This does not, however, automatically make you leader of people and yet so many roles that use science require real leadership. Fiona is patron of the Telethon Institute for Child Health Research in Western Australia, a Distinguished Research Professor at the University of Western Australia and an Honorary Professorial Fellow at the University of Melbourne.
