We were just talking about how uh Sephora and and I I could see Alta doing this down the road, uh, but there's two two funny observations about both these stores. Uh it's like walking into a spaceship, uh a spaceship of makeup for the ladies. And it smells so good. Oh, it does. And uh but specifically Alta, that that place walking in there, you're like, I just beamed in. I mean, it is definitely futuristic vibe, right?

SPEAKER_01

Oh yeah, beam me up to Beauty Planet.

SPEAKER_00

Yes, that's good. Uh and then uh, you know, when I go into Sephora, because now they're doing quiet hours, and it's kind of funny. I try to be quiet because I know I'm walking into an area that I know nothing about, and I have to go immediately to a counter to get assistance because I'm like, I need to get my hands on this perfume. And then I'll show the picture, like every guy, and I'll be like, this one right here. Sounds real quiet. And then then all of a sudden the girls are like, Well, we have three different sizes. This one for $69.99, this one for $89.99, or you can buy the VAT 15 gallons for uh $599. $198.97, and that's a deal, sir, because you get a five-gallon vat of the Dolce and Caboners.

SPEAKER_01

You really had better love that smell.

SPEAKER_00

And then all of a sudden I'm sitting there going, okay, I'll take the big one. That's me. Is that you being quiet? Yeah, right. So not working. But I have to tell you a rather funny story. I dreaded telling telling you this story because I know it's gonna open the door for endless torture. I can't wait. I know. Um, that's all right, because I got something afterwards that I can torture you with.

SPEAKER_01

Okay.

SPEAKER_00

So we were out in Hornell, as you know, for 4th of July.

SPEAKER_01

Yes, that's right. Uh-huh.

SPEAKER_00

Went over to the uh magnificent Park of Hornell over there, whatever it is. Uh, not the really nice new one, whatever this dust ball was that uh uh that's got a merry-go-round that's rusted that somebody's gonna have to get a tetanus shot afterwards. And they had some vendors set up. Oh, shocking. And I know, right? Now I already had expectations that were pretty low. It was vendors in Hornell. I mean, come on, you know. So uh anyway, we're walking around, and this one lady, uh very nice lady actually, was selling things of no interest to me.

SPEAKER_01

But uh, you know, most of those that have no interest of whether it's like, you know, corning or hornell.

SPEAKER_00

So Tiffany is uh, you know, checking it all. So I start doing the guy driftaway.

SPEAKER_01

Do you know what the guy driftaway is? Yeah, you just start to like look at other tables. Summer yourself over there, you know?

SPEAKER_00

You're not by the bench, you're not aggressively walking away, but you're trying to give the impression of moving on, sister. This is all garbage. Don't care. So at any rate, uh You don't care, I do. The statement gets made uh to Tiffany, it goes, Well, you better tell dad to come back. It looks like you're getting ready to spend some of his money. Oh. I was apparently her dad at the vendor fair. And they wanted I wasn't even thinking about that. That's what it was. Oh, it wasn't dad in general. It was you better get your dad's wallet before he walks away. She is not that huge of an age difference from me, mind you. It's about 10 years. Uh, 12, 13. Less than that. No, stop it. It's like 10. No, it's more than 10. Yeah, you're right, 13.

SPEAKER_01

Uh, but uh So I wasn't wrong.

SPEAKER_00

I'm like Dad's wallet. You better get dad's wallet.

SPEAKER_01

Oh my gosh. That is so funny. Because at first I went to a space where my grandparents would call each other mom and dad. Uh-huh. And that's what I was thinking at first. But then once you said it, oh no, the that sealed the deal.

SPEAKER_00

You'll not get any of my money.

SPEAKER_01

That's why I always feel weird whenever I meet people at certain events. Instead of saying, Is this your significant other? Is this your parent? Because I feel like I will get myself stuck in one of those situations where I'm gonna be grossly embarrassed.

SPEAKER_00

Well, and then I'm starting to think about it. I'm looking at I'm literally gross. Yeah, I'm literally I'm thinking of my surroundings because her mom was there, Joanne, who's 16 years old.

SPEAKER_01

She should have been like, yeah, my sugar daddy.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, exactly. My uh, my my you know, her. So I'm like thinking, does this vendor think that I'm with her mother and this is our gaggle of kids? Oh my god.

SPEAKER_01

I've never seen Joanne.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, she's held up well, she looks good.

SPEAKER_01

Okay, yeah, but probably probably looks younger than you. Innocent.

SPEAKER_00

I mean, at this point, that's pretty much the way it is, you know.

SPEAKER_01

But so the the kids were there? No, my kids weren't. Okay, then guess she definitely thought that you were the dad. Okay. Yep. Okay, okay.

SPEAKER_00

I told you this was gonna open the door for you to just have a great time with this.

SPEAKER_01

You had mentioned something about kids a second ago, though. So then I was like, well, a lot of people will just use the dad reference.

SPEAKER_00

No, as in like go get your dad's wallet before he walks too far away.

SPEAKER_01

Wait, I also want to say one other thing about that though. Like, ew, I have my own money. Because this happened to us just the other day. I was with Zach somewhere and she was like, she had referenced, oh, oh, your husband's money. And I was like, Bash. I got my own. I got I got my I I make more money than him. Oh
