Have you ever been in a situation where you've deliberately worked on changing something that you think might have been perceived as annoying about you?

SPEAKER_03

Oh my God. How can I count the ways? No. Um gosh, I have had people tell okay. No. But something that you hate about me is that I sing everything. Oh my gosh.

SPEAKER_02

It's so random. I'm like, I wasn't expecting you to break into song here, but there you go.

SPEAKER_03

So I just don't feel like I can change it. Like, of course I could change anything, but it's also something I don't want to change. You're right. I don't want you to dull my sunshine.

SPEAKER_02

I'm not it's not dulling your sunshine. It's just, you know, it's dulling my sunshine. All right. Well, there you go.

SPEAKER_03

So could I change that?

unknown

No.

SPEAKER_02

Okay. Well, fair enough. You've never been in that situation. Or even in a self-conscious way. I'm not talking like a physical look. You know, I mean, some people go on GLP ones because they want to change physically their appearance. No, no, no. I'm saying, you know, something that you're just sort of like, eh, well, you know, I think that might annoy people. I might I better knock it off.

SPEAKER_03

I think maybe in my younger days, but now I just I've I've accepted this. Okay, well, this girl accepted this body, this personality.

SPEAKER_02

This girl apparently gets complaints about her laugh, decides to do this.

SPEAKER_00

So I read a few times that you guys do not like my laugh, so I decide that I'm gonna change my laugh. So I've been working out a couple. I have three new laughs, so please let me know what you guys like.

SPEAKER_01

Okay.

SPEAKER_00

Number one.

SPEAKER_01

The silent one, like a little more silent, but you still hear it through.

SPEAKER_03

No.

SPEAKER_01

Second one.

unknown

Ah!

SPEAKER_00

That sounds like a seal. That's number two. And I think for number three, I really like it. What's your favorite? I like that one too.

SPEAKER_03

I have to say, I I I don't know what a real laugh sounds like. And I love all of those other ones, but don't ever change your laugh. Like your laugh is.

SPEAKER_02

Your laugh is you. Sometimes your laugh will change as you grow.

SPEAKER_03

Okay.

SPEAKER_02

That there is sometimes a change in laugh. It's just it, I don't know. It's the way it happens.

SPEAKER_03

I always think it's weird when people laugh with their mouth closed, which was her first laugh. Oh, yeah, I know that.

SPEAKER_02

Kind of like, um, tell me I'm not funny without saying I'm not funny.

SPEAKER_03

Just let it out.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, right? It's like your laugh is. Or it's like people that sneeze with their mouth closed. They're like, that was a gross sound. I'm so sorry. But am I right? Right. And that's why we should do it. Blow it out, you know? I want everybody covered with this snot.

SPEAKER_03

That's another one where people find other people's sneezes super annoying. And I'm like, uh can you can you stop it? No, I well, you you the ones that hold it in there like, you know, it drives me nuts.

SPEAKER_02

I'm like, you're gonna blow your brains out.
