And today we are talking about 10 conversion acts that you need and also one that you don't. Now, before I continue, I want to let you know about the gorgeous app you could automate 15% of your customer interaction. It's 30% more efficient than other help desks. Then you would be crazy not to be using gorgeous when you can increase your conversions so dramatically. My team uses gorgeous in our own business, and it's even better for Shopify stores. And there are features that are specifically designed to help you generate additional e commerce sales, and it's easy to integrate with all of the orders that you already have in your system. You can answer questions from your customers about their orders, delivery times, and you can order made a lot of this as well. Another amazing feature is seeing all of your instagram and Facebook comments right there on your dashboard and replying from your dashboard so yourself or your team can actually do everything in one place. And this saves so much time and effort, and it also allows you to instantly turn a person from making a comment into a customer. My team do it this way, and we absolutely love it. So I wanted to put this episode together because I do get a lot of people asking me about the best APS out there. Which access should be using which ones they shouldn't. And first of all, start off by saying that you don't wanna have two million APS on your store. Because as soon as you start at into minute APS, you're in a situation where things stop Thio not work against each other. You can have problems with absolute ing properly. They can take too much off the speed load from your website. Many things like that can happen, so we always recommend having as few abscess possible. However, there are some that you should have, and today I want to talk about conversion APS. So there's many types of APS out there, and these are not the only APS that you should be using. But they are the ones that I recommend when it comes to getting conversion. So turning a person from someone that is coming to your website to view it into someone who's actually purchasing from you, so let's get into it is a list of 10 as I said, and there's one that I want to talk about because I have been seeing a lot of people asking me about this in my Facebook word. But also, I see people talking about it in general, and I just wanted to explain why I don't recommend this particular app that people have been talking about. So the 1st 1 I want to mention is email email. The app that I recommend is only send. I have been recommending them for a while now. They have just gotten better and better. Over the years recently, Shopify has announced that they are doing their own app. However, I can say that at this very moment that particular email app while they are offering if a French October this year, it doesn't have a lot of features in it, so it might be free. But at the moment. They don't even have the ability to allow you to send automated e mails to schedule your e mails. So that particular up, I can't say how that will turn out later on down the truck, the shop if I email up. However, at this time I don't recommend that one and the one, like I said, that I recommend his only sent now why I'm decent. There are a few other ones. Male chip no longer works with Shopper Five. Just so everyone is aware you can still use it. However, you do need a special connector up to connect your male chimp account to your shop. If I store and there has been some problems with this particular AB, it doesn't take people off the list properly. Things like that can happen because the abs not talking to male chimp properly. So the other one that is out there that a lot of people talk about is Clavier and Clavijo is one that I do recommend only when you need it for particular other APS to work together. So only send is the one that I generally recommend the most for the main reason. It's excellent. It offers everything you could imagine that it needs to offer. It's got amazing pop ups. It has a spinning wheel available in there as well for an opt in and the fact that it is one of the cheapest options out there. So if you're starting out, you need to use something that's great. And while I recommend trying to save as much money as possible, there are certain things you have to spend money on. An E mail is one that I would definitely invested. And the reason for this is that you could make a lot of money from your email addresses that son on your Web site. So you should be thinking off your email app as a money maker for you. This is where you're gonna get a lot of conversions. So only send is the one that I'm recommending. It's easy to use. They create beautiful emails as well. So your emails looking really elegant, you're gonna have a really nice templates set up in our company. Just ask Papa. We actually set up the templates for our clients so we can set up the templates and you can have a couple of different template options where one might be for a newsletter. One might be for a special sale off up when would be for welcome email, things like that. And then you can just jump in and choose which template you want to use and use that for the email for that particular day. Or you can pre sexual emails in advance as well. So only send is fantastic, and you can see the sales that you're getting through there. It has a fantastic abandoned heart as well, so everything could be done through your only son when it comes to sending emails the next app that I have to mention because I raved about it all the time. And if you've been listening to these poor castle enough, you know that they're actually a sponsor of ours. And the reason why their sponsors, because I genuinely love them and that is gorgeous now Gorgeous is a fantastic customer service. Up before quarters came along, I would recommend things like many Chat Thio people because many chat was just a place where it could be a