PIERRE – Students from St. Francis Indian School recently, enjoyed a trip to Pierre Players Community Theatre to watch a play by a Sicangu Lakota playwright! The experience sparked meaningful conversations about culture and art while showcasing SFIS talent. Mary delivered a moving vocal solo of “Reflection,” and Ramon wowed the audience with “Jingle Bell Rock” on saxophone before the play. What an incredible way to celebrate creativity and heritage!
