Oh, go right ahead. Just keep encouraging the uh you know, keep keep trying to bring on the embarrassment. You know, I'm not even embarrassed about it. How many people knew what Trey's songs looked like before he took the stage at tags?
SPEAKER_00Well, you could at least Google Google what he looks like before you're just walking up to every Tom Dick and Harry backstage.
SPEAKER_01Thank you, people, for coming. That's that's what my job is. Being a nice guy.
SPEAKER_00And of course you pat him on the back. Glad glad you're here. Glad you're here.
SPEAKER_01Glad you made it, man. Thanks for it.
SPEAKER_00On the Scott and Alley.
SPEAKER_01Wish you were somebody, but sorry.
SPEAKER_00On the Scott and Scott and Alley um stories, there is a picture of me and Chris Washburn, who was the DJ who's Asian. And then I wrote, This is who Scott thought was Trey Songs. Then the next picture is Trey Songs. Vastly different looking people. Okay. I anyway.
SPEAKER_01And Chris could have faked it. I'd have believed it.
SPEAKER_00I don't know if he would have or not.
SPEAKER_01I believed it.
SPEAKER_00I don't know if he would have because he blatantly said to me, Have we met before?
SPEAKER_01So he said that to you.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, and I said, I don't know. I've been here for 20 years. And he said, Well, I live in Ithaca, but I live part-time in LA. I'm like, okay, well, maybe we have, maybe we haven't, but I'm here.
SPEAKER_01Well, you guys were talking like you would see him every year at one of the tag shows.
SPEAKER_00Oh, yeah, we ended up I was there for a while, so we ended up just chit-chatting a bunch behind behind the scenes.
SPEAKER_01Well, have fun with the texts that are coming in, so go ahead and enjoy.
SPEAKER_00So first one is from Tiffany. He should be used to seeing someone Asian. Jules's that Jules is her daughter, by the way. Jules's boyfriend is Korean.
SPEAKER_01He's half Korean and he doesn't even have Asian features.
SPEAKER_00Okay, you said the same thing about Chris Washburn, but if you go and look at the picture.
SPEAKER_01Okay, when Chris was smiling in the picture next to you, some features present themselves. When I was assuming he was Trey Songs trying to get a radio drop from him, uh-huh. He wasn't that we he wasn't like in that smiley picture mode.
SPEAKER_00Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm.
SPEAKER_01You can see the confusion.
SPEAKER_007025. No, I can't. 7025. Good everyone. I'm cracking up with the story you just told about the concert. Poor Scott being picked on, but that was funny. Hope you both have a great day.
SPEAKER_01You shouldn't see the other guy. I mean, I've never seen the other guy that was standing near Chris earlier before, right before you and I went on stage, the guy with that little kind of straggly beard and all that stuff and had the Hawaiian shirt, totally patted him on the shoulder as I'm walking by. One of those walk-by pats, you know, where you like cup your hand, you're like, I'm like, thanks, man, for coming. This is great, man. Thanks, this and that. He was all smiles.
SPEAKER_00So I'm I'm figuring like He's like, somebody's giving me my flowers, and I don't even know this guy.
SPEAKER_01You know? Right. I mean, everybody was getting some thanks.
SPEAKER_00I'm just glad you didn't say. Can't wait to hear your show later or something like that.
SPEAKER_01I mean, who knows? All these guys could have been doing shows too.
SPEAKER_00Who knows? Uh, thanks for being there. You know. Yeah. Okay. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Thanks for being you.
SPEAKER_00I never whoever you are. I never get mixed up. I'm never out in public and somebody goes, Oh my gosh, flow from progressive.
SPEAKER_01Oh, actually, that would work really well.
SPEAKER_00It would work totally well.
SPEAKER_01That would very work, very well work for you.
SPEAKER_00But nobody ever has ever said it to me out loud or has approached me and thought, oh, I know this did happen. Well, are you the progressive girl? Uh this happened once. Uh during COVID, you know, obviously it was what it was what it is, and we were wearing masks. So I look like somebody else in the area named Shanna, and her and I are ironically friends. Her name's Shanna Warwick. And so somebody came up to me and hugged me at Wegman's. They're like, Shanna! I gave him the biggest hug back. I'm like, Did you look at him and go, Thanks for coming?