little pop up and people could ask you a question and you could reply. However, the reason why gorgeous is the number one customer service act that I am recommending these days is because the way it integrates into your business is unbelievable, and I get asked all the time. But should I be investing in this straight away? What? I've got no sales yet, and my answer is always yes, and there's a really good reason for that. Gorgeous came out with some statistics recently. They were on the podcast, just a couple of episodes back, so you can go back and listen to Felipe on that one. And they found that about 30% of people who message you on the customer service up on Gorgeous will become an actual customer. Now, that is amazing. To think that three people are gonna send your message. The message might be, What's your postage information? What is your return policy? Do you have this in red instead of black? One out of three of those people are going to become your customer. Now, when you understand that, it makes you realize that that small investment on front for an app like gorgeous will be a great benefit to your business right from the very beginning. Now the great thing is is that you could automate so much of your business That what it means that before you actually employ someone to help you in your business, you can have the gorgeous up doing a lot of that work the groundwork for you. So you don't have to employ someone, and it saves you money on employing someone while the APP is going to work. So it could be doing things such as? A lot of people might ask you the question. Oh, when can I expect my delivery? And the APP can actually automatically see that customers email address automatically know who the customer is and with the person puts in a question about where is my shipment, then the actual app can give them that information instantly. It also allows you to set up office hours so people know exactly what time you're open. I can send automated messages. It can reply to people you consider all of this up automatically yourself. So that app is just for me a standout up that even when you're setting out, you should be using something like that. And gorgeous is the one that I do recommend the next one that I recommend highly, and I don't hear a lot of people told you about this app, but I absolutely love this particular act. We do a lot with it in just as Parker. It has many, many, many features, and that is fairer. If e. R A. It's a fantastic up, it has some fantastic options in there that all come for a set price, and you can do things like have your testimonial pop ups come up in the bottom corner. You can have special for banners with timers on them. You can have your top by also showing up. So the little Barrett the top sing for shipping, which can then also convert Thio a Another Papa, where it says something like, It's an incentive. Hey, you've gone over your spend, which could also go to the next level. And if people have spent enough money, you can have a little pop up that comes up that says you've qualified for a free gift. There are so many options, it also has a Upsell cracked option as well. So if someone buys a pair of shoes, you can up sell them and say, Hey, there's a pair of socks that you could get to go with these shoes. For example, there's a buy one. Get one free pop up offer that complete showed on your website. You can also show free shipping information how much people need to spend to get that free shipping level. There's also the time is also urgency and scarcity, which for seven websites are very, very, very important. If you have a website where you only have a couple of an item, then that to you is a big selling point where you can turn around and say there's only two of these available or only one of these available. If you want it, get it now. Otherwise you're going to miss out. You can also have how many people have recently perched the Adam you can have remembering the sharpest size as well. There's just so many options in this particular app that it is such a great option when it comes to one app that does a lot of different things. So that's Vera. That's an app that I highly recommend, and we organize 2 to 3 to five different parts off that up there called skills in their system, so each one of those becomes a skill, and we set up anywhere from 2 to 5 for a particular website and every website we work with. We set up different skills for those websites because every business has got different features and different benefits that they want to highlight in the business. The next one that I highly, highly, highly recommend. Like I said, these a 10 conversion upstart highly, highly, highly Eric meant the next one is Google shopping the AP, and the reason why I recommend the so highly is think about what people do when they want something. If someone is looking for a new my phone cover, they have just broken the iPhone cover over there just broken their phone screen. That's how I bought my last iPhone cover, broke my screen, and I decided I wanted a closing cover. And what do you do when that happens? You go straight over to Google any type of an iPhone cover on, and if you're not issued properly from the beginning, then you will not come up on that first page of Google. You're probably not living in a cup on the 20th page, however, If you're very, very smart and very strategic, you can set yourself up for very specific words. And you can show up on the Google shopping parts and where it's got the products they usually show about temperatures that they recommend that our promotions to buy these particular products now you might not want to shop just for the word I phone, because I found my two generic. But you can have the iPhone model six old, for example, Pink iPhone cover or leather iPhone cover things like that. So by using the Google Shopping Network and actually setting up the up on your website and then also going into