a little bit more of a positive guy. He doesn't like he doesn't like blood and guts. He doesn't like anyone being um hurt in any way, financially or otherwise. He wants to see everybody succeed. He doesn't want losers. He focuses on winning not only for himself, but for everyone. That's why his positive energy and message, and he doesn't understand when people are so negative towards him when he's like, I'm giving you the win. I'm bringing you along. You are included in the win. Even if you didn't vote for me, I still want you to win. The reason for that, Liz, is his delivery.

SPEAKER_09

Unbelievable. His delivery is what hurts him.

SPEAKER_05

Well, I think because he's he's faced with a combative press, and they're supposed to be combative, let's be honest. Um, but they're not supposed to lie on him. Now, he doesn't mind if you ask an intelligent question.

SPEAKER_10

Yeah.

SPEAKER_05

Um, but you know, when you ask a question that's so twisted and derogatory in its dripping in content, then he doesn't like that. But if you're asking an honest question, can you you explain to the American people blah blah blah, how did you come up with this solution?

SPEAKER_09

But not if you go back to open reference, you go back to anything you said, and then I always go back to the art of the deal, 1987. He's still he's still the author every day of that statement.

SPEAKER_05

He loves by it.

SPEAKER_09

And that's what's happening in Iran right now. I believe he understands exactly, and maybe he didn't want to back off a little bit, but maybe because I you know Saudi Arabia or something.

SPEAKER_05

I also think when the dust clears and these pauses, they see the motion of where all the cockroaches are going. You know what I'm saying? Yes, and then they start bombing them again, and then say let's see what they're doing now. Like I almost feel like that's a strategy.

SPEAKER_09

I believe so. I agree, I agree 100%. I've thought that right along.

SPEAKER_05

The whole thing is a strategy, and these people trying to they they're so fake in pointing out that it looks like Trump is starting to stopping because he's he's so desperate. And they're faking that. Because anybody with a thinking brain can say he's smoking them out. I mean, come on.

SPEAKER_09

I'm sorry, I believe that. I believe everything he's doing right now. I think we're gonna win the midterms, like I said. I think gas prices within the next month or within a month after he gets things, however, it's gonna end, it's gonna end quick. A week or two, and it's either gonna be bomb the hell out of him, yeah, or Hamoose's gonna be open and we're gonna be good.

SPEAKER_05

All right, we're gonna take one more break, Magadon. Think about what you're gonna say next.

SPEAKER_09

Do I have to?

SPEAKER_04

Do you ever think before you open your mouth? Never! I'm 80. That's the fun of it. 79 years old. Oh, you always said you were 80. I know. You gotta hold up a year, dude. Stop it. Stop rushing it. We'll be back in a moment.

I'm Ralph Norman running for the United States Senate as the proven conservative. In South Carolina, your word is your bond. Too many people campaign as conservatives, then change once they get to Washington. Not me. You've watched me fight. You've watched me vote. You've watched me keep my word. I'm not asking you to trust what I say. Judge me by what I have already done. When you choose your next senator, you shouldn't have to guess. You should already know. Every time Washington spends more, you pay more. To me, there's no greater fight than the one to protect your money. I've stood with President Trump to secure our border and to strengthen our economy. That's why conservatives trust me to take the fight to the United States Senate, where we need a proven conservative to end the filibuster and pass the Save America Act to secure our elections once and for all. I'm Ralph Norman and I ask for your vote. I approve this message, paid for by Ralph Norman for sending.

SPEAKER_07

Oh, because we're not we don't have pictures. Yeah, we but coming soon, I hear you're gonna have cameras.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_07

Live streaming a four-hour show.

SPEAKER_05

Nick and I are thinking about it. Yeah. Nick and I are really seriously thinking about putting this monstrosity on video because why? Where else do we have to go? That should end the show pretty quick.

SPEAKER_07

You should call it Nickelodeon on the look how innocent I was, Magadon.

SPEAKER_05

Oh wasn't I cute? Now, how old was that? About four or five? Yeah, now about four.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah. Oh, wow. I was so cute. You were definitely innocent. I found this. Was that that the end of it?

SPEAKER_09

It's all downhill from there. I want to tell you, go ahead.

SPEAKER_05

I just know I just was with my mom yesterday, and she never opens up her cabinet. I got her this, you know, this like little unit, wall unit thing, and I put all her photo albums in there that I brought from New York. And I always ask her to open it and let's go through the pictures, you know. And I haven't looked at these out. I just p box them up and brought them there, put them in there.

SPEAKER_09

Like I did 30 years ago with my stuff.

SPEAKER_05

So she's been in this place now for over a year. I finally said, you know, there's photos in there. You know, I always try and figure out something for us to do when I'm visiting. And um, we started she started literally going through them and reminiscing. That was the first time in the whole time that they were there. And I could not believe I hadn't seen these pictures in forever. And you know, when you see life and where your mom was, I mean, I have a picture of me and my mom. Look at my mother. She was 30 years old there. Oh, wow. And that had to be in the early 70s. She's like drop dead gorgeous. Yeah, like Priscilla Presley, right? Um, it's it's just um and then you you see someone now that's your mom, and you you you can't remember them when you were lit. It it just puts it all together. It's like and I I had this conversation with my friend. I'm like, what are we waiting for? Go out and get it, go have fun, go enjoy life.

SPEAKER_09

I you know you know, I'm going through it now with doing the book.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, boxes.

SPEAKER_09

Now my cousin my cousin had pictures of me and my mother and my father and the house real mother and father? No, no, no, my father. Okay, the adopted. Yes, okay. Yeah, she she didn't know when when I knew my cousin, I didn't she didn't know anything about I don't even know if she know knew I was adopted.

