And now for the most Elmyra story. Actually, you know what? This has gotta be an epidemic. If you were to take a you know, a carve out a section of New York State, because this actually happened in Syracuse. So carve this out straight down. Okay, you but you know, put your hands down and go, okay, from the top of the state, straight down. We have an epidemic of either random vehicles that haven't run in years, sitting around. Yeah. Uh, you know, usually a 414. You 414? There's a random truck on Grove Street in Elmyra. It's a box truck, a big ass box truck.
SPEAKER_02Like those trucks I feel like are very sought. Wait, no, do you mean like box truck, like Amazon delivery box truck?
SPEAKER_01More older style. Like it, you know, it probably carried fish to main harvest back in, you know, the early 90s. I don't know. So it's just randomly sitting there. This is like kind of a weird epidemic we have, you know, where you're just like, oh, there's a random truck that's just or vehicle that hasn't run in years.
SPEAKER_02And things are very cyclical here. Like whenever there would be like, you know, 10 mattresses on 86. That happened all in one year.
SPEAKER_01Oh, God, that's right. Well, now this has happened after being missing for 14 years. A U-Haul trailer randomly ended up back at the store in central New York. Here you go.
SPEAKER_00So when I opened it up, I'm like, well, that's not normal. And then I was looking for the license plate, and the license plate's gone too, so I knew something was up. For 14 years, multiply that by $30 a day, it'd be about $153,000. And then you have to add on the tax, of course. So that rounded up to about $165,000.
SPEAKER_02So do they know who actually rented it out X many years ago?
SPEAKER_01I don't think they have any of the information from back then because you got to figure 14 years ago, I don't know what their records were like, but they said they're not even going after the person that had it.
SPEAKER_02Right. Well, and there's got to be cameras to show who brought it back.
SPEAKER_01This isn't like a I think that would be the case too, but they said they're not even gonna go after it. They're just happy to have it back. Okay.
SPEAKER_02This isn't like a library book where you know there's those random stories of the library books. Oh, they returned the library book 50 years later. Yeah. Well, think, yeah, of course. So here you go. Here's little women. I want it out of my house. Right. I'm trying to declutter. This was my garage for the past 14 years. If you live at 414, you're trying to declutter too.
SPEAKER_01No, actually, you're not.
