It is gonna be a gorgeous week from here on out and all the way through till Sunday night when you're not gonna care if it rains because it'll be Sunday night and you'll be done with your weekend.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, exactly, because this is a busy, busy, busy, busy week.
SPEAKER_02There is a lot going on. Odessa Community Days, you will be there on Saturday. Then we head over to the track for Grid Life. And uh it is check, check. It is going to be uh it is going to be it's just a crazy weekend. And that's only our schedule, and hopefully you'll come join us at some of those things. Please do. There's a lot that goes on, but I I do want to come over to this. Man, I feel bad for Jacob. He just texted. He goes, uh, I hate the construction on 64. I go to the gym at Planet Fitness uh really early. What?
SPEAKER_03Getting swole?
SPEAKER_02Yes. Uh he goes every day really early. Uh, and I have to get the uh go to the he has to get on the highway now. It's a whole different route.
SPEAKER_03Uh just live on 352.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. I don't know what I don't know what you're gonna do.
SPEAKER_03I pretty much have to take a longer route for the next at least five weeks while they work on that bridge.
SPEAKER_02That's very conservative. I strangely feel like that is going to somehow take longer. And this bridge is a you wouldn't have even known that it was a bridge.
SPEAKER_03I said to Scott, it's gonna be like, well, and not that I don't have the confidence of the construction crew, but anytime you do construction, and I mean anytime, it doesn't matter if you're the best or the worst, it's going to take longer. Every single time. Something comes up. We have a contractor, Bo, our contractor, he'll come and do something, and it might be extended an extra day or two just because something comes up. Things happen. Oh, the who's he what's it was uh cut wrong on the previous owner or whatever. We were also talking about how dads just uh you don't even know what the heck is going on. Well, we do sort of, but it's no you don't my dad doesn't know any of my friends' names. And anytime I would talk to him about anything, he'd be like, this is what I hear. Blah, blah, blah. The fact that he told you that. I know.
SPEAKER_02I actually know. I I have to tell you, I I appreciate his honesty. I know I've started I I've I've fallen into this trap. I told you how Gavin is into certain anime and he gets very excited about something, and he'll tell me what happened on the Ichiru kaija.
SPEAKER_03Um, I think we we know what it is. A listener said 1835 jujitsu kaizen.
SPEAKER_02Okay, Jennifer, don't feed the beast here, okay? Um, but uh they uh, you know, whatever it is. And I I mean I genuinely I I I pull the uh-huh. Yup. I'm super interested. You know, I like okay.
SPEAKER_03How come Gail knows everyone's name and what I'm doing?
SPEAKER_02She's nosy. And that's where you got it from.
SPEAKER_03Okay, I'm gonna do it.
SPEAKER_02That's exactly where that but back to the whole dad thing here. Your dad, where he literally admitted to you one day, all I hear is blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. I've literally told Gavin with some of his videos because I told you how weird they are. Like, there's always these super short videos, and then something screams at you. It's like a jump scare every video. Uh and and I I look at him, I'm like, I don't get it. I literally started saying it. I don't I don't get it.
SPEAKER_03And that's okay, because like parents, you're kind of not supposed to.
SPEAKER_02Well, some but some things I can get. Like, I'm pretty open to getting a lot of things. Then there's some I'm just like, okay. If you enjoy it, it's the same. And there's no bad word.
SPEAKER_03Zach's kid is 23, similar interest in like anime things, and we'll send over videos. I feel a little bit that maybe it's just the anime world. The anime world is not for me.
SPEAKER_02No, it's just there's there's a universe that we don't connect with.
SPEAKER_03I'm like, oh, that's a Cyrus thing. Okay. Yeah, it's okay. 3660 also said, Dads, we know just enough to help find you, but we don't do specifics.
SPEAKER_02And here's the thing also you have to remember m with most dad situations, is when God forbid, you use this example. God forbid, little Timmy goes missing in the woods behind the house. And mom's, you know, able to describe right down to the bottom.
SPEAKER_03He was wearing a red shirt this morning, and he had jeans. Superman underwear. Superman underwear, jean shorts, black shoes, and dad's like brown hair, I think.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, you know what dad's good at though? Well, after mom gives the description to the officers and then starts to turn into a puddle of goo because she can't hold it together. I can stand up. Go back, slide open the back door. Okay. Timmy, where are you? Mom can't do that. See? And then Timmy comes flying. Yeah, right? And then uh I'm the hero because Timmy came back. He's like, oh, it must be time for dinner.
SPEAKER_03And that's all it takes?
SPEAKER_02It's the skill sets that different sexes have, I guess, in this case.
SPEAKER_03I guess, because I would be I would be crying.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_03Do you not hear my tears, little Timmy?
SPEAKER_02Do you not know your mother's heart is yearning and hurting? You heard me slide open the door and yell his name as loud as humanly possible. Like a Tyrannosaurus Rex walking through the neighborhood.
SPEAKER_03Moving on from that, the cyclospora is something else that we've talked about a lot over the past week. And it just so happens It's out everybody's mind and out somebody's butt. Exactly. And Harry Stiles just had to cancel one of his tour dates. They say because of a tour illness, but I'm worried about him.
SPEAKER_02Where is he right now? Do you know?
SPEAKER_03Oh, I don't know.
SPEAKER_02Because no, I don't know. Oh, see, I don't know that the cyclospora hit over there. I think it's just an R problem. Hold on. Let me see. It's an it's an us problem, as in US.
SPEAKER_03I can't believe I'm looking up Harry Styles' tour dates.
SPEAKER_02Well, I mean, i i if if he was here. If he was like in Kansas, I could be like, okay.
SPEAKER_03He's in Brazil.
SPEAKER_02Oh, I don't know that they got the cyclospora.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, but they didn't confirm what what exactly the illness was.
SPEAKER_01It's a possibility that he has the cyclospora, but. Your weight loss journey can be difficult, expensive, and you know sometimes the products don't live up to the hype. Not anymore. Introducing over-the-counter cyclospora.
