Uh I do want to address one very quick text before we jump into how uh yet again you're turning into Gail. And um I'm loving every minute of it because uh I saw this coming a while ago and you hated me for it, and now you're like, I guess I have to embrace this. Uh they said uh morning y'all. This one came from uh oh, this was uh well here, let me see if I can give your digits. You have a great username, but 0029 said, Morning y'all. Uh love the morning show and uh also the radio is static. Well, here's the good news. Since you texted us on the app, you can also listen on the app. We are aware that there is a static issue. There is a part that had to be ordered.
SPEAKER_00Now, because that part take it. Is that like an Amazon Is that like Amazon and I doubt that one to three days, or is that like a two-week situation?
SPEAKER_01Well, being the fact that we'd be a subprime member, uh, but anyway, here's the deal. Uh, because, and I'm glad you asked that. Thank you. Because I noticed I'm on the string of emails with, you know, this is where I I know you think I I don't do crap around here. Okay. Uh well, you threw me under the bus earlier in the show for really not doing uh, you know, enough or to your level, whatever.
SPEAKER_00Um I'm just saying nobody asks about you when you leave. I know, and I love that flex. But either way, um but but here's not saying you don't do anything. I'm just saying no one's looking for you.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, that's right. You know what that means? What they know it's done. Um it's just out of the way. They don't have to worry about it. All right, so you're always. Nobody worries about Scott, you know? Right, right, right. Um but you know, of course, you have a bit of a critical job where everybody's like, oh my God, I waited to the last minute. Please fix it, Allie. Make it right. And and what do you do? End up staying here all day and then pitching at me the next day, going, Oh, I'm gonna kill Jeff.
SPEAKER_00Am I wrong? Always do. Am I wrong? Jeff is unfortunately our punching bag sometimes. I love it. I don't know. Texting him at me at 10 o'clock at night might not be the so idea.
SPEAKER_01I got him back this morning, though. Oh, did you? Oh, this is great. I'm an idiot. But hold on. It's okay. Is other workplaces like this? Oh, God, you know they are. I mean, there's there's nobody that's really functional. There's just levels of looking better. Um, but so in this case, I thought to myself, all right, Self, since people are saying, you know, hey, listen, love it, you know, but they're static. Are you aware they're static and this and that? And and and I said to myself, they just wiped your eyes. I did because I'm a little excited and getting spinny. Um, so she's calling grandpa. So at any rate, I emailed, I emailed our operations manager and our two engineers. You want me to read you the email that I wrote? Sure. You tell me if this I love doing this with Allie. She always and the problem is I said it already, so if you tell me this is too much. So I said, uh, good morning, all. First, thank you for the uh work that has been done so far on the Wake 106 primary transmitter. I asked this question only because we is received we have received a number of texts uh on the static. Okay, so far am I all right?
SPEAKER_00You're fine.
SPEAKER_01All right. Um we try to explain to the audience that we had a tech issue and it's being dealt with and to please listen on the app. Ironically, that's where they text us from. I did write that. And I said, however, I would like to ask for a timeline of when the transmitter will be back at 100%, please.
SPEAKER_00This is good because we need to be transparent with our audience. Yeah, this is good.
SPEAKER_01Has the part been ordered yet? When will it arrive and be installed and tested?
SPEAKER_00Shouldn't have been ordered that day. Sorry to interrupt, but it shouldn't have been ordered the day that it broke.
SPEAKER_01This is why I'm the program director and sent the email because that would come across harsh. Thanks again. It will help to share with the audience. Was I okay?
SPEAKER_00Yeah. So what was the answer?
SPEAKER_01Well, I just sent it.
SPEAKER_00Oh, today.
SPEAKER_01You know how this place works, it'll be three days before I get a response.
