Walt Bleser, PE, is Vice President of Strategic Consulting at RailPros and Principal of Unabridged Structures, LLC. He previously served as President and CEO of ARE Corporation and was President and Co-Founder of SENSR Monitoring Technologies. With over 20 years of experience in the North American rail industry, Walt has worked with every Class I railroad, major commuter railroads, and multiple transit agencies. His expertise spans structural design and inspection, structural health monitoring, and cloud-based bridge asset management systems. He was named a Progressive Railroading Rising Star Top 20 Under 40 in 2013 and received an honorable mention from Railway Age in 2019. An active AREMA member, Walt serves as Director of the Structures Functional Group, is a past Chair of Committee 7 (Timber Structures), and a subcommittee chair of Committee 10, contributing to Bridge Management Best Practices.