your Google shopping account, so that's part of AdWords. You've gotta have the merchant account as well on the AdWords account, and you can set up a Google shopping and have a very strict budget and certain parameters that you stick between. For example, you might say I'm only going to spend X amount per day on my Google shopping, or I'm only going to show up for thes situation so you can set up all sorts of parameters so you're not just spending tons and tons of money on ads, and I would recommend doing this before you door Facebook at. And the reason for that is while a Facebook ad, it's it's push marketing. Google shopping ads are poor marketing because a Facebook ad means that someone is looking at Facebook and you're putting your ad your product in front of them. But they didn't ask to see that particular product you have decided. I am going to show these to people who have an iPhone and all those people that had an iPhone. Most of them don't need an iPhone cover today, so for most of them, they're going to say this ad means nothing to me. However, if someone goes to Google and they type in iPhone cover, they are looking for an iPhone cover. And so that's called poor marketing. You're not pushing anything onto them. You're pulling them into your business. So your ad spend is going to convert better because of the fact that those people were looking for you in the first place. So how did it come in that then? Next one I recommend is ab Balog app now the one that I'm recommending at this very moment, I've looked over all of them is pro blogger. So I've got all the links for all of these in the actual show notes so you can get onto a Chinese APS in the absolute probe. Loga is the best one because currently it is the cheapest one. Some of them can cost you 30 $70 a month. Now if you have a great theme and this is where when people ask me about fiends, there's seven things I recommend, and everything that I'm recommending these days has always got an excellent blawg built into the theme I do not like most off the shop of five teams that are on the Shopify theme store because of the fact that those particular themes do not have great blogging capabilities. So if you have one of those things already and you don't have a great globe now, when I made a great bloke, you've got a title and then you've got the body off the text that has all the information, and you can put an image there. However, what you want is you need to be able to sell from that blob. You want to create love posts and get people from your blob over to buy a product from you. So a lot of these themes that are on Shopify in there, especially the free themes that are available they don't have this option to do this, so you might have to install this particular app. So if you do not have the ability to put a sales product in your block, then you need to get this app is well, and what you can do is is actually quite a different settings in there. But halfway down your bull post, you can put this into your blood post and you will shop products that are for sale around the topic that your bloke is about. So you might have top 10 jeans for summer 2020. And in there you can actually have images off the genes you're recommending on that links the actual product. You might have three or four different options in there on dhe allow people. You might just put one item in there, but it allows people to go straight through by from the actual book post highly recommend this. You can get a whole lot of sales this way, which means that you've got all the effort to get people to work side. And then those people can purchase from you because they're afraid the bloke, if they're routing the block, then they actually interested that you haven't lost him yet, and then they're more likely to buy from you anyway. So selling from a blogger is such a great way to get extra sales the next one I recommend. If you've been listening to my podcasts for a while watching any of my master classes, you would know how much I love video figure has been something that I have been recommending for many years now and the last two years. Especially. I tell people that crazy if they're not using video on their work side and if in not using video in their social media. So there is an app that I found in the shop. If I store, it's still only knew one, so it doesn't have a lot of reviews on its video. Five. Verify, and they do product videos, and it's actually super, super easy to use. All you need to do is go through their little terror plate builder on. Do you choose the style of the video we add your image. Is there a little bit of text and makes a cool little video with Music Hall for it? These videos are just quick, and that's all we recommend that you do so you might have sale offer starting tomorrow, or you might have a new products available. Or you might show five different images that show the product from all different angles, for example, and it very simply let you decide if this is going on social media if it's going on YouTube or if it's going on your website and the videos look absolutely fantastic. So in just as sparkle, we can create videos for clients. But that's one of the tasks that we do. We create really nice videos, and it's a really good way to get in front of people because people love video video actually convert way, way higher than actual images. And if we go and take a look at a lot of people's Instagram accounts, now they're using a lot of video. Video is absolutely amazing. I've got so many recommendations when it comes to video, but this app makes it super easy for you to jump in and do it yourself in any time. And the best part is this app is actually absolutely free. I don't know how long I'll stay free fall, but it's completely free to set up this video up in your shop if I store so you'd be crazy if you're not using it. The next one I'm recommending is selling on Instagram. So there is a couple of these