Not bad leading into Saturday, which is going to be a little bit more of a water route than we want. Uh, but uh today's 63. Tomorrow's 71. I think I'm gonna mow my lawn tomorrow. I joked with my neighbor. I go, we were walking to the bus stop, and I go, I think I have to mow my weeds. Yeah, I mean they were growing quite a bit.

SPEAKER_01

I mowed mine yesterday and uh Zach was so surprised because he just did it for me while I was gone in Vegas.

SPEAKER_02

Oh my god, we've had so much water. It's all it is is growing.

SPEAKER_01

And I said, But knowing what we're about to get, I don't want to have to, you know, when you're mowing and it gets clogged up with all of that heavy, heavy grass. Yeah that I didn't want to do that. So yeah, you're right. Looking, looking at tomorrow, 67. Oh, did I tell you what we're doing tomorrow? No. We are going to ports. This really sucks. I'm sorry that our text line isn't working because I bet you there's listeners who've been to this place and could tell me what their favorite dish is. What you can do. Where is ports? It's on Seneca Lake and it's up Geneva Way.

SPEAKER_02

Oh, okay.

SPEAKER_01

So it's a little bit of a distance.

SPEAKER_02

That's why I didn't not familiar. Okay.

SPEAKER_01

It's something that we both have always wanted to go to this restaurant, but I have never been, which is great because then it's it's like, oh it's new for both of you. This is the romantic in me. I was like, obviously, we never went with other people for a reason. So but what you can do is you can DM us on Instagram, on Facebook, on TikTok. I have everything open. Scott and Alley show, because we can't get your text messages right now, and we've contacted the people and the media And half of which are out of town. Two at two of the three. Yes, that is true. That is true. But somebody will fix this problem. And actually, the guy, the guy who, the third guy who's not out of town, he's always my he pulls through every time. He's the guy. He is the guy. Anyway, so we're going to Ports for dinner tomorrow, and I'm looking, I'm like, oh, not a bad, not a bad night.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, no. No, it'll be real nice too much.

SPEAKER_01

Although it is gonna get into the 80s. Um next week.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, well, of course, next week. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

All right, let me play you this audio. This woman was in co in court because she was actually uh doing an arraignment for drug charges, drug possession, and was also pregnant, and also was giving birth in court. Oh my. But here's where the problem lies is that during this process, they left her handcuffed. And by process, I mean like the process of the birth. Yes, exactly. So here is somebody who was speaking out about the whole situation of the woman giving birth in court.

SPEAKER_00

The officer took her pants off and removed the baby who was hanging in the leg of sweatcants. She completed delivery with her hands behind her back.

SPEAKER_02

Okay, well, number one, you're uh you you you should be given some sort of an award for that.

SPEAKER_01

For sure, for sure. But how embarrassing.

SPEAKER_02

You I Not even embarrassing. You try to make uh, you know, someone in labor as comfortable as you humanly can.

SPEAKER_01

Yes, yeah, yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_02

But also something tells me though, if it was, if she was, you know, in court. I I think about this for a second. You mean to tell me the day of your arraignment, she must I'm sorry, she may be more of a baby factory than we realize. Like this baby might have almost walked out and gone to college. For sure. I say that because you know normally, normally, 99% of the time you know you're in labor. You would say, Um, I don't think we can go to court, but I think we can go to aren't it? So where was that conversation? If she was already in handcuffs, that means she was in a holding cell somewhere. Either this was a failure all the way from whatever law enforcement agency was detaining her right up to the moment of the court, uh, because you you labor uh again, even people that have had you know more than a few kids, and I know it's I when I say it becomes easier, this is almost hypocritical because, like, look at me, do I look like I'm giving birth? I mean, no. But you've heard as more and more come, it goes quicker.

SPEAKER_01

Yes. Um my friend Kristen gave birth to her second child in 20 minutes.

SPEAKER_02

How is this conversation now? I mean, she had to have known she was in labor in some way. I know there's those people that are like, oh, I didn't feel the control. I mean, these are like, you know, the special gifted people that don't have it. It's very rare. Most people go through a labor style situation.

SPEAKER_01

I would think that as this started, what if time was limited, or you were even were, I guess, worried about where the heck is she gonna go while she's giving birth, right? Like, you can't be worried that she's gonna run away, right?

SPEAKER_02

Right.

SPEAKER_01

You know how they have the the judges.

SPEAKER_02

Well, I guess you could. I mean, there are some people that are that good.

SPEAKER_01

Of course. But for the decency of giving somebody some privacy while they're giving birth, can't isn't there judges' chambers right behind their bench? You would think. Walk in there, sorry that your cushy little couch has to be compromised, get a new one.

SPEAKER_02

Are you envisioning the night court uh uh yes? That's exactly that's in our mind every chamber.

SPEAKER_01

Every court USA, every every movie I've watched, every so can't you just like a little lounge? Can't you say, come in here? Yeah, lay on even if it you have to lay on the floor or whatever, or you have to squat, because actually I think squatting is probably the better position. So just come back here and give her some decency for that part.

SPEAKER_02

I mean, I don't know, also, I'm not trying to say what the court did was acceptable. I'm just saying I also don't know what this woman's reputation was. Obviously, they felt a certain way keeping her very detained. Uh so it kind of makes you go, is she a r you know a frequent flyer?

SPEAKER_01

Okay, but her hands were behind her back. Take her in the chamber. Again, this is Well, now she can say I gave birth with my hands tied behind my back.