SPEAKER_03

Oh she might I I doubt it.

SPEAKER_09

I doubt it.

SPEAKER_03

Right back then anyway. Yeah.

SPEAKER_09

But of uh of par a couple of pictures of the house I lived in in Sutton in nineteen fifty something, mm-hmm and my father's car with me sitting up on the hood of it.

SPEAKER_10

Yeah.

SPEAKER_09

And so a bunch of these things that I had never seen. So I'm lucky enough to have saved them and and my cousin sent me a whole box of pictures that I didn't even have, ever had. And so yeah, when you when you go back through it, I'm doing it for the book. Yeah. It's it's it's so hard to remember all the things you did and all the pictures and stuff.

SPEAKER_05

Speaking of cars, look at my dad's car. Is that the coolest? He had like the what is it? Uh some sort of chevy. Yeah, with the red and red interior.

SPEAKER_09

White with red. That was always my favorite color.

SPEAKER_05

That was my mom and dad going on their honeymoon.

SPEAKER_07

You just sounded so New York when you said red interior.

SPEAKER_04

Red interior.

SPEAKER_09

I want to a quick little story about it. Sorry. I was at Kroger the other day.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah.

SPEAKER_09

And I hope I got his name right. I told him I was gonna call him out on it.

SPEAKER_05

Oh, did you see Tommy from Kroger? What are you looking at me like that for?

SPEAKER_09

Did I tell you his name?

SPEAKER_05

His name is Tommy, right?

SPEAKER_04

Yeah.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah. The guy who wants to remain anonymous at all costs.

SPEAKER_07

I already told you I'm going home. Welcome to the Liz Calabity here.

SPEAKER_04

The guy who's in the witness protection program at Kroger, named Tommy. I can't believe it.

SPEAKER_07

What department does he work in? It must be the deli.

SPEAKER_04

I totally forgot. I told you that. Well, anyway, you people haven't heard it yet.

SPEAKER_09

So I'm walking across the parking lot at Kroger, and this guy yells out, Hey, are you Megadon? I said, Yeah. And he said, I just want to let you know, I tune in no matter what. I always try to be somewhere. And most of the time I can't get on, but that listens during the week. But if he can be anywhere at nine o'clock, he's learned more about Donald Trump. On this show with you in your segment. But it's just a little funny thing. And I said, Have you ever tried to win? He said, No. I said, Well, text in. No, I don't do that.

SPEAKER_04

I thought it's not like I want to remain anonymous.

SPEAKER_09

And he it was. He said, I'm not going to call in. I'm not going to text in. And he says, I don't need to win a damn t-shirt. There you go. And I said, What about the trash truck? I said, but I got other stuff. And he said, What? I don't need that either. So I was like, it's I but it was just funny to hear somebody say, I think it's fun to do, and a lot of people really have fun doing it. All he wants to do is learn.

SPEAKER_05

I want to tell you that I packed up my Trump collection. I got a lot of cool things.

SPEAKER_09

Have you?

SPEAKER_05

Yeah.

SPEAKER_09

Oh, well.

SPEAKER_05

I'll sell it to you if you want it.

SPEAKER_09

Mine's bigger than yours. I haven't seen the coin that you're giving away. Do you have a coin? I've got uh 24, 25, and I got the new one. Now I'm I've got the 25s I'm giving out now.

SPEAKER_07

I'm just wondering if I can do a magic trick with it for Nicolina because she likes my magic. I'll bring one in. It's really warmed her up to me, the magic. She's like that. Really?

SPEAKER_05

He's really maybe I should try that. Yeah.

SPEAKER_09

You have to try anything.

SPEAKER_05

Actually, Nicolina uh decided, now that I'm the fairy godmother for her little sister, that I'm cool enough for her to come for a sleepover. Oh wow. So she came and slept over a couple of weekends ago, and we had a great time. We had a lot of fun. She's like actually a cool kid. Um I got to know her uh pretty nice pretty much better, you know. And of course, um, she's gonna be eight. Can you believe that? Yeah, she's gonna be eight in September, and she was born just before we started this show, before I met Nick. But now I'm the the um the adoptive fairy godmother for her, too. Because her godparents are far away. Yeah. Um, but anyway, so uh yeah, Nick is um, you know, having a good time, but just before so they're celebrating Nicolina's birthday, even though it's early because she won't be able to take care of it. I think they went to Busch Gardens.

SPEAKER_07

Yeah, Virginia.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, Virginia. So uh okay. And then, you know, they want to be back before school starts. So uh so Nick will be back on Tuesday. You won't hear him Monday. It'll be Glendai Radio and I. And Magadon, any parting thoughts? You got 20 seconds.

SPEAKER_09

I'm back on the ARB in Plantation Lakes. They asked me to come back on. I went to an inspection, and these people just moved in, they're young people, 50 years old, retired California Highway Patrol.

SPEAKER_07

Oh, awesome. Liberal?

SPEAKER_09

And so, well, so this is so I'm there and we're talking. They're having a couple issues with the with the inspector about the fence on the lake and everything.

SPEAKER_10

Yeah.

SPEAKER_09

And so I got to say and I well, thank you for your service and you know, your navy, and I said, yeah. So him and his wife both 20 years in California State Police.

SPEAKER_04

Okay, wrap it up.

SPEAKER_09

And I said, What are you doing here? We couldn't take it out there anymore.

SPEAKER_04

Okay, amen.

SPEAKER_09

First person I've ever I've heard a lot of people moving out. First person I've heard of
