Yeah, if I was having steak and eggs, of course I'd have lots of protein in my breakfast.
SPEAKER_02Right. And but you don't have to announce that you're having lots of protein in your breakfast. You're having steak and eggs. I'll figure it out.
SPEAKER_01Oh no. Now the uh Lego My Ego protein waffles are out there. Yup. Yup.
SPEAKER_02Of course. Let's have ourselves that. Protein waffles. Didn't we think the protein were moving to creatine? Didn't we think that uh the protein trend was ending? Because I started seeing a bunch of creatine things starting to pop up. You know, there's somebody.
SPEAKER_01There's somebody I follow that she is on creatine. Her back is so ripped.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, you gotta be careful with that though. That adds a lot of water weight.
SPEAKER_01Well, that way, but what if you stay hydrated and like so you're flushing?
SPEAKER_02I think that's the point to it, but it requires a little bit different effort than you know, everything that's gotta have, you know, protein. I just hate the announcing of it. I think it's great that they're sneaking it into things. You know, I mean there there are the over-the-top people that everything has to be announced as protein, but then you know, for kids specifically, sneak it in. You know, that's one thing that Gavin's uh Gavin's uh um uh said meteorologist, pediatrician his personal weather person. But he would have one. They they were saying, you know, like you know when you can sneak it in, you know. It's not I'm good with that. How do you sneak it in? Well, you buy a protein ego.
SPEAKER_01Oh and you just don't tell them. I wonder if he can tell the difference. Well, I don't know if you could because they're now like blueberry and they have other flavors and stuff too.
SPEAKER_02So they essentially took their entire line and added protein to something.
SPEAKER_01Plus, if you add maple syrup, how would you really know? Do you think you would be able to tell the difference? I don't know. I think you can. Like, you know, those Kodak cakes, you can kind of tell the difference. There's a there's a grittiness to your breakfast. I've never had one of those.
SPEAKER_02You've never? No. Oh no, because I don't over search beyond it. Like I I eat the things that have it in it already. Like it might be steak night in America in my house. Who's that? I see.
SPEAKER_01You're you're not looking for a whey protein or something that's like a filler protein.
SPEAKER_02Maybe if I was doing a lot of like if I said I'm pumping the irons, yeah. You know, if I was doing that, okay, I could see where I would look. You know, I there was a period of time back in the gym days.
SPEAKER_01The only lifting I'm doing is this six-pack right now. That's right.
SPEAKER_02Uh, you know, I used to drink like a muscle milk once in a blue. Oh, yeah. Uh, things like that, which I enjoyed. You know, that was fine. But I I personally don't search it out. It is the broadcasting of everyone going, like, you're better than everyone because you're doing so much protein.
SPEAKER_01As long as you recognize it.
