Oh, we're getting there. Yes, we are. I have to say, this is really sweet. Oh, what's that? 4441 said, Good morning, Miss Payne. Is everything good with Mama Payne? Yesterday I'd mentioned on the show that my mom was getting back surgery yesterday. Oh, that's right. That's really sweet. That that's the first thing you texted this morning. That is just so I just love that. Well, I love that. What is the update? She's doing really well. And they gave her some oxygen and she went to bed.

SPEAKER_01

Well, that'll do it.

SPEAKER_00

They ended up going into like two different places on her back. She had back surgery yesterday.

SPEAKER_01

Oh man.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, they went into two different places and she said she was already feeling better in her back and her legs because it was it was uh causing her difficulty walking, and which is weird because she's a super mobile person.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

And they it was weird also because they had her go in at 8 15 in Utah goes before a surgery. You can't eat or drink anything.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

They ended up getting delayed. She didn't get into surgery until one o'clock.

SPEAKER_01

Okay. This is a trend. So late in the show yesterday, along with your mom, we found out that, you know, a very active listener and uh many year longtime friend of mine, Heather, ended up having to go for emergency gallbladder removal.

SPEAKER_00

Yes, I messaged her yesterday.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, she uh I'm I'm pretty sure she's pretty out of it. So Dan had texted me this, her husband. Oh, it again, it was later in the show. Like we we talked about your mom early, like right around now. We were like, oh, this is part of the day. Then we find out later this is going on. So uh it it happened that she didn't even get into surgery till three. Last update I got from Dan yesterday. So again, you know, they were there from early morning until finally surgery. However, uh I I left it with Dan.

SPEAKER_00

I said, well, probably What kind of an emergency was it? Yeah, right. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Well, how booked is the ORs? I mean, is everybody having something done? You know? So uh the let the the most I know right now is is that she was in surgery and that uh likely they were gonna dope her up and she'd be sleeping most of the night. So uh we'll probably get an update today. Just ironic, like a couple people were pretty close to both of them in surgery yesterday.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, I messaged her probably around that time, which is so funny because I had just left the gym uh uh okay, so it was probably four. I had just left the gym.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, she was under the knife.

SPEAKER_00

Yes, I had just left the gym and I you know, I just thought about her. So I I thought, well, let me send her a quick message. And when I had my gallbladder surgery, but mine wasn't an emergency. Yeah. Mine was booked. I mean, I to me it felt like an emergency. Yeah, and they had to go. But but but mine was booked a week after I was having some really, really uh difficult situations going on with that. Yeah. So when I got out, I was like, can I have some I wanted, I remember I wanted the mixed fruit from Wegmans. I ended up having steak, which actually is not supposed to be. Oh, that's it.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, right.

SPEAKER_00

But it was what I was craving. I don't know why. I've had three surgeries in the past 10 years and or 11-ish years. And every single time that I have a surgery, I always crave the Wegmans fruit salad. Oh, that's interesting. Isn't it? It's so weird.

SPEAKER_01

I do I mean, I do love an already cut-up salad that I don't have to do the effort for except raising it to my mouth.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, exactly.

SPEAKER_01

Speaking of surgeries, since we're starting all medical, uh, Frank and Pete are home after their nuts got lobbed off.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, how how are they doing? I mean, do they Oh excellent.

SPEAKER_01

Excuse me, welcome to the lounge. Like to thank you for joining us here today. Is there a way that we could have someone come up here and lay on the piano while I tickle it with my ivory bone? Oh and you know what? I like playing the piano with no hands. You know what I'm playing with? That's right.

SPEAKER_00

I like that you have to say it like we know as if we wouldn't know. Here we go.

SPEAKER_01

Oh it's Thursday, and the lounge is open. Have a Manhattan, will you? Take care of your bartenders and waitresses. They're here to serve you.

SPEAKER_00

You know, we got on the docket today there, Mr. Free Daddy.

SPEAKER_01

I can't believe I'm letting the piano play on the TV. Keep going.

SPEAKER_00

We have some we have some gift certificates to the wholesome cafe.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, the wholesome cafe here at the lounge. That's what we like to call it, the wholesome cafe.

SPEAKER_00

We also have uh oh, plastic surgery with a five year old.

SPEAKER_01

If you'll look to your left, a lovely lady walked in with dark hair and a leopard suit. Her name is Allie Payne.

SPEAKER_00

And did you ever get an invoice from a neighbor? Well, we've got that for you, too.

SPEAKER_01

I'll come it up here at the lounge, ladies and gentlemen.
