You know, we're rounding down the end of school here. I know Pennsylvania, you guys are just a bad out of there. Oh, you have like two I mean two-ish days. It's something like that. You know, they're like they're really not full days. They're not like you're gonna do anything days. I'm actually on the fence about texting Gavin's tutor today because he has a field trip. Like we're filling days now. Oh, where is he going? I'm I gotta think it's Tanglewood, I think. I don't remember. I wanna go? I could have been in chaperone. God, I can't remember. You know, there's a wait, wait, wait. And why why are you not going? You go to everything. Oh, I it's sometimes I have to be like some other parents can chaperone. I've got to uh You don't want to hold the owl in your hand? No, I'm well I think they're going there. I can't remember where God. There's a I'm juggling a lot. Either way, all I know is I packed his lunch last night because you had to. You know, you can't what's in it? Yeah, uh a pizza. Gavin's he's not he's not a sandwich kid, so Oh, that's the elite lunch. Yeah. Did you leave him a little note? But it's uh no, but it's uh yeah. I've got so many questions. Do well. Uh but uh no, the thing about it is I I gotta work with Gavin on this. He's got a shall we say, not very expanded palette when it comes to a lot of foods. Like Liddy, I because I had to pack Gavin's lunch for his field trip today, you know I had to pack her lunch. Oh, very cute. Yeah, because you don't do that every day. No, she's she's easy. Yeah, I let him starve. I mean, I'm I'm thinking, you know, you guys you're on your own. I meant you buy they buy lunch. They get it at school most days. But Lydia is easy. She'll eat a sandwich, she'll eat whatever I put in it. Gavin, it's like, well, you you got pizza steak. He's not really yeah, and you can't really pack steak in a kid's lunch. Although a cold steak really hits the next day. Only when you're an adult. Yeah, maybe that's what it is. Because we're we just had steak recently. It doesn't work when you're a kid. Oh my gosh, so good. Yeah, they want it fresh or or nothing. The note thing was because when my mom would pack me a note, I always loved it. It was such a special she didn't do it that often. Because Gil only gets a little soft on certain days of the year. Yeah. And she would leave me a little note and it would just really touch my heart. The 32nd of the 14th month is when she gets uh soft on you. Yes, exactly. Exactly. Exactly. So uh, but that all being said, you know, we're we're at the point now. Schools are beginning to, shall we say, fill the days. I mean, I'll I'm not saying the learning, at least in New York, I'm not saying the learning's done. And we know some there's some testing still to do and things like that. Yeah. But you start seeing fewer of the big learning days. You start seeing more of the, well, let's just fill the day with something. And watch a movie, perhaps. That's what this teacher was doing. So she was uh, you know, she was doing her end of the year party. Boy, did she get roasted by one of the students uh in her class. Here you go. Today in fifth grade, the last day of fifth grade. Um, we do bingo, math bingo. I give away a bunch of prizes, snacks, drinks, trinkets, fidgets, stuffed animals, all of it. Um, and I have it set out on the table, a big old prize table. I think it looks awesome. My girl comes in, she goes, This is all you can afford. Man, I loved that's a core memory. I loved, we did bingo as a as a young kid too in school. What a great time. But I also, and now that that now that most of the people are in school, I feel like I can say this now. One of Zach's, actually Zach's best friend, is a teacher. Not here, it's like an hour-ish. He lives close to Lechworth. And he was saying the other day when he was over, he's like, honestly, those regions, those testings and all that happened at the beginning of June. What what else am I doing after that? Proof of my point! I should and I'm not gonna say that. Math bingo. Right, and he's like, he's like, What why are we still going to school after that? I think we should shift the calendar. I literally Oh my god, I've been saying this forever. I know, I know, but it was very interesting to hear a teacher because I thought teachers were like, oh, keep these little cherubs in school. No, he's like, get rid of this kid. Move him to the next grade. All right. And just let her cry. So we got tickets. Okay, this is Hootie, but it's Darius. Yeah, yeah, yeah. He's gonna be at CMAC on Saturday. And and yes, you'll get the show in before, you know, the weather changes that people are thinking, like, it's gonna be cold and rainy. No, it's gonna be 86 and sunny. You're not gonna get thunderstorm till two in the morning. CMAC is one of the best venues, too. Oh my god, yes. Okay, so here's what happened. Very accessible bathrooms right by the tree line. One of my girlfriends, she goes to, she's this homegirl travels so much for work. And at least once a month she's traveling. And she'll travel to Atlanta and she'll travel to Cleveland and she goes the other day for this upgrade on her car. But she was they give her like your standard, whatever like the company pays for, which is like nothing. It's it's basically a festiva. She's like, no, I want the Bronco. So she and very attractive, by the way. She starts like the Bronco or her? Her. Oh, gotcha. And so maybe this was a factor in it. She starts crying, and she's like, You just don't understand. Like, I'm gonna be here for a long time. And I I was planning on like going to see like the Hoover Dam or wherever she was. I'm gonna see Niagara Falls, and I need to be able to get around. Yes, I'm gonna see the Hoover Dam that blocks Niagara Falls. I don't know what city she was in a dingle in. I'm kidding. So she cries about I and I've got do you see I have this huge, I have this huge suitcase, and I'm gonna, I'm also gonna do a little shopping at Ikea while I'm here. I need something bigger. And they give it to her. They gave her because she cried. Oh, it was a man behind the counter. Oh I never asked her that. It was not a guy, it was not because she was pretty. It was because we can't handle tears. We cannot use this this rips away all self-defense and ability to say no. It's like, no make it stop. You know what the best part is? I will do whatever it takes to make you stop crying. The best part is the celebratory FaceTime. She FaceTimes me and she's like, bitch, I just got a broker! Yeah, you were just crying and now you're Oh yeah, yeah, yeah. No, this is she's she suckered this guy because you bring in the tears. I don't care. Take it, please leave, please leave. Scott, Scott, Scott's the man of the show. Oh. Cry for your Darius tickets. I want, I want drama. I want an Academy Award-winning performance. And you can either call it. Well, I'll give you four if it's the best. How about that? I don't, I can't, I can't do that. You don't have four? I don't think I do. Are you serious? You tell me you're like, I've got so many Darius tickets. Well, because we have 106 days of summer that we have to put them in. Don't do that to me. Okay. Not without me counting the inventory. Oh my god. Anyway. You're not gonna cry, are you? No. Jesus. No, but I can't. You'll get one ticket. We've got we have today, and then we have to give away Friday's tickets. I just don't have to tomorrow if somebody I mean, unless you're putting it in the other prize. Let me look. Okay. What other prize? Uh uh you just have the other prize. Oh, the 106 days of summer? Yeah. Okay, hold on. Ticketmaster's been taking long to uh open, by the way. Anyway, 607-732-9465. I want the Academy Award-winning cry. You're gonna get me in this place. Yes. That's great. Yes. Four Darius Rucker tickets at CMAC. And you might get two, you might get four, it depends. I'm not sure because I'm waiting for Ticketmaster to open up.
