I uh want to address a text from 3386, the official ball buster of the Scott and Alley show, aka Doug. And he goes, uh, the uh quote unquote infotainment show question mark. And I said, Well, I this is my thought on this. Uh-huh. We're gonna tell you things that you can literally walk away from going, you know, I heard that on Scott and Alley, but Google the facts. Sure. So we'll give you the piece of it. You figure out the rest on your own.

SPEAKER_00

They're they're loose. You know, they're it's kind of like AI sometimes because you know it's not quite right. But not really wrong either. Right, exactly. It like kind of gets you in the space. It takes you, it gives you pieces of oh yeah, I heard something about that.

SPEAKER_01

And then you go, okay, well, maybe I should get the rest a little bit later.

SPEAKER_00

Well, then I'll give you one of those. Yeah. Remember last week we were talking about it here's exactly how it started. I remember it vividly, which is shocking. Uh we were talking about it. We were talking about birthday buddies, and it was Tom Hanks' birthday last week, and we had mentioned that there was a listener who had the same birthday as Tom Hanks. Well then, and then we also sang the birthday song. So then you you had mentioned, like, oh, you remember a certain Tom Hanks era. Oh yes. Toy Story and or a League of Their Own or Joe meets the volcano or whatever.

SPEAKER_01

Right. Or Joe versus the Volcano.

SPEAKER_00

So one of the ones that I referenced was Sully. Yes. Tom Hanks played Sully in a movie, uh, I don't know, 10 years ago or something like that.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, it's been a minute.

SPEAKER_00

Sully, the actual real pilot, just revealed that he has Alzheimer's.

SPEAKER_01

You know, I watched this last night too, and it's interesting because, you know, he's I think he's like 70 now. Uh and he is 75. Okay. Uh it like I said, you know, you might want to Google that. Yeah, exactly. But we're getting you close.

SPEAKER_00

Exactly.

SPEAKER_01

Uh he he had a great message about this. He goes, Oh, what did he say? He goes, uh uh, I have joined the oh, how did he say it? It was like I've joined the community of people that uh have been diagnosed with this and uh will continue to be an advocate. But the guy's been in a very inspiring um figure in a number of areas since he had the miracle on the Hudson.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, so he's taken that and used it as his platform.

SPEAKER_01

That's his his thing. He's he's been in front of Congress trying to advocate for better uh air safety and things like that. He's done all these things. Nice. Uh, and he's a hero. I mean, the guy is genuinely like one of these true American heroes.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, yeah. Do you know how many lives he saved that day? Yeah. I don't know.

SPEAKER_01

I would have to Google that.

SPEAKER_00

Everyone, every one of them, not one of them died. Well, that's exactly right.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

So he did something that, if you don't know, he landed the plane in the Hudson.

SPEAKER_01

15 years ago, mind you.

SPEAKER_00

2009. Was that 15 years ago?

SPEAKER_01

And uh so at any rate, it it's one of these things that he they say he's going to, as long as he's capable, he will be an advocate for this. And I think that's great. For Alzheimer's. For Alzheimer's. Well, yeah. Yes.

SPEAKER_00

I didn't I well, I wasn't sure because you said he had multiple platforms that he's.

SPEAKER_01

Well, well, he's already been an advocate for those. So now he's he said he's gonna be that. Yeah, and I think that's great. I mean, that that is a God, condition, disease, what do you call it? Okay. Uh that is something that always needs to be spoken loudly about uh because you you know they're getting closer. Like there is a medication out there now that does wonders to extend your cognitive ability, but we're still they don't have the magic elixir yet.

SPEAKER_00

Please do it during my lifetime. Wouldn't that be?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, actually, we're forgotten about two weeks because I can't believe you remembered that topic from last week.

SPEAKER_00

Uh only because I listened to it on demand. Oh, dang. Yes. Speaking of remembering things, I'm gonna bring something up in a minute that it was from your childhood. You played it on the playground, but I don't quite remember the rules.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, well, let's see if we can remember together.
