My gosh, it's already Tuesday.
SPEAKER_01I know. I know. I feel really good.
SPEAKER_00We're over. Did you get sleep last night? Because I know yesterday you had said you you didn't appear to be tired to me.
SPEAKER_01Oh, I was so off yesterday. Oh, you seemed so funny. I was not well. And part of that was not well. I wasn't. And part of that was I bartended a wedding over the weekend and it really took it out of me. Now, I I just want to let you know, we're gonna talk about this wedding on the Not for Air podcast. Yes. But it's not coming out till next Tuesday. But it's amazing It's a worthwhile wait. Right. It's one of those things where you want to listen to the podcast. Oh, somebody came up to me at Gus Macker and said that they listened to the podcast, albeit a little bit younger. And I thought, oh.
SPEAKER_00Very good. Maybe.
SPEAKER_01Also.
SPEAKER_00How young?
SPEAKER_01Uh probably like 13. I know. That's how I got it.
SPEAKER_00You gotta leave certain decisions up to parents on what they find acceptable. I know.
SPEAKER_01And I as soon as she said, as soon as she said podcast, I got a little critic.
SPEAKER_00Like, were you were you listening to On Demand, where you can go back and hear segments of the show? Because that's there by design. You know, you you take it in when you can.
SPEAKER_01I kind of was hoping because I think it was the latest podcast where we talked about what season do you get the friskiest? Like, do you get frisky in summer? And so that was the first segment I thought of when she was like, I listened to your podcast.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, because uh the reason for it to be the not for her podcast is you can go a little further, a lot further, than uh what we do right here. Speaking of going further, thank God I wasn't too far from the bathroom yesterday. I was beginning to think, oh my god. Siglespora! Uh yes, I thought, oh my God, I had a salad the other day. And I did throw, I threw out a bag. I had to throw it out anyway. It was past its uh prime. But I threw out a bag. So Sam's Club and them are selling Taylor Farms uh chopped salad. That one the other day. Not chopped salad like the, you know, the kits, I'm not as big into salad kits because it's always coleslaw or not coleslaw, it's always cabbage. Cabbage.
SPEAKER_01And I'm like, oh, that's what I like. Uh see, I'm trying to burble it up.
SPEAKER_00I like well, that'll clean you out too.
SPEAKER_01I'm trying to get cyclespore over here.
SPEAKER_00That's like sweeping it out of your system. But do you ever notice every salad kit? Rotor rootering. Totally. Every salad kit, unless it's a Caesar salad where they can't avoid putting lettuce or romaine in it, they're always cabbage kits. And it's like sometimes I like to have just a lettuce.
SPEAKER_01I got the Southwest one last week. And I I don't know if it was you. Somebody commented, like, oh, taking it, taking it in your own hands, huh?
SPEAKER_00Like, yeah, why not? So I had one that was the chopped uh, you know, it was just the um uh iceberg lettuce. And I'm like, well, it's already past its prime, it's gotta go anyway. But I looked at it's liquidy. And I I don't know if anybody else is doing yeah, right. There's a couple pieces, you're like, oh, I'm not drinking that.
SPEAKER_01Right.
SPEAKER_00Has anybody else started looking at the packages going, nope, Taylor Farms not doing that? I was surprised that they're still carrying that.
SPEAKER_01Actually, so since we're here, the FDA says a lettuce sample from Taylor Farms we know yesterday was a false positive. However, their investigation is pointing to that. Was it shredded? Was it shredded?
SPEAKER_00No, this was just regular, you know, because they have caught up.
SPEAKER_01They're pointing to shredded iceberg lettuce from Taylor Farms still, yeah, but in central Mexico. So it wasn't it it's not like it's um I mean it's still present, you know, as far as like Taylor Farms being the the culprit.
SPEAKER_00Unless, yeah, because a false positive is not a clear negative. You know what I mean? Um and and unless you go to the Ithaca Farm Market or one of the farm markets around here, I don't know where exactly it's shipped in. I don't know where Sam's gets their boxes from. I'm not pointing a bad finger at Sam's. I'm just telling you, I have become observant of who the supplier is when I'm looking at stuff.
SPEAKER_01Now that maybe sometimes it's Dole, sometimes it's Taylor.
SPEAKER_00That being said, I think I have not cyclospora, a bit of a lactose intolerance.