apps out there with one that I have light for quite a long time. It's snapped s in a pay PPT. There are quite a few out there. They are really good one and I recommend them. When it comes to Saturn off, they are completely free to set up. And the great thing is is that you have your shop herbal instagram account. But the other thing is is that you make your actual web site. You can have a shop, a ble feed galleries on your store, which allows people to shop straight from your website without going to instagram. And they can see that sort of style that you're creating on instagram on your actual website highly recommended these. You could also do some other things in there like you can actually find influences through there as well and build communities. But you can create really great look books. You can create really great accounts on your website. That looks really, really cool. And people converge just straight from there as if they're actually an INSTAGRAM. Okay, the next one, I recommended his image a dishing. Now this is actually two different APS that I recommend. They have created these two different APs rather than one happen. So this is by holy holies. Being on a podcast has been on the summit. She's absolutely fantastic. And their APS have really bane really stand out when it comes to the what they can actually do for your store. Most people come to us and they say to me, Hey, are being running for about six months that I cannot get any sales. I don't know why, and at least 80% of the time, it has to do with how terrible it images. Aw, so the great thing about what thes two particular abs couldn't do, they do different things. So one of them is about re sizing. Your image is just simply, and other one is about making the images that you do have looked better, so go through what they both offer. Now the re sizing off the pixie app is actually you get 50 images for free every month, so you actually get 50 images for free when you install this app. And for some people, that's actually enough. You don't need to get anymore or for other people, they might decide that they need to edit other images later on down the track as well. What it does it resized as your images for two reasons. One. It's to speed up your website, so this is a really great way to speed up your Web site fast. The speed of your website makes a huge difference. Your conversions. You can up your conversion shaken W conversions just by having a faster website. So that's one thing that this apple do is actually speed up your website wth. E other thing, it does it make sure works that look better. One of the biggest things that I say to people that they have done with just using this up instantly can change. That is that people have got especially on their home page, also on their product pages where they have images that are all different sizes that might have a square image. Then they've got a rectangle long than they've got a wide image on. Then they've got a rectangle that's shorter than the other one on one that's bigger square. That's bigger or smaller. And all of these images being different sizes just makes your website look less professional. So just changing the image sizes can change how professional business looks instantly. It literally takes a couple of minutes, and your website can just instantly look so much more professional. So I highly recommend that particular up by pixie and then pixies Are that happen? Is called retail ready. Like I said, all of the little people over the show notes, so you can get access to all the things there and their reach. Already photos by Pixie is a photo editing service on dhe. They actually do this all by hand. Then what they do is that they will edit these images, have a team of people that do this all manually, but it works after so much cheaper than actually getting ass on to do it for you on five or something like this. So we we highly recommend it and you can just pay one off So you don't have Thio have this on a regular basis. You can just say, Hey, this month, I want to do it or you just buy the credits and use someone of you need to what this does again. It's about making a business professional, and what it will do is change the backgrounds for your images to actually make them all look uniform. One seeing that I really can't stand well. Two things that are really constant. I can't stand websites that have images, especially drop shipping images where they take the images from a like an alley Express Web side from the store. And then it might have some writing around to the product. So let's say it's a pair of leggings and then on the side. It will say something about that product of a 100% caution or something, but it's written in a really tacky way, and you can have someone just remove that background. So then it you can't see that that's one thing that is really good at doing. The other thing that's really good at doing is making sure that all of your pictures a uniformed so landing on someone's website when we do works at order it. One thing they always say is choose to want backgrounds on no backgrounds, but all of your images should be the same. So we recommend having no backgrounds. That is the best. It's a cleanest. It makes it the simplest option. It means that you don't have to think about backgrounds for all of your different images on which backgrounds better, it just takes that destruction away from the actual practice for sale. So your first image, all of your first images, should always have the same look and feel to them. So, especially when you got dropped shipping products and you have many different parts from different stores. And each image has been taken slightly differently because each company has it only taking photos, and suddenly it's really distracting array of images, and it gets really messy, and you don't really have any brandy and cross your store. So this way just removed all of backgrounds and