I got uh listening to some details about Taylor Swift's upcoming wedding.
SPEAKER_00Uh-huh.
SPEAKER_01Wow. Tell me, uh tell me you're contradicting yourself when you want to have it a private affair, but it's at Madison Square Garden. Oh, is that where they're gonna do it? July 3rd. You wanna know why they're doing that though? Is uh there's no windows. Oh. Cause I'm sure she wants total control over what pictures are released. Sure. How they're released, because you know, she's not one to be like, oh, it's just a random shot of her walking down the aisle, and then somebody's like, and she doesn't like it. She won't no, this will be very, though. Uh no, I understand that, but uh also it they're gonna be blocking streets around it. My God, if you were a New Yorker, I mean, it's different when it's a concert and stuff like that because you could either participate or you know the energy around a concert. Sometimes people like, okay, when you lived in Cleveland, yeah, were you ever just downtown? Because I worked in Cleveland and I remember this vividly. When you uh were downtown and there was something happening at the arena, there was an energy all around it. Whether you were in for the show or not, you're like, oh, you get kind of caught up. In fact, I remember when uh I was way younger, working at a radio station there, there would be like a uh baseball game going on for the Guardians. There'd be a concert going on at the arena. Yep. We'd be down where all the clubs were in an old place which is no longer really there called the Flats. It was energized, right? Yeah. You didn't mind that roads were all detoured and stuff, but for somebody's wedding that you're not even involved in, by the way, one more. No actual invitation sent out. It's all by text.
SPEAKER_00Oh, that's interesting.
SPEAKER_01How about that? They want to keep it uh somewhat, I don't know how you keep it, I don't know how you keep a lid on it at this point. It's all out.
SPEAKER_00But if you have the text, is it like a QR code? And then they they scan that when you go into the door.
SPEAKER_01That probably for her, yeah.
SPEAKER_00At least with the Madison Square Garden thing, because when you think of weddings, like let's say you want a barn wedding, then you're going to go to a barn. Yeah. And if you want a more um like garden wedding, then you're gonna go to a garden. But being that rich, you can create whatever you want. Yeah. If you want that garden wedding, you just put a garden inside Madison Square Garden. Pretty much.
SPEAKER_01I mean, is it gonna be like sellout capacity or that's what I don't know.
SPEAKER_00Like how you know I don't think and I you I was floor only? You would have to right, you would have to cover up all of the concert seats. Yeah, there's a huge that's a huge space. I know. That's a lot of sheets. Yes, it is. You have to drape. That's so weird. Uh, just to hit some text messages really quick. Uh, the usual sus suspects. Lauren 4441, John 317, and Iliana also 1336 in there. Somebody said no excuse not to smoke food scon.
SPEAKER_01Oh, that was John 317. He's always smoking something. No, I'm back, I'm back in the mode now. I I may really suck it out of me. I had no interest in being on the deck at all during May.
SPEAKER_00I totally understand that. But now it's like really consistent great weather. 1336. Speaking of ribs, on our way home from uh the concert on Saturday, we stopped in Geneva to eat it, smoking Pete's barbecue. Excellent ribs, some of the best barbecue. I've ate there once. You're right. It is so good.
SPEAKER_01Oh, I have to remember that.
SPEAKER_00Oh, they must have gone up to Darius.
SPEAKER_01Oh Saturday, because Friday was the Shantae and Trey Songs.
SPEAKER_00Yes, yes, yes. So they must have been at Darius. Oh, very cool. Okay, that that makes sense. That or oh yeah, they said Saturday, because I know Teddy Swims was on Friday at CMAC. Speaking of, two people recently have come up to my boyfriend and told him that he looks like Teddy Swims. We were out on Saturday night.
SPEAKER_01I'm gonna look at another picture of this really quick.
SPEAKER_00We were out on Saturday night after bike night up in in Hector, and somebody said it there, and then I can't remember where they.
SPEAKER_01No, an old boyfriend of yours looks like Teddy Swims.
SPEAKER_00Right? So we both said that.
SPEAKER_01Like five ago.
SPEAKER_00I'm like, ha ha racking him up. I said I can see.
SPEAKER_01Sorry, that looks way more like somebody that starts with the letter D than the than Z.
SPEAKER_00I can honestly, I can, I can see where there's a little bit of Teddy Swim's energy, but it's really he does not no, no.
SPEAKER_01No, not at all. Because tell me this. Hold on. I gotta I I I have to I have to here, I have to do this for a minute. Okay.
SPEAKER_00I knew who you were talking about. Okay, well, I know what my ex-boyfriends look like. Oh, do you? Yeah. Some of them I'd like to forget, but that's all you guys knew there. Also, good everyone, smoking pizza is the best barbecue in the area. You know, I have to say it's it's one of my one of the top two for sure.
SPEAKER_01We'll have to set a plan uh to a head to Geneva. Although I don't find myself in Geneva that much.
SPEAKER_00No, but I just recently went for what was that restaurant I was just went? Ports. I just went for Portsmouth. But I would have to say my top three, because Boers Nest was definitely in the top three. Smoke and Pete's Boars Nest. Nickel's Pit. Nichols Pit always delivers for fail to let you down.
SPEAKER_01You know, they're always there.
SPEAKER_00Never. They've never let me down. Also, this one came in on NBA Finals game three tonight at Madison Square Garden. Cheapest ticket is six thousand dollars.
SPEAKER_01Oh, yeah, that's the cheapest. Speaking of which, I got something about that. Hang on, I'll fill you in on that next.
