SD Future Funds to support Penitentiary Education

PIERRE, S.D. – Governor Larry Rhoden and the South Dakota Governor’s Office of Economic Development (GOED) have awarded approximately [post_excerpt],518,000 in FY 26 Future Fund dollars to sup- port skilled trades education and job training at the South Dakota State Penitentiary. With oversight from the South Dakota Board of Technical Education, the funds will help Southeast Technical College offer on-site instruction at the penitentiary.
