Okay, I need to come back to this for just a second here because I'm I your whole unveiling of how this played out, where this guy, this Scorseman, uh, you know, let's say it was 20 years ago. Am I pretty close to that? Is that was it a long time prior?

SPEAKER_00

It was about 20 years ago.

SPEAKER_01

So about 20 years ago.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, wait, they said the actual year.

SPEAKER_01

Well, let's pretend for this sake, argument's sake. 20 years ago. He's out partying with his friends. All right, let's say the guy's in his 40s now. He was young 20s when he was out.

SPEAKER_00

Him and his brother are actually partying.

SPEAKER_01

Stupid, you know, stupid things that you do. Friend or brother, whatever, and he's out. He ended up drinking and driving. He ended up hitting somebody who was on a bike, and then a guy who was doing a charity bike run. Then that person who didn't die at the moment, they went back and then realized, oh, he's still alive, leave him alonger. Uh, and then essentially. Nobody told anybody. These guys never admitted anything, never shared, you know, uh, oh, we did this, you know, or whatever. Obviously, fear comes into play in something like that because you go into panic mode, you you realize, hey, I was doing a drinking and driving, and then two, you know, I I hit somebody. Oh my god.

SPEAKER_00

And then you bury the guy on your property. Okay. So and then you tell your new girlfriend that you met on Tinder.

SPEAKER_01

Now, here's the thing. Who you're gonna marry. My feeling on this is different because he never paid for the crime. If he would have paid his dues, let's say, you know, they got him right away, yeah, and he was away, let's say he was he was sentenced to 25 years, he and his brother, and good behavior got out on 20, and he's rebuilding his life.

SPEAKER_00

I know somebody who uh my parents are friends with that is is out of jail now because he he was charged of murder. Yeah. I can't say that he definitely did it, but you know, I mean, if you're charged- You no, no, no, no, no.

SPEAKER_01

Just because they're friends with your parents doesn't mean he's not a murderer. Okay. If you got charged with murder, what's Allie Payne's motto? You a killer.

SPEAKER_00

They're a murderer. You're a murderer. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Actually, you're a murderer before you're there. Is no innocent until proven guilty in your mind. You are guilty until you're dead. We're gonna come back to that in a second, too. Maybe. Uh, but uh, but here's the thing. Because this my feeling on it is really this because he never paid any dues up until that point, and then she turned around 20 plus years later, whatever, blew him in. Um, honestly, she did the right thing. She did. He did not, he did not atone for his sins. Now, maybe personally he did. Maybe he personally, you know, uh had to do a lot to uh, you know, to move forward. But if he had paid the dues for the crime and then was rebuilding his life, I think I'd have a different opinion about this. But now the way you told it, where he never did, no, sorry. You gotta go away to jail now.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, well, especially because I I think like be you hit it and have tried to cover it up your whole life. Like, what else are you really capable of?

SPEAKER_01

I don't think you need to go any higher than this. Like, you've already killed somebody.

SPEAKER_00

What else is there?

SPEAKER_01

Well, there's only child pornography.

SPEAKER_00

Okay, child pornography and puppy beating is like you're right up there. Right, exactly. Okay, now that's all right.

SPEAKER_01

Now you want to go backwards because everybody in your mind is guilty. They're just always guilty.

SPEAKER_00

So the other day, I had Sonia and her husband over, and then me and Zach. And we were talking about somebody we know who we were we all collectively said, oh, we think this person got uh that that they got charged with there was some porn distribution, let's just say. And I said, I'm pretty sure they did. And so as soon as we looked up the article, because of course I'm like, you know, hitting up ENY.

SPEAKER_01

Give me one minute, I'll have the answer.

SPEAKER_00

I like look up ENY and ETM and all that stuff right away. And I was like, see, look, it happened. And Song is like, okay, first of all, yes, the charges were against him, but we don't know if that actually came to fruition. She goes, I don't want you to be on any jury. I said, He this guy, this guy did not get away with it. And she goes, just because they're charged. I'm like, I get that, but this this homie is guilty, okay?

SPEAKER_01

You're judging that book totally by its cover.

SPEAKER_00

And she's like, Ellie, that's not how it works.

SPEAKER_01

I'm like, come on, and guys and in turn, just because a former murderer, well, you're still a murderer, you did the deed, is friends with your parents, does not mean that person is changed. I don't care how many times they found God. Go over here to the hill. Every morning they're finding God all over again. Usually screaming it when they're in the shower, but that's here nor there.
