Independent retail in Hereford has suffered tremendously during the last 12 months and COVID has presented many challenges including stock management, going online to sell (where possible), managing cash flow, reminding and keeping a brand alive in the eyes of the customer ......not even to mention dealing with the emotional ups and downs of staying afloat when you do not know when you can reopen your doors again.

We spoke to homestyle gurus and retailer, Moira and Martha from Fox and Mabel, based in the Old Market in Hereford, who tell us about some of their experiences over the year, including hopes for the future, and how Hereford's retail scene might change.
