Possibly thunderstorms later today. This is the one day this week that it could possibly happen and they could be a little bit strong.
SPEAKER_02And are we just at like 73?
SPEAKER_01Uh yeah, it well today we'll go into the 80s. Uh tomorrow is it tomorrow that's 73? 75. Yeah, that's like a front going through. 75, 77. Then by Friday we're back to 82. So an 85 on Saturday. It's gonna be really, really uh just great after today. I mean, and and no guarantee today's gonna wash you out.
SPEAKER_02Okay, back to the miracle whip thing. This is what 3386 says. Basically, a few weeks past its expiration date, but unopened. I said, absolutely not. I'm really concerned about what 4441 puts in their mouth. Still okay to use if it's not watery or green. No, no, there's a smell that comes before watery and green. There's a turning point before watery and green. I'm really concerned for you.
SPEAKER_01There's a big turning point before watery and green. And you know what?
SPEAKER_02This is exactly why, not to get on you, but this is exactly why we don't eat listener food.
SPEAKER_01Because your standards are not necessarily, uh, shall we say, FDA approved. That's right.
SPEAKER_02How about that? That's a great way to put it.
SPEAKER_01Now I come back over to Mike. He says, eat the miracle whip. It'll get rid of someone who thinks miracle whip is food. There's there's a common thread here against miracle whip. So 3386, prepare for the hate. I just want to say that.
SPEAKER_02I also like the who the hell buys miracle whip. That's what I'm getting at. Yes.
SPEAKER_01Sorry, I'm not a miracle whip person either. I want I want mayonnaise. Uh let's see. Oh, this is a great one from Kathy. It said, uh, haven't you ever watched American Housewives? It's in the buffer zone.
SPEAKER_02The buffer zone. No, it's not a buffer zone I'm messing with. Oh, God. Like, I'll mess with like certain things in the buffer zone. Like it might even be a burger that you got at a restaurant and it's still like, I don't know, five days in the fridge.
SPEAKER_01Oh, that's well past the the the buffer zone.
SPEAKER_0248 hours. Oh no, no, no. Oh no, no. There's the buffer zone.
SPEAKER_01Day five, um, you know, you said the words best yourself moments ago. What? I question your eating habits, like when you were saying why we don't eat listeners' foods. Now, listen, I am so sorry. Yesterday we were gonna talk to you. We didn't get a chance to. As they say on the big program, you got bumped, but you said you'd come back early. Explain to Allie what you are going through and why you're feeling the way you are.
SPEAKER_00Hey, so I want to get your thoughts on this. So I've been chatting with this guy for a little bit, and he asked me out on a first date, and he said he wanted to do what he called an urban picnic. So I thought, okay, that's actually kind of different. But then he picked a park that's like 45 minutes from my house and only like two minutes from his. So I suggested a couple places that were more halfway, and then he comes back with another spot that's basically still in his neighborhood. Like it was a little closer, but not by much. And so then he tells me, he'll bring the alcohol if I bring the food. And I don't even really know why that bothered me so much, but it did. Um, it's not about the money, because I don't mind paying for things, but to make me bring food to our own date just seems completely lame. I mean, we could go walk around a free museum or grab coffee, like I really don't care if we spend money or not. And yeah, he's bringing alcohol, but I don't even drink, and I definitely wouldn't on a first date. Not that he knows that, but the main issue is I'm 40 years old, I have two kids, my free time's pretty limited, and I guess I just appreciate when somebody's thoughtful about that, and it just feels like he's asking me to do all this driving and bring half the date with me. So now I don't even want to go anymore. Like maybe I'm reading too much into it because yeah, it's only a first date, but it's like first impressions matter, and this one just feels kind of low effort to me, you know. So yeah, I just wanted to see what the ladies think about driving like 40 something minutes and bringing food. Like, should I just go and see what happens, or should I just cancel the whole thing?
SPEAKER_02I've got a perfect answer for this. Cancel it.
SPEAKER_01Oh, because I was gonna say 45 minutes in this area, not the most uncommon thing. We we live in a spread out air or area.
SPEAKER_02Oh no, you're gonna cancel it because two things. I assume that there's been some conversation beforehand, which means he's really not that interested to make any efforts towards you. Also, it was two different locations close to his house.
SPEAKER_01Oh, I thought he was trying to get you back to his house after.
SPEAKER_02Oh no, I was thinking he was just a lazy ass. And so he d he's not gonna take a lot of effort. Even on the first date, he can't m meet you halfway. Cancel the whole thing.
SPEAKER_01Really?
SPEAKER_02Mm-hmm. I don't waste your time.
SPEAKER_01Let's let's So you you're not so much on the drive part, are you? Because this is like saying I'm gonna drive from Corning to Hornell.
SPEAKER_02It's it's not necessarily the drive, it's that both times were places that were close to his house, it's what's convenient for him. Also makes him selfish. So now I got some of the things.
SPEAKER_01Makes me think he's gonna try to get her, slip her a couple of drinks and be like, well, come back to my place. You know, you're 40 and have two kids. I'm sure the options aren't knocking real hard at the at the old front door.
SPEAKER_02So selfish, lazy, and also horny? Okay, yes. That too. That too. But because of those reasons, I say cancel.
SPEAKER_01Okay, you go cancel. Anybody want to add to this? Because uh the only the only thing that uh I could see where he could uh maybe I'm reading too far in and giving him credit. I could see where he suggests she brings the food because perhaps there's certain things that she can eat that he might not, you know. I don't know, right? He goes gets a bucket of fried chicken and she's just had her gallbladder out and she's vegan. That's better. The gallbladder, but you know, fatty foods. So I don't know. I mean, I could have seen that. And and to me, 45 minutes is like I'm not gonna lie to you, that is not uncommon. That's driving from Corning to the to Sarah.
SPEAKER_02It's not, but she just said she has some kids. So you're right. What kind of time does she have probably not probably not a ton? So now that's a third reason. Cancel it. Okay. That was easy.
