Whew man, let me tell you what a weird, screwed up week this has been for me with those snow days that they gave back. So I was here, then I was sorta here, now I'm here again, and it's only been three days.
SPEAKER_01Wait, when were you here?
SPEAKER_00I don't know. Was I here? It's such a weird week. It really is. It's like and it doesn't end. Listen to this. Okay.
SPEAKER_01So Scott's leaving at 7.05 today.
SPEAKER_00I'll be out the door in about three minutes. No, actually, let me start with this. This is far more important than my weirdness. Okay. Um, because that's been going on for well, 50 plus years. Um, so I'm in the shower and I'm like, oh my God, yeah, it's today's Friday. We spin the birthday wheel.
SPEAKER_01Oh, believe me, this came up in conversation last night. So I went to dinner with a girlfriend who I haven't seen in over a year. And then after it ended pretty early. So then I met up with Zach for like a half hour, and I walked into the sit and bowl, and this guy is like the birth.
SPEAKER_00I love how you just put your hands to the forehead, like the exasperated moment of like, oh my lord.
SPEAKER_01He he says that first week was so painful.
SPEAKER_00Oh, like yeah, but that was funny. Yes.
SPEAKER_01And then, and I said, and then the second week I wasn't there. No winner.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Third week, Scott wasn't here, no winner. And I explained what happened off now.
SPEAKER_00No, no, third week I was here. Fourth week, you were I wasn't here. Last this past week. So we're waiting I uh no Oh, this is as confusing as the birthday.
SPEAKER_01First week we were together.
SPEAKER_00Yes.
SPEAKER_01Second week, I was not here.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, you were in Vegas.
SPEAKER_01Third week, you weren't here.
SPEAKER_00Oh, and then we're up to the fourth week. Okay, yeah. Oh, I missed one of the weeks one of us wasn't here.
SPEAKER_01I don't recognize to him that off the air somebody had called saying that it was her birthday, but I was like, your voice does not reflect that year, but you know, okay. It could be though. I'm gonna give you the benefit of the doubt. Yeah. And then when I said, when you bring me your license or birth certificate, is it going to say da-da-da-da-da-da? No. So I said, I said, I said, Mike, Mike, this is the guy at the bar. I said, Mike, we're up to $424. He goes, I know. I've been listening every single week. I'm waiting for someone to win this money.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, you know.
SPEAKER_01By the way, thank you to Hesselsons.
SPEAKER_00Oh, yes, oh, very much. Thank you. Uh, so at any rate, we'll spin. Now remember, later today, 7 30.
SPEAKER_01I've been telling everyone, we even especially when you were gone, because I really thought I was gonna give away the money last Friday. Yes. I was telling everyone, set your phone for 725. Sure. I don't care if you're in the shower and you you just need that reminder.
SPEAKER_00It gets you close to the time, so you're ready.
SPEAKER_01Exactly, exactly. So very exciting day. I also, yeah, go ahead.
SPEAKER_00Remember, you have to have the birthday day, month, and year. It has to be your birthday. Yeah. All three of those have to match your birthday to win at 7:30.
SPEAKER_01Yes.
SPEAKER_00God. So, anyway, back to this uh craziness. So it's been it's been a little bit nutty of a week. My reason is See you later. Oh, yeah. Gotta go. Well, that's the thing. So I'm awaiting a message from Lydia's teacher because this is the most classic. What? Hold on. So yesterday, just so you guys know how nuts, you know, it's been what are we changing our shirts to the alley show? Yep. And well, really, it should have been that for years. Uh, but just ask 3386. He's been praying for that moment.
SPEAKER_01So it let me see if he's texted yet.
SPEAKER_00It's already been a three-day week for me, which is weird.
SPEAKER_01Uh-huh.
SPEAKER_00Uh, but then yesterday the kids had the eye appointment, right? Okay. Right.
SPEAKER_01So everything went fine. I have a question about that too.
SPEAKER_00Well, go ahead.
SPEAKER_01Did you take them back to school?
SPEAKER_00Yes, of course.
SPEAKER_01Oh my God, you're such a loser.
SPEAKER_00Both of them both of them got there just in time for lunch after I fed them on the way back.
SPEAKER_01Oh, yeah, but McDonald's is better. I assume they got McDonald's. All right.
SPEAKER_00We we did the BK, but Okay, BK. But but either way, same thing. You know, same, same, but different.
SPEAKER_01That was the conversation yesterday was is Scott going to take them back to school? Because my mom would have been like, we're blowing this day off.
SPEAKER_00No, no. I'm like, you're gonna get a little bit of normal, right? Oh my gosh. Okay, yes. At any rate, Lydia last night mentions this to me. She goes, We have our song tomorrow for the first grade class, uh, parents. And I go, What's that? You have a song that you're like, I don't recall seeing something coming. I'm pretty connected with the school. Yeah. And I don't remember seeing, like, you know, oh, the parents are invited to come see their kids sing at some point today. But I know at once God, right? But I know at 1:30 today they're doing some family, let's make a t-shirt type thing for their fun day coming up. How do working parents do this? You don't, but uh, but at any rate, I now am, and I'm asking Lydia. I'm asking you. Well, I don't, I don't know. I don't know how I'm doing it. Just it's a whirlwind. I don't know. I actually have been playing this out in my head. I'm like, do I go get Gavin from school and then bring him with me over to Lydia's school because of the way the time releases are? And you know, because I pick Gavin up and and well, anyway, here nor there. So I go to Lydia, I go, well, what what time is the song? What time is the And what is this song? Who knows? I am a first grader, only a couple weeks more. Hey! Uh that weirdly worked. And if that concert was that long, I'd be like, Woo! Let's go! Um, but I I go, what time? And she goes, 386 just texted. I figured. And and she goes, I don't remember. I'm like, oh my God. So I messaged the teacher last night. Now, mind you, I don't expect her to be checking her work text. Yeah, what are you, Jeff? Our co-worker. Our coworker who texted. I did get an email last night to him at like 11.
SPEAKER_01We got an email and a text last night. I was like, Jeff.
SPEAKER_00I ignored the text. I don't know. So I'm I don't know. I don't know if I gotta leave here at like eight at nine and and go watch a one-song concert.
SPEAKER_01Okay, 3386. This week has been like Christmas.
SPEAKER_00Shut up. I don't know what's happening.
SPEAKER_01It's like I can't get the proper information. And I've said this before.
SPEAKER_00I don't remember.
SPEAKER_01You're a great dad. You're a great dad. It's just that my mom never went to anything. So the fact that you go to everything, I'm like, what? What are all these things?
SPEAKER_00Well, yes, there's a lot of things. So maybe it's at 1 30, which won't affect me having to depart for even one song. Okay. Maybe it's at nine. Maybe it's I guess we're all in this together to find out. So hang in there, my friends.
SPEAKER_01But the birthday wheel at 7 30.
SPEAKER_00You're damn right. Oh, and you know what else?
SPEAKER_01Oh, we have Ashanti tickets? Yes. Darius Record tickets.
SPEAKER_00That's right.
SPEAKER_01Because I was looking at my ticket master last night, and I'm like, oh shoot, I forgot I have all these Darius Record tickets in my account that I gotta transfer over before next Friday. Okay.
SPEAKER_00Well, we got stuff to do. Yeah.
