Before we get to what you found in your mousetrap, let me raise up here for a few seconds because I know you're gonna gross us out.

SPEAKER_01

So our friend John, uh you know, uh John thought he also is known as 7100.

SPEAKER_00

7100, yeah. So John is uh we we I've yet to send back yet, but he has we have similar equipment when it comes to you know grilling. He's got the blackstone. Oh thank God, okay. I have the blackstone. Well, we also have similar equipment because he's a John and I'm a Scott.

SPEAKER_01

I wasn't I wasn't sure what the same, same, but not really, I guess.

SPEAKER_00

I don't know. I haven't seen. Uh but pick is next. Yeah, so at any rate, he he sends me, and let me tell you, John is a barbecue master.

SPEAKER_01

And this morning, right now, and I think he's doing He does honey, he does barbecue. This is like the jack of all trades kind of guy.

SPEAKER_00

Pastrami bacon on his flat top right now. I think he's doing it for his office. Take a look, scroll those pictures.

SPEAKER_01

Come work here.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, I know, right? Yeah, John, what do you do? Can you work? Can you sell anything? Because nobody can hear, so maybe you could come work here. I love pastrami. But um, he made, and then look at this. He made that. He made uh over the weekend some some pork uh chop thing that it's it's just a beautiful.

SPEAKER_01

Is that burnt ends?

SPEAKER_00

I don't know what that is, but I'd eat it.

SPEAKER_01

I know. I gotta catch you up to for me to tell you what I found in my mousetrap. Yeah, I have to catch you up on Monday. You weren't here, so I'm gonna give you a quick synopsis.

SPEAKER_00

Yes.

SPEAKER_01

And this will then reveal.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, it was weirdly out of touch. Usually I am able to catch pieces of the show Monday for whatever reason. I just I'm sorry. I I didn't uh I know, I know.

SPEAKER_01

You should be uh just hanging on every word I said.

SPEAKER_00

Well, I mean, a lot of times if I'm off and I'm home, I'm like, well, let's see how she's screwing up.

SPEAKER_01

Oh my god. So what happened was I noticed that we had a bit of a mouse problem again.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

And it started with some bread that was left on the counter, and I noticed that there was some taken out of it.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. Is that the sound effect for bites? Yes. Okay, I'm just following along. Exactly.

SPEAKER_01

So then all of a sudden, and and and you know, as you know, my boyfriend is a big bird nerd, and we had bird feeders in the back of the property, but he so the bears got to him, so he brought them in just as a I I'm not really sure why.

SPEAKER_00

Okay. He brought them in.

SPEAKER_01

He brought them in and they were in the lower level of my home. Well, then, as I was off on Friday, I saw that there was uh like a little pile of bird seed on the stairs that go to my lower level. And I thought, oh my gosh, he must have set the bird feeder on the stairs.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, that makes sense. It might have spilled a little.

SPEAKER_01

Exactly. No big deal. Well, as I'm cleaning more on Juneteenth, I pick up like these curtains are very long and they kind of drape on the ground, and there's all these seeds that fall out of the curtains. I knew it. I knew it, Scott. I said, these mice.

SPEAKER_00

Did you go, Zachary?

SPEAKER_01

He wasn't home. Get these bird feeders out of here. He wasn't, he wasn't home, he was at work. I could yell his name. I oh believe me. So then I this is the this was what really set me off was I have a headscarf that I wear really uh very often. Yes. Whereas the big bow. Well, it had fallen on the ground.

SPEAKER_00

You should see her when she's working the counter at a gas station with that headscarf.

SPEAKER_01

So I I it had fallen on the ground, and I went to pick it up also in the cleaning process. Birds seed everywhere. Oh, when it gets in my head scarf, I'm like, you've got to be kidding me. So he comes, he comes home, and I was like, I'm not mad, but we have a problem. You're basically providing a Chinese buffet for all the mice in this house. Oh, and I didn't yell like that. I'm sorry, excuse me. No, no, you would have had the right to. No, I did, but I didn't. I just showed him the video of all the seeds. I said, see all these seeds?

SPEAKER_00

Oh, you took the passive aggressive approach and said that. Okay. God forbid you just, you know, jokingly go, a Chinese buffet. No, let's watch a video together. Let's do a history documentary of how the mice survived. Carry it out.

SPEAKER_01

Let's so now I said, You need to take care of this. I don't care what you gotta do, but you need to take care of this. This is on you now. This is you. Well, you know, it started off with some mouse traps, and they ate the peanut butter right off those traps. These are POS traps, right? Right. He he he goes in the tractor supply, gets the good ones. They're like plastic and they're bigger and whatever. So I see that he gets a mouse. And I was like, oh my god, there we go. Well, then there's another trap. And I get home yesterday and I was like, whoa, that is a really big mouse. Oh no. So he comes over last night and I said, It's over there, that one. And he looks and he goes, That's a really big mouse. And then he goes, Oh my god, it's a chipmunk.

SPEAKER_00

A chipmunk in my moelestra. I thought chipmunks were smaller than mice. This one was huge.

SPEAKER_01

Why do I L Why is it huge? Because he's got a chip scene.

SPEAKER_00

You know, this doesn't sound terrible. The mice thing, I understand the dirty vibe on that.

SPEAKER_01

God, I can't even stand it.

SPEAKER_00

But for whatever reason, I feel horrible that it's a gym monster. Me too.

SPEAKER_01

So is it dead? Like, yes, dad! That was snapped off in my mouth. Oh my god.

SPEAKER_00

And you want to cut onions for people today at work?