SPEAKER_01No.
SPEAKER_00Only a bit. Let me explain why. So we had a yes, so we had a very quick doctor's appointment for Gavin yesterday. He just had to get his hearing check. And I want to let you know.
SPEAKER_01Did you go to Oh, maybe I shouldn't ask. Guthrie.
SPEAKER_00Okay, I went there too. The side building next next to the hospital? Yeah, member. And you sit in the sound booth, which is nicer than the studio. Yeah. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Remember when I was having hearing issues a couple years ago?
SPEAKER_00What? I'm sorry, I'm kidding. Yes, I do.
SPEAKER_01I really thought he didn't hear me. Anyway, yeah. Yeah. So it was lovely. And it's so, it's so quiet.
SPEAKER_00Oh, I don't know. I wasn't in the soundproof booth. I'm like, nah, you know, I do that enough all day. So uh at any rate, uh, I'm proud to announce that Gavin has perfect selective hearing.
SPEAKER_01So that was the same with me when I went.
SPEAKER_00Oh, I've known you've had selective hearing and it's been perfect for years.
SPEAKER_01They said there's nothing wrong with your hearing. I'm like, no, but really, there it sounds like I'm in a pool.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_01No, your hearing is actually really good. I'm like, You're losing it. But okay, let me ask you, do you think it might be an allergy thing?
SPEAKER_00No, no, it's it's it's just selective. He figured out he gets very selective, yeah. No, he gets when he gets excited about a video or something he watches, it cranks up. It's like everybody has to hear it, whether you had planned to or not.
SPEAKER_01So that's me with a song. Um, if you see me down 8617 and my hands waving out the air.
SPEAKER_00Well, shocker, you're not 12 anymore. So, you know, it was a little concerning, you know. I was, but now I've figured out no, it's when he gets excited.
SPEAKER_01Sometimes you're just feeling the vibe.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, right, exactly. And I don't understand any of the vibes of the videos he watches, here nor there. Back to the cyclospora of what why I thought that. Yeah. So as we're leaving, coming up 352, I said, You guys want ice cream? And they're like, Oh, of course! Yes. So we stopped at Weird Walters. Now, oh, I love that place. Oh my gosh, the ice cream there is excellent, but you have to be prepared. It's very rich. It comes from a special farm in Pennsylvania.
SPEAKER_01It's like a mini um, what do they call it? A micro creamery.
SPEAKER_00So I ended up getting, I should have just gotten one scoop. I ended up getting two scoops. And I got through it, and within about an hour and a half, I had to get through it again. If you know what I mean, because and that's when I realized I'm like, well, that's the only thing I've eaten. And it was only one time, so it wasn't like, you know, a Taylor Farms uh explosive thing.
SPEAKER_01You're gonna have to go for like the Dole Whip now.
SPEAKER_00I th no, I think maybe cut back a bit instead of two scoops, go with one. Okay. But that was for me. I was like, because it doesn't hit me when I when I have cereal. Uh that doesn't bother me. Um what about cheese? Nope, cheese doesn't bother me. It's the real rich, rich ice cream. And that is, that is that's a powerful ice cream.
SPEAKER_01Not that I don't care about your diarrhea, but what flavor did you get?
SPEAKER_00Uh oh, it was a mint chocolate crumble. So it had Oreos in the mint chocolate. Oh, yeah, it was good.
SPEAKER_01The s'mores one, top tier. I have that. That one's my favorite. I love it.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, it see, me with peanut butter, no. Me with marshmallows, no. So it it's just not my not my thing. But I it was still amazing all the way, all the way through the two scoops. I'm like, I love this.
SPEAKER_01Uh-huh.
SPEAKER_00And then later on I realized I didn't.
SPEAKER_01But Okay, back to Gavin, though. Oh, yeah. So he it it never sounds muffled though.
SPEAKER_00Because it's it's not that at all. It's just we thought because he'd play his iPad real loud or a TV from time to time or a device. We're thinking, like, i is there a little bit of a hearing thing, and sometimes he'll talk real loud. Well, that's genetics. Look at his father. I know. I mean, I can't walk through the house and not be like, Hi No offense, but I feel like this is kind of a waste of a doctor's appointment.
SPEAKER_01I kind of feel it too.
SPEAKER_00But you know what? You can say it was checked out, so
