One of the nice features of the app, whether you're listening on the Wake 106 app, Twin Tiers Magic, or My Radio Jams app, is you can actually send us a little audio message. Yeah. And we were just having a little bit of fun with the Twin Tiers spelling bee in honor of the script spelling bee. And this message came in. Go ahead.
SPEAKER_01I wasn't feeling well one day and I was moping in bed. So I texted my husband to bring me some ice cream and a uterus. Oh what? Instead of a utensil. It auto-cracked it. I started utensil and it said uterus. Who's this? I it is an i usually it's a spoon. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_03But there you go. Just be careful when you get your uh, I don't know, your peanut butter crunch and you uterus ice cream.
SPEAKER_02Um by the way, we are way past the 10 minutes and six seconds for the birthday wheel.
SPEAKER_03Oh, but that's okay. What's it gonna be next week? Five when nobody knows how it works.
SPEAKER_02Five hundred and thirty dollars. The thing is, there are so many people who know how it works. It is something that I get stopped about all the time. I will be in a grocery store, I'll be in a restaurant, I'm at Glassfest, wherever, and all of a sudden somebody's like, oh my God, I need to win this money. Yes, well, 500 plus how much money is that? $530 is what the birthday will be next Friday, 7 30, because we only are doing the birthday wheel on Fridays at 7 30.
SPEAKER_03$530.
SPEAKER_02And if somebody doesn't win, but then it gets rolled over.
SPEAKER_03Okay, there you go. I just wrote it down so I remember for myself.
SPEAKER_02Um so in the and well, why we're doing the birthday wheel also is because it's our 20th anniversary. So we're you know, bringing back some nostalgic things. So I thought I would bring back a nostalgic memory for Scott to get me into this next story.
SPEAKER_03Okay.
SPEAKER_02So we used to do this thing before NASCAR, and it was called race fever.
SPEAKER_03Oh, yeah. Oh, everybody's you know, people still talk about it. How they used to shut down Bridge Street and Corning and Yes. You know, in the in the heyday of race fever, you'd actually have NASCAR drivers that were out there with their vehicles, maybe for an hour or two.
SPEAKER_02Oh my gosh, yeah. I think uh I don't know if it was Kyle or Kurt Bush was there one of the years that it was like one of my first years here. Yeah, right across the street from where we were. Wait, wait. But what the other thing that we would do is we would throw out merch. So we would throw out like t-shirts and cups.
SPEAKER_03We had beach balls. We had exactly you name it.
SPEAKER_02The one memory that really stands out is Scott threw a cup. I'm not gonna laugh about this. Scott or threw a cup.
SPEAKER_03No, the the funny part is me doing it because I didn't well go ahead.
SPEAKER_02He threw a cup to um a girl who didn't have hands. So how was she gonna catch it?
SPEAKER_03So how is she in a mob of people that merch was being thrown out at? That is not a Scott problem. That is her handler's problem.
SPEAKER_02Well, a flo Oh, her handler. I see what you're doing. Yeah, you did a Florida woman uh with a missing right hand got a say citation for using the phone with her right hand. Hold on a second. Here is her interaction with the deputy on her using her right hand that she doesn't have.
SPEAKER_00She doesn't have. You go past me holding the phone with your right hand manipulating that phone. I mean, I saw you in the corner.
SPEAKER_02So you wanna just call this a day?
SPEAKER_00I don't want to call it a day. You had a hand on manipulating. Well, I thought I saw you with the right hand. You had a hand. I saw you manipulate. With the right hand, perhaps not, right? You didn't see me with my right hand.
SPEAKER_02I know what I just said.
SPEAKER_00I know what I just said. I'm asking you now. Did you not have your phone on your hand? You did not have your phone again. And to God, you did not have funny hand.
SPEAKER_03Okay, first of all, I I love Yeah, go ahead. I love how quick she was because she's clearly got a great sense of humor with the with the whole situation there. The one thing that I hate is I used to be with somebody that had that argument style where they would do the so you did it! So you did it! So you did it, and I kind of wanted to punch her with my two good hands, but I'm not that violent. Um so uh but it it because I hate that.
SPEAKER_02I think we all know somebody who fights like that.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, you know, and you're kind of it's you know what it is? It's like I know you're right, but so what am I so but what am I? Oh shut up. Uh but at any rate, she was quick. I love the fact she was quick, and he had no chance of winning. You know what? Just turn around and call it You're right. Just turn around, call it a day, say, I'm stepping back to my cruiser now. You have a wonderful day, please don't speak.
SPEAKER_02Would you like to know what the the end result is? Yes, please. It was dismissed in court. Was it really? Yeah, because she does she doesn't have a right hand. She couldn't have been committing the crime.
SPEAKER_03Wow. Yes, exactly. Wow, yeah. There there is no Soy, yeah.
SPEAKER_02That was my memory of Scott.
SPEAKER_03There, my friend, is Body Cam at its finest.
