SPEAKER_01

Hey, you know what today is? Weenie Wednesday. Yes, it is. The weieners are gonna be cooking in a couple hours. Well, I mean, not yet.

SPEAKER_00

I have relish on my back because I put relish in my bag, my work bag, and apparently it leaked down my back. So now I already smell like a weenie. It's I don't know.

SPEAKER_01

I mean, you know, I travel with baby wipes. Do you need do you need a wipe down?

SPEAKER_00

I just know it's wet back there. Oh god. That's all I know. And this is on your back. Yeah, it's like on my lower back where you like you throw a bag.

SPEAKER_01

Oh my God. Jordan, I need you to go to my car, get the baby wipes. She needs a scrub down. Just yuck.

SPEAKER_00

And listen. Which honestly, I don't know. Do you want to be sticky all day? I've watching The Pit, and this is so morbid. But this guy dies in the show. Yeah. Hell yeah. And he's really bloody because he hemorrhaged. And do you like how we're talking about hot dogs and then this? Wow. But hold on, there's a lot of things.

SPEAKER_01

There'll be no meat sauce today. However, right now on this segment of the show, there sure will be.

SPEAKER_00

There's a correlation. So the guy was uh he was a frequent flyer in the hospital. And whenever you know, they wanted to pay their respects. So when they were wanted to pay their respects, the nurses all they did was wipe them down with some baby wipes. I'm like, that's it.

SPEAKER_01

But listen, you you all think I'm crazy because you know, technically my kids are outside of diaper years. Technically. I mean, I'm closer than they are to uh diaper years, right? Right. But there is something about baby wipes that you if you have a pack in your car, you feel safer with the with the world around you.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, so in the show, they at first it was like, okay, the you get rid of the the big stuff, right? Like whatever the liver. The liver. I meant like the sheets, you know. Okay. You get rid of the big stuff. And then not only did they do it once, but then they came back later and there was a young nurse who was training, and the the older nurse said, Well, we're gonna go back in, we're gonna do this again. And she's like, But we already did it. And the woman explains, Well, you know, there's gonna be some other dry blood.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, yeah. There's the residual. Yes. Yeah, well, you even find that with a kid, you know, like Lydia's funny. It doesn't matter what she's eating, she will find a way to get it all over her face still. Lydia, me. Yeah, well, that too. Yeah, you get it on your back. I'm far more impressed. I know, right? I also love the fact that you have prepared for lunch already and brought your own sweet relish.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, no, what happened was I was getting all of the um condiments yesterday, and that was the one thing that I I just couldn't find. Like I I couldn't find packets of anything, to be honest with you. So today at Weenie Wednesday, so yeah, let's explain that. Weenie Wednesday kicks off at 11 o'clock, right here in our back parking lot. If you don't know where we're at, we are on the Miracle Mile, right down from the Mark Twain golf course. But anyway, um, you're gonna drive through, get two hot dogs and a bag of chips, all for five dollars, plus get a free Coke product. But as far as finding the little packets of condiments, oh yeah. That's something that I couldn't find yesterday. Really? No. So they had the Even at the Samuel's? That's where I went. Couldn't find it. Wow. So I ended up just you know, wrangling some condiments, but the relish was something that I brought from home.

SPEAKER_01

That was that that's a specific for you treat.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, well, I have two different relishes. And I even just to really level up the Weenie Wednesday today, guys.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

So this one I won't be sharing with the class because this has been opened and for you know health purposes. It's the big dilly pickle kraut.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, wow.

SPEAKER_00

Yes, I got it at Ithaca Farmers Market today.

SPEAKER_01

It is, yeah, look at that.

SPEAKER_00

But I also brought onions to dice up in case we needed them.

SPEAKER_01

Wow. So now we're chopping.

SPEAKER_00

Well, I just thought, you know, if if somebody wants some onions, we can accommodate.

SPEAKER_01

Okay. Do you have a sharp knife?

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, we have the blue one in the kitchen.

SPEAKER_01

That is not sharp.

SPEAKER_00

This is a sharpened knife. No, not the big long one.

SPEAKER_01

Yes, I know exactly the one you're talking about. It is plastic. It's not.

SPEAKER_00

It's like it's like a metal. The handle's plastic. The the knife is metal.

SPEAKER_01

No.

SPEAKER_00

Yes, I'm gonna need to look at this.

SPEAKER_01

Go touch. I'm bringing the knife in here in a minute.

SPEAKER_00

Jordan.

SPEAKER_01

Just keep going. Come here.

SPEAKER_00

Can you grab the blue knife from the kitchen?

SPEAKER_01

Do we have a cutting board or are we doing this too? Oh, we do? Yeah, yeah. We've got don't worry, we got everything. Okay, that's good. Can you do me a favor? There's a long blue knife in the kitchen. I'm gonna kill her. Can you just go get it? Uh really.

SPEAKER_00

Just want to make sure that it can penetrate the skin.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, we're just making sure that he's I got a thumbs up. That was an instantaneous thumbs up. Did he actually go get the baby wipes? No, no, not yet. No, I'm gonna do that next, though, for you. We're gonna do a wipe down. We can't go through the day feeling sticky. You're making me uncomfortable.

SPEAKER_00

I don't know if it's sticky. I might have been.

SPEAKER_01

Bring me this. Bring this to me. Oh, it's totally metal. This is there When did we get this knife?

SPEAKER_00

This is the big blue knife that's lived here forever.

SPEAKER_01

There's another blue knife in there, isn't there? No. That was the only big blue knife I saw. Well, um, I've apparently been working somewhere else. I can I'm touching the metal.

SPEAKER_00

Like, there you go. I needed I needed that.

SPEAKER_01

I really thought we had this big janky plastic, you know, thing. I've seen you use it.

SPEAKER_00

This is the knife I always use. You know what?

SPEAKER_01

The long story is if somebody wants onions, they're hot.

SPEAKER_00

Onions, relish, ketchup mustard. Well done. All right.

SPEAKER_01

Well, we'll we'll tell you what.

SPEAKER_00

We're taking cash only, aren't we?

SPEAKER_01

Yes, it's cash only because, well, we don't have a way to read a chip right here.

SPEAKER_00

Well, this is like everything. You could Venmo me and I could always just give the money to Melissa.

SPEAKER_01

This is uh the the yeah, let's do one more process to this.

SPEAKER_00

Uh, this is like everyone I got my Venmo QR code in my car.

SPEAKER_01

This is oh, that's right, you do. All right, it's a possibility, but the reality to it is also think of going to any craft fair uh in the twin tiers. Yeah. It's cash only. Unless you really want to put your Venmo out. Oh my God.
