I gotta give a huge shout out this morning. Two Congratulations Corning JV Softball. They won the STAC conference championship and they were undefeated.
SPEAKER_00Oh wow, that's a huge feat. Oh, nice work.
SPEAKER_02Absolutely, absolutely. Oh, that's good. First time being both, by the way.
SPEAKER_00I uh I talked to uh what well, you know, uh Lydia's old teacher, and we believe to be seeing soon teacher again next year, you know, Mrs. Beam. Oh yeah. So her son plays baseball.
SPEAKER_02Uh-huh.
SPEAKER_00And holy god, I do you have to be I you know, I I I make the comments from time to time. I don't mind it, but it's like there's a lot of days I'm at a soccer field, right?
SPEAKER_02Yeah, oh yeah.
SPEAKER_00It's not that long when you think about it. I'm there for an hour of practice during the week, you know, on the days we have it, and the games are like only an hour, right?
SPEAKER_02Yeah, still you guys you guys are there like five days a week.
SPEAKER_00Her son uh plays baseball and Dan, her husband, I believe, coaches. Oh, those games are 17 hours long a pop, and they they sat back to back in two of them on Sunday. I'm like, how did you not burst into flames? Let me tell you, if you're a baseball or a softball parent, you are dedicated to having a flat butt because you're gonna be on a bleacher from about, I don't know, let's say 10 in the morning till about 7 30 at night.
SPEAKER_02And don't they travel like a little bit? Some do really I thought so. Some do. One of the things that we're planning this summer, because of course we gotta like we gotta have to plan out our a whole entire summer, is I've never been to, and I wonder if you have either, the Binghamton Rumble ponies.
SPEAKER_00No, never.
SPEAKER_02I'm super stoked about this. Zach was saying that they even have like picnic tables, not like in the outfield, but like on the outskirts. So he's like, you just like sit out there, chill, have some some brew skis, and watch the baseball game. Oh I mean, there you go. And apparently they're a feeder team to the Mets. I didn't know this. I'm learning so much.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, well, there you go.
SPEAKER_02But he's also a Mets fan, so I even have I know, I know. Believe me, there's lots of bitching and complaining in my house. Oh, that's a tough one. And it's not about my behavior either.
SPEAKER_00Oh, hey, we have to we have to stop things and celebrate something that we love that doesn't really fit the normal of the Scott and Alley show because we're big fans of the absurd. Yeah. I mean, let's just face it. We have a huge birthday today. I don't know that it would do the honor of singing the Scott and Alley birthday song to her, but I just want to let you know.
SPEAKER_02Cher? Oh, it's her. It's my birthday, baby. Take a guess, how old? Here back with five 78? Nope. Older? Yep. 80? Yes. Cher is 80. Still holding it, too. I knew she was up there because I, well, still have a little bit of her book left. But I just because I knew the beginning, because I just read it that not that long ago.
SPEAKER_01Cher is 80 years old. Oh my god. It oddly still looks good.
SPEAKER_02I know there's a lot of work involved, but what was the thing she was just at? She was just somewhere and she looked fantastic. Of course she did. I mean, it's all fake.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, exactly. It's been redone. But anyway, happy birthday, Cher.
SPEAKER_02It's my birthday today.
SPEAKER_01Ah, thank you.
SPEAKER_02Actually, I think I think I'm shaking a birthday song.
SPEAKER_01You want to sing your birthday song in Cher? Alright, here we go. A one, a two, a one, two, three. This is my birthday song.
SPEAKER_02It is a hello. So good. Oh my god. Oh no, you only see him in the sky. I didn't want to win.
