At least somebody's watching out for us. I just got the text message from Tiffany. She goes, and and with a screenshot. Serving onions that you chopped yourself in public are strictly regulated. Oh, yes.

SPEAKER_00

Do I need to go further with this? No, I'm gonna chop I'm gonna chop them up with gloves, but also I'm gonna say this. You know, it's like the people who who try to bring us the cat hair um banana bread. Oh eat at your own risk. You know, these are my onions. This is the Allie onion stash because I want onions on my hot dog for Weenie Wednesday.

SPEAKER_01

Maybe you have a container you keep in the cooler after you chop it and and like secret stash it.

SPEAKER_00

That's what I'm saying. This is my stash. Exactly. You eat this onion at your own risk. This is my stash of onions.

SPEAKER_01

All right, well, have it. You go and do what you do. All right, so really quick. So later today, like we were, well, we we drifted as we always do into multiple areas. Somehow we talked about a dead body and uh uh, you know, wiping them down with baby wipes. So if you're confused, because even yesterday when uh you know I there were some people that, you know, you bump into people, and I'm like, oh, it's you know, Weenie Wednesday tomorrow. And they're like, Well, what's that? And I said, Well, a couple things. Salem Six Hour at the Glen is coming uh this weekend to Watkins Glen International. Ironically, Dawn, the president of the track, is coming down to help us sling dogs today. Like, yeah. That's the way it works. Dawn and her dogs. So uh, nice. And uh uh so that's happening starting at 11. $5. You get two hot dogs, they're Salem's hot dogs. If you've never had one, they're a real good hot dog. I grew up on these in Buffalo, it's a Buffalo company.

SPEAKER_00

Don't you remember when I told you my Vegas story and my friend Bridget, I asked her if she wanted a hot dog in Vegas, and she goes, I only eat Salem's.

SPEAKER_01

Yes, exactly.

SPEAKER_00

Okay. I mean, rightfully so. You had one, you're good. So you get two of them. You'll never eat another type of dog in your life, apparently. You'll seek them out. Even though, even with the secret onions.

SPEAKER_01

You get you get the uh you get the two dogs, you'll get the uh uh a bag of chips and a free Coke product. And by the way, I noticed walking in, they didn't skimp on the Coke products. I mean, we're you never know. Oh because sometimes it can be like, would you like a fresca? You know, I love a fresca. I know, but you know what I'm saying.

SPEAKER_00

But they've got sprite, coke, diet coke. Those are your options.

SPEAKER_01

No, you're you're in good shape.

SPEAKER_00

You know, I feel like you can find something out of those three.

SPEAKER_01

And it's it's more or less just a drive-thru. We're oh, and proceeds go into the Children's Miracle Network. So it this is it's just a quick, you know, pull in and out. We can serve up to 250 people, or when the supply's gone, or you know, if we uh get to a point, you know, a little after one, we're like, okay, I think we've wrapped up this group. Yeah. Well, then you and I are gonna have hot dogs for days.

SPEAKER_00

I I can't wait. I know. Especially because I have guests coming in town tonight. Oh, did you want hot dogs for dinner? Great.

SPEAKER_01

Pre-cooked, look at this.

SPEAKER_00

Salines? I only eat saline.

SPEAKER_01

Well, that's right. So that's that's what's happening today, just so you know. And you're welcome to come by and grab some.

SPEAKER_00

Cash only, unless you want to Vemo me and I'll pay our business director. I'm which is such a janky way of doing it.

SPEAKER_01

That's the way we do things sometimes. Listen, believe me.

SPEAKER_00

On this event, yes. So here's the thing.

SPEAKER_01

You know, this just proves you can still do something quick. And you know, you just look the other way.

SPEAKER_00

Does it mean that it's gonna be great?

SPEAKER_01

No, not at all. I've never said, Look, for 20 years, I've been sitting here going, it's I can't guarantee greatness. I just guarantee we'll pull it off. Well, something will happen. Um, so and it's we'll have a good crowd. I'll uh we'll work through the the Venmo part, but if you wanna if you want to take that approach, go right ahead.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, I already have the QR code printed. Why not? I don't see I hate it.

SPEAKER_01

Something says I'm broke like Venmo me. Here's my QR code.

SPEAKER_00

Oh no, this is how everyone buys things now because I hate it when I go to events and they don't have a Venmo. Yeah. I went to Ithaca Farmers Market and there was this Cambodian restaurant that we really wanted to eat from. Cash only. I'm like, Cambodia just found food.

SPEAKER_01

I mean, come on. Do you think they're gonna understand Venmo?

SPEAKER_00

Like, can't you just get a Venmo? No.

SPEAKER_01

I used to we used to raise pennies for them in Cambodia when I was in elementary school. The UNICEF? Yeah, do you think they suddenly figured out Venmo?

SPEAKER_00

Do you know what back in the day? I don't think kids do this anymore because I don't even know what what fundraiser does Gavin and Lydia do now?

SPEAKER_01

Dive for the ones for the school. They're you know, if they're doing a fundraiser, uh ones for the school.

SPEAKER_00

I mean Okay, so back in the day, we used to have this thing where we would collect.

SPEAKER_01

This is how I locked in Tiffany. I still don't know what kind of fundraiser.

SPEAKER_00

I love that you have no clue. I was I was hoping you were gonna say like candy bars. No, I know not candy bars. No, I wrapping paper. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, well, no, you get the book. Remember, you've gotten the books, and there's all sorts of different crap in there.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. There you go.

unknown

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Well, back in the day, we used to have this UNICEF box and we look like a little milk carton. We would go around in our neighborhood and say, Will you donate to UNICEF? I remember one guy was like, Are you really gonna give it to your school?

SPEAKER_01

And at the time, am I gonna keep a penny?

SPEAKER_00

Well, at the time I was young, and I was like, Yes, I promise. But now as an adult, I'm like, you were like fretting over five cents, yeah, right, dude.

SPEAKER_01

People are just something we never change as a species.

SPEAKER_00

No, and I'm like the the like the sweetest little kid. Like, I just let it give it to a Cambodian kid who has no food.

SPEAKER_01

It still doesn't have memo.
