We were uh we were looking for a place that Allie could get a deer dog, you know, a venison wiener.

SPEAKER_01

And uh preferably with cheese. Okay.

SPEAKER_00

And uh I got nothing on that because I I hate venison. God, I just it's not my thing. Um but uh I I had said, you know, the place that probably would have had it years ago would have been that place that grocery store everybody loved right off 86, as you're headed to the valley. And then it closed a couple years ago.

SPEAKER_01

For what reason I don't know though. Well, I I mean, maybe it was because I think it was a family operation. Sure. And I think eventually there's a grandkid or a kid who just doesn't want to do it.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, that's gotta be a lot of work. And everybody responded with Ted Clarks. Thank you very much. Mike got it. Uh let's see here. I got uh 1336. Uh and then Natalie got it too.

SPEAKER_01

So I'll put it on my social and see if I can find somebody that's got them. Because somebody'll have them. I'll buy like eight packs of them to get me through. Yeah. I mean, why not? Right. I'm not gonna go and just get one pack.

SPEAKER_00

Uh let's see, what do we got here? Oh, 3386 is in Allie. What was the uh movie on the back of the kid's phone? Oh, now can you tell us?

SPEAKER_01

Oh, yeah, because he claimed he claimed it's claimed it. It was Star Wars. Oh, oh, of course it was.

SPEAKER_00

I think it was well known.

SPEAKER_01

I think it was R2D2 that was on the back or something. Yeah. Something like that.

SPEAKER_00

The things people are interested in, right?

SPEAKER_01

Um, I have we're gonna start early with a murder story.

SPEAKER_00

I'm ready for murder. Hang on, I'm almost ready for murder. Now I'm ready for murder.

SPEAKER_01

This Georgia man strangled a woman, but then died while disposing of her body. So he they found him, they found her.

SPEAKER_00

I mean, thanks for saving the court a lot of money and time.

SPEAKER_01

Totally, totally. So they found her signs of strangulation. Then they find him not that far away, had a heart attack. Yeah, well, that's what you get. Karma's a bitch.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. Yeah. And again, thank you for saving all the time and uh and money of the court system and uh the prison system.

SPEAKER_01

Right? That's all I know about the story, but that's it.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, what more do you need to know? The story's over. That's all you really need to know. I mean, if you really want to dwell into why he did it, I'm sure. Well, you're never gonna really find the answer out either.

SPEAKER_01

No, but you're gonna get the families who go, Well, they never really got along.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, right. You know?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, for a while.

SPEAKER_00

All right, I'm gonna take you somewhere. This is a weird thing because I don't understand exactly how the music industry works. Okay. Okay. You get all right, so you can understand why a Taylor Swift is enormous, okay? She has mastered the art of maneuvering the uh music industry. Even back in the days, and I used to preach this. I said, you know, I don't want to hear her crying and whining about the fact that she sold her catalog or whatever the case may have been. Because in the beginning, a lot of artists will sell their soul to become famous, right? And then if you regret it later, just say, I regret what I did, but I wanted to get where I am, so now I gotta deal with it. That's about the only thing that I can say about her career that I'm like, come on, let's get real.

SPEAKER_01

And also I think it's so funny because because it's Taylor, so many people came to her side and said, Well, you know, it is her writing, it is her stuff, it is well, yeah. You sold it.

SPEAKER_00

You sold your soul to the devil because you wanted to be famous. Well, you made it, and okay, you figured out the way to fix it. Now, another artist who had had multiple times where they were at the top, Lizzo. Now, there have been, and and I understand also in the music industry, certain things can, well, in any level of the entertainment industry, certain things can get you either on the hold list or you're blacklisted. I believe Lizzo somehow got put on a hold list because somebody complained that she was being a little raunchy with a tour. Do you remember this?

SPEAKER_01

Yes, oh yeah, yeah. It was her staff members that she was basically having them um not like perform full sexual acts, but being like you were saying, it was crossing the line. I'm your employee, and you're asking me to do X, Y, and Z.

SPEAKER_00

It's why we don't do Take the Pole Tuesday Alley anymore.

SPEAKER_01

Exactly.

SPEAKER_00

I mean, that had to happen about 16 years ago.

SPEAKER_01

Exactly.

SPEAKER_00

And so since then you installed it, the whole thing left, the mirror ball's gone. It's a shame. It's really a shame.

SPEAKER_01

It really but it it really did it hurt her career.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, she hasn't been the same since. She even said that. She goes, it was soul crushing to find out that her album, which basically none of us have heard about, it's called B-Word, didn't even chart on the Billboard 200. And I don't believe it's because Lizzo put out turds, because Lizzo put out jams back then. Oh my gosh, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

And she even, like, you know, you had like uh birthday girl. What was the other one that's? Oh my gosh, she had so many.

SPEAKER_00

I mean, uh, but then you do a little bit of searching, and there's uh there is a song on there that's actually really good. It's called Good Morning, and I thought I'd play it for you. Just a treat, a little piece of it.

SPEAKER_01

Good morning! Time to get your good. It's funny.

SPEAKER_00

Today I'm live with Kelly and her stupid tooth wiping husband.

SPEAKER_01

You got a perfect day, you got something to do.

unknown

Okay now, open open to go.

SPEAKER_00

See, this is why I don't get the music industry. This is fun to get the morning started. And yet nobody's heard of it unless you go searching. Oh, here we go.

SPEAKER_01

No time asleep. These fantasies keep dropping me wow. I'm living out my destiny, child.

SPEAKER_00

Life off the code. Don't miss Cheryl Crow online with Kelly and her stupid tooth wiping husband.

SPEAKER_01

It's cute.

SPEAKER_00

It's really cute. There you go.

SPEAKER_01

It reminds me of, and I've told this story a thousand times. My brother used to have a song that was programmed on his like it was before cell phones, so it must have been on his alarm or something, on his stereo. And so every single morning he would wake up to Bone Thugs in Harmony, where they would go, Wake up, wake up, wake up. It's the first of the month. Get up, get up, get up.