then keep everything uniform that it's about the product, and then you can have other images on your 3rd 4th 5th image that have got backgrounds as well. That's fine, but try to keep especially the 1st 1 all the same. So then you've got that uniform across the whole of your Web site and your brand in general. Okay, The ninth app that I recommend is the thank you, Paige. Up now, these guys fantastic. We have spoken quite a few times that being on the summit, they are part of my one, Does'nt says, and course they provide training on how to use their happy in there. They've also done a panel discussion with us as well. And these guys know their stuff when it comes to confirm missions, and their app is just absolutely amazing. They it is 100% free, and that's really you know, I was try to give you guys as much great ideas for free, and you can completely uses up afraid under 50 sales pen month. So if you're starting out, this is such a fantastic way to get extra conversions and boost your sales just by installing with sap. And it's one of those places that most people completely forget about. What it let you do is redesign your whole thank you page Ruth will explain. She always talks about. She gives really good descriptions of her up. Of course, this is what she does, as she was afraid. Sit. And she explains that this is the page that thank you page on your sacrifice Talk is the most viewed page on your whole website because this is the page that everyone comes back to time and time again for the most viewed. More than once, page people are coming back to these page on average, I think, she said about three times. So they land on that page one say bye, and then they come back because it Shopify when they send the e mails out, saying your order is on its way or any updates about your order. Then they get sent the link to the thank you Paige in each of those e mails, which means that people will click that link and be said through your thank you Paige. So this page conduce so many things, and their app allows you to add so many widgets, so different options in there. It is fully customizable. It's completely simple to use so you can turn around and say Hey, people come to my website to buy Paris socks. I might wind up selling that page and say, Hey, why don't you buy three new pairs of socks? We got a packet like a special deal way. You get three different pairs all you might have a birthday collector or you might have just a re order, But in general, well, you might have social sharing. You could do other called actions. There's so many options off what you can actually do have different, like countdown timers off. Hey, you've just purchased. But if you want to repurchase, here's another voucher to buy something else. All sorts of things that you can do on this page. And like I said, you consider this. Thank you, Paige up completely for free on the first up to 50 patches is now. If you made 50 purchases a month and then you got to the $8 plan and trust me, if you're making 50 purchases a month, then spending $8 is definitely worth your while to continue to use this particular. It is really fantastic. It looks beautiful. It's easy to use. I highly recommend you use thes up. Most people are not getting to this level yet, and these are the little things. By adding these particular APS, it just increases the chances of getting even more cells. This is the difference between having an average store and an outstanding stole that really converts. Now. The last afternoon I want to recommend when it comes to conversions is a revue up a testimonial app. Now there's two that I recommend. You can't take both of these truth one or the other, but you definitely don't want both. I'm going to explain the difference and why I recommend boy. Now you need to have reviews. If you haven't listened to my podcast episode with Dan a couple of episodes ago, go back and listen to that. He has got an amazing story that's converting. Amazingly, I said a weapon with him and his wife very much of the beginning of their journey, and one of the things I recommended to them right at the beginning was reviews. And on that podcast I interviewed him and he went into detail about Have reviews made such a big difference to his conversions. So having reviews is really one of the things that if you're missing reviews that you're missing out on so many potential sales. This is leather conversions come from because this is about trust. This is about building trust with people. So the two abs I recommend one of them is looks and it's L o R. X. Like I said, the actual lives will way below in the shirt nuts, and this particular one is great. If you want to show photo reviews, it is the best one for photo refuse. You may not want to show photo reviews, and in that case in the other I'm gonna talk about will be better for you. But for the reviews are fantastic for so many businesses. And if you sell anything that people can take a photo off and show, then you definitely want to be using this particular app. I'm working with a company at the moment, and they do a wall hanging a framed picture that goes on the wall, and it's about the plat, how the planets have aligned on this particular date that you choose, and for them that's fantastic. So advises particular poster. They put it in a frame and they take photo in the living room where it's actually hanging over the bedroom wherever they hung it. And that lets people know. Hey, yet okay, if I had that picture, that's what it would look like in my house. And by having 10 2050 105 100,000 reviews like that, then people get a chance, look through and say, Oh, yeah, that's what it's gonna back in my house So genes, clothing fantastic for all of these things. So many times when I go to buy something, I think, Okay, there's the model. That's what she looks like in that outfit. But she is not my size. How can I know better if that is going to suit my body? I go to the