I'm afraid that Scott is gonna think this is way too hippy dippy. It's called the Never Broke a Bone Theory. First of all, have you ever broken a bone? Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

You you remember how? I've told you how.

SPEAKER_01

That's right, roller skating.

SPEAKER_00

Yes, I severely snapped my wrist. In fact, they thought at the young age of uh oh god, what was I fifteen, then turning 16, they thought uh he's gonna need surgery. Oh my gosh. Oh, it was it was a bad break. In fact, if you look at my wrists, look at this. They don't they did the best they could. And but look at the difference the way that my wrists line up. See this one, yes, there's the bump over here. I do see the bump. And I'll never forget the doctor that came in and did uh did it. Now, mind you, here I am in sheer agony. I can see it. Yes, clearly, well, they weren't sure about the surgery. So clear clear agony is in Scott, except I'm on morphine at this point. So that was quite something at 15, right? And he comes in and he's like, hi, I'm Dr. Buren, rhymes with urine. I'm like, shut up. Not my guy right now.

SPEAKER_01

How did you not love that? You would love that. Scott free now would love this shit.

SPEAKER_00

If I took you to the doctor and you had the broken wrist, I'd be over in the corner in tears laughing. Burin rhymes with urine. That's awesome. Oh, but when you're urine pain, you know, you're not like ha ha ha ha this this is something that I yeah, I would eat that up.

SPEAKER_01

Well, then I think this is really in a line with the never broke a bone theory. All right. I've never broken a bone before. Okay. The never broke a bone theory is the viral tic-tac-eye, the idea that if you've never broken a bone, it's not just luck. You're spiritually protected by God because you're meant to face big challenges, often described as emotional or spiritual. Instead, it's usually framed as you have divine protection.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, see, I look at it more like, well, I broke this bone. This is how you endure, and you get stronger.

SPEAKER_01

You know what I thought? I yes, I thought that Toledo aches on a thunderstorm.

SPEAKER_00

But anyway, that's here nor there.

SPEAKER_01

Well, I thought that never broke a bone theory was people who are just aren't adventurous and they're not like ready to take on. Yes, exactly. But I'm pretty adventurous. Like I've gone skydiving, I've got well gone whitewater rafting. I'm just God, you are overdue. I'm just protected.

SPEAKER_00

Maybe on stage tomorrow night at tags, I'll trip you. We can get this thing right on. Oh, fantastic.
