Oh my gosh! This is a really good fact talk. You gotta play this. You gotta play this.
SPEAKER_02I will totally play this. So let me let me let me bring people up to speed here. So you're in the Gus Macker on Friday, 6 o'clock, which by the way, when you are at the Gus Macker, 6 o'clock on Friday. Mega Hito 2.0.
SPEAKER_01It's gonna be hot.
SPEAKER_02It's you're gonna be uh you're gonna be a drippy mess.
SPEAKER_01It's on the corner of Church in Maine, right in front of Empire Sports, and they're they're closing the street down. Anyone can come watch. Please do watch.
SPEAKER_02You can't drive through Elmyra, so this is nothing new. They're closing the street down. I mean, it's like good luck getting anywhere.
SPEAKER_01Watch me embarrass myself. That's all I gotta say. Because one of my opposing teammates just DM'd me and she goes, I just heard you talking, smack talking. By the way, Faith is carrying our team. Faith is the little third grader prodigy.
SPEAKER_02She's off limits, okay? I'm just I'm gonna put it this way because unless you want to be hated, uh she's off limits, okay? She's the little star of the whole event. Oh, yeah. Um, so you leave her alone.
SPEAKER_01Well, except for I'm gonna hold the basketball as high as I can above her.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, watch.
SPEAKER_01Because I said to Emmy, the only thing that I'm carrying is water bottles for this team. I ain't carrying this team at all.
SPEAKER_02Let me just explain also, you wanted to smack talk. You were looking for lines uh to be able to smack talk. And and based on the reaction we're getting, which is you know, just a few people, I think everyone's going, yeah, maybe Zach is right on this one. Maybe don't go all in with the hardcore smack talking. But if you do find the opportunity, you could use what uh was just sent over from uh 38 uh 36. They sent you this in.
SPEAKER_00My grandmother can guard better than that, and she's in a wheelchair.
SPEAKER_01How about this one? Uh he's a three-point shooter, but he ain't three no three-point maker. Hey! I like that.
SPEAKER_02See, I got a better idea. Can you um uh give us uh some basketball music, perhaps, here? Um what I was thinking was maybe this would be easier if we why can I not hear it? Oh, I don't I don't I don't know. Uh oh, here, let me push that for you. There you go. Uh maybe, maybe what we do is we reverse this and let people come up with lines to smack talk you. Because I really love this. You had actually said you're doing you saved the best for last. This is not necessarily radio station or Scott Nally show endorsed. It just happens to be you're with the Scott and Alley show. This is actually more so through your church that asked you to do it.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, my pastor came up to me, and of course, he says, he goes, Ellie, I see you travel a lot.
SPEAKER_02Oh, see what he did there? Yeah, that's a basketball.
SPEAKER_01I follow you on Instagram. Are you gonna be in town July 17th? I want you to be on my team.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_01And I look at my calendar, oh, I'm in town. And of course, the first the first thought was like, oh no. Yeah. Oh no. But then he's like one of those guys that he loves the community so much that you go, I gotta.
SPEAKER_02Well, he loves it so much he's not actually playing, he's making you play. But I was thinking, he's just a coach. If we uh if we were to smack talk, if we were to if we were yeah, right, if we were to smack talk you, uh, you know, and we now know that it's for your church, and we know it's gonna be, you know, hotter than you know what, be like, she's sweating on the court like a jerk.
SPEAKER_01I was thinking something like she's got a pretty mouth, but not pretty basketball skills. I don't know. I don't know. No, okay.
SPEAKER_02No, I'm gonna but if we can, let's let's get some smack talks for Allie. That takes the awkwardness of accidentally slipping it out and laying it on the third grader, but and you know, then you're gonna feel guilty and you'll come walking in on Monday, you're gonna be wimping, something's gonna happen. I know something's gonna happen.
SPEAKER_01The third grader won't be crying because she's probably gonna annihilate me. Well, right.
SPEAKER_02So But you know, you don't want to piss off the parents. I mean, I leave that to me.
SPEAKER_01Right, totally. Well, okay, if you have any smack talkings for me, bring them. Bring them. I'll take it.
SPEAKER_02One, two, one, you're listening to Scott and Allie. Scott and Allie's big three.
SPEAKER_01Uh, President Trump warned that Marshall is listening, by the way.
SPEAKER_02Your teammate.
SPEAKER_01No, he's not my teammate. He's my competition. Who's your competition? Yes, yes.
SPEAKER_02Remember, you dribble more uh out of your mouth than you do the ball.
SPEAKER_01Yes, Scott's gonna reuse that same one over and over. That's all I got. That's all I got. President Trump warned that the United States would, quote, decimate and destroy Iran if it tried to assassinate him. He wrote this on Truth Social Friday, saying, orders have already been given, and the U.S. military is ready, willing, and able to completely decimate and destroy all areas of Iran. And a major housing bill became law at midnight Saturday after President Trump declined to sign or veto it. The 21st Century Road to Housing Act aims to expand housing supply, modernize building standards, and restrict private equity purchases of single-family homes. And then one last quickie for you is the world's tallest, fastest, and longest water roller coaster opened at Six Flags in Texas. They say th thrill shakers. Yes.
SPEAKER_02Isn't it like a flume ride? Like the lawn ride?
SPEAKER_01I watched the video. I didn't see a lot of water. I don't know if it just like sprays every once in a while, which you know, on a hot day, kind of not a bad move. Right, exactly, exactly. Oh, you know, I told you I'd I'd tell you about the Seattle Seahawks. I'll do that too. The Seattle Seahawks have been sold to a group led by Vinod Kosla for a record $9.612 billion. Yes, the deal must still be approved by current owners during a special meeting, and but that's not till late August. We'll get back to that later. There you go.
SPEAKER_02I have more on that. Interesting. I heard the uh previous owner. This actually, I gotta credit Doug for this. He just sent this. Uh he bought the team for $200 million in 1997, sold it now for $9 billion. His will directed that his um sports franchises be divested with the proceeds going to charity. There is going to be $9 billion going to charity. That's amazing. By the way, since Marshall's listening, we did get to walk through the uh Elmira uh street painting festival on Saturday. Yes. It was really, really, really, really cool. I mean, the the art was awesome. The dust cloud, as I was picking up my dinner from Beijing Garden that night when they reopened the road, was also quite hilarious. I'm like, why is it so cloudy down here? I'm like, oh yes, people are driving on Main Street again.
SPEAKER_01What about okay, for Marshall? What about yo, Marshall, you still putting up bricks? What is this? A Mason's convention? Okay. Or your defender's a ghost.
SPEAKER_02I can't see him anywhere.
SPEAKER_01Okay. Okay, okay, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_02Not mine, that's somebody that texted that.
