Some things are just weird if you still have this or do this as an adult. If I started dating Scott Free and I brought I know, that would never happen. But I brought over a teddy bear to sleep with and I'm an adult when we have a sleepover.

SPEAKER_02

Well, you might have been the shortest relationship that I ever had. Right.

SPEAKER_01

I mean, trust me, I've been through them, but See, there's there's things that are weird when you get to be an adult, and then there's this one.

SPEAKER_02

Okay.

SPEAKER_00

Identical twins should be children. Whenever I see a set of adults identical twins, I just think still Still!

SPEAKER_02

What a great line! Still! You know, it's you're right. What mentally, and there's nothing, I mean, uh nothing wrong with twins as adults. It is interesting though, because outside of the old gum commercial years ago, yeah, where they the doublement used to actually sell it that way, you know, uh, but this was good like way back in the early 90s, they did this whole ad campaign using twins as adults. It is something that I mentally think they're just kids, you know.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, you go still?

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, right. Yes. You know, it's very much as a kid, and you don't see it that often. I'm trying to think.

SPEAKER_01

Um My mom's cousin, he was married to a twin. And they would dress alike. They had the same hairstyle, they had the same glasses style.

SPEAKER_02

Even as adults.

SPEAKER_01

As adults. Oh, but you know who they looked like. These are the only twins that are allowed to exist in this world are Patty and Selma from Simpsons. Like no one else can exist as twins as an adult. Well, it's funny because on Lydia's Which by the way, Sonia and I wanted to do that for Halloween, but now I got a boyfriend. I was like, oh, do we go as Homer? Oh. Bingo. Bingo, Scott. I love you.

SPEAKER_02

Oh, but anyway. Actually, wait, you should be our homer. Oh, you suck now. But uh Well, I mean, we'd have to put a pillow in your shirt. Oh, right. Yeah, okay. Cover that one up. You know you wouldn't. Uh so there are there's uh on Lydia's soccer team, she has uh twins that uh and you're seven. And in if the if this team stays together for years, like immediately past the the the early teen years, like let's say the you know, the tween, like you're almost to the teen years after that. No, they're they're they're not twins anymore.

SPEAKER_01

Exactly. Even in high school, we had Jody and Jamie Quakkenbush. I'll never forget it.

SPEAKER_02

And of course that name adds to it.

SPEAKER_01

Right, and they would come and they would they would come to school and they would be in matching overalls. I'm like, what? Yeah, when does that?

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, get your own identity. I know for a fact about it.

SPEAKER_01

I mean, I know your jeans are like identical, but get your own identity.

SPEAKER_02

But it could be yourself. Exactly. Oh, yeah, or me. Uh, but the funny thing is, uh, now that I think about it, I I don't think the twins on on Lydia's team uh do any of the dress-alike thing or anything. I mean, I don't see them every day. But I'm talking on the soccer field, I think they're pretty different. I think in fact, now that I think about it, yes. Am I remembering correctly that one had a dress one night and one was like just in regular running around soccer shorts. So that's interesting that they they're not from I think the parents have the influence on that of like, okay, well, you don't have to, you don't have to both look like Raggedy Ann and Andy.

SPEAKER_01

I'm glad you said that because I was wondering who makes that decision. And this came in. To be honest, I also feel that parents should dress their identical twins in different clothes.

SPEAKER_02

No, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Yes, each of them should have their own person and have a personality since birth.

SPEAKER_02

I agree with that. That that makes sense. Well, listen, I agree with it, and I don't have twins.

SPEAKER_01

I saw a guy in a club once and his twin came up to him wearing the exact same outfit. Like please grow up.