reviews. I have a look at reviews to see what it's gonna look like on different body shapes, and I can start to get an idea. Is that going to be right for me? So for fashion, 100% recommended, but so many other products as well. So going check out looks and then the other one. If you don't want to use a photo review up, if foreigners are not as important than Judge me is a great one, now Judge Judgment does also offer photos as well, but it doesn't have the same sort of feel to it and the same way of working as look. So recommend looks when it comes to photos. But if you want an app that doesn't show for the reviews, then Judge Me is definitely the one that I had to recommend. It is a fantastic up. They have so many options when it comes to sending out automatic e mails afterwards after a purchase, even send three different e mails in their system and really build up reviews very, very quickly. So that's also a fantastic app. That is so judge dot May. So those are the 10 conversion absolute have recommend. The only one that I'd say you don't need is the probe lager. If you already have a great blogging on system in built into your theme, all the old ones are highly highly recommend. Go and check them out. They are absolutely fantastic, and we'll make a huge difference to your business. The one after I wouldn't talk about that. I don't recommend now. This isn't actually one particular act from one company. This is a type of up that I'm seeing pop up a lot these days and I'm constantly getting people to take it off their website. And this isn't app where they say and there's many different versions of it, but they will say We will get you traffic from other people stores to your store. I don't want to talk about any particular ones in particular. I don't want to mention of the brands any of the names of them, but there's quite a few. So if you see any of these maps and they say we will drive traffic from other people's work sites to your website, it sounds fantastic and really does sound fantastic. There's one in particular that I saw recently and it's about gifting and they will show a gift card for your business on another persons website and then send if anyone clicks on it, then you get that traffic. That was probably the one I like the best out of all of them because it's about a gift card. However, why I really don't recommend these APs. While it sounds really good to get traffic from other people's websites and on first thought even for me, I sit there thinking, Oh, here. That actually is fantastic. The downside is that you have to insult on your work side as well, and then your traffic goes to those other websites as well. So while you might be getting traffic from other people's websites, it means that you're losing traffic from your website. That is where the huge downfall comes for me. Now, if you've been running your business for a while and you got great amounts of traffic and you're losing people because they weren't really going to buy from you anyway, then that is fine. I have no problems of it. But if you're studying out when I can tell you out of all the people who come to us it just ask Parker. We see hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of store owners on a regular basis, and when they come to us and they've got this particular type of app on their website, I can tell you right now they're not getting enough traffic and conversions to want to lose the traffic that they're getting. If you've gone to the effort to get people to your website, the last thing you want is that person to go, let's say from a Facebook had or any sort of advertising. Well, you've done a big push on social media and you've gone to all the effort to get that person to your website. And then suddenly you've got this bar that says other products that we recommend for you and then buy them clicking on it. They're gonna go away from your website. This is a big no no. While you might be getting some traffic from other people's websites, you are going to be losing a lot of people away from your website as well. Now, if you want to set one of these up and try it out, it's not about proving me wrong. But what I recommend to you is doing a really, really good study on what is happening. I've been reading the reviews for a lot of these particular acts, and I see people writing things like, Wow, I get so much traffic from this app. Okay, that's fine. You might be getting a lot of traffic, but are you viewing the traffic that's leaving your website and no buying and going to some announces outside? Have you actually done those figures because that figure not be high than the traffic that's actually coming to work side. All the people that are coming to your work side, probably not that suitable. And are you getting the actual conversions? The way I see it, I rather had the control and think to myself, I am going to put the right content out there. I'm going to write the right things on. My social media will create the right ads and I'm going to get the right traffic to my website alone. I am going to make sure that the people that come to my website are actually the papal it'll most likely to buy for me rather than allowing other people's websites just send you traffic. That might be the wrong traffic to begin with. So just the fact that you're getting traffic from this app, they're gonna show you a number and show you all you're getting all this traffic but easy. Eat the rat Traffic is a good traffic. Oh, bad traffic out. They actually converted. That's where I had this really big problem with those particular apse. So if you're going to use one of those apse where it's about getting traffic from other people's stores. Make sure you check to see how good that traffic is. Are they converting? Are you making sure that you're not losing more traffic than you're actually gaining? So be very careful with those particular absently have tested them. So that was my list.
