I feel like this is proof that walking on a first date works. After listening to the podcast where the woman said you should not walk on a first date, I thought, well, that's weird. I think that's a good idea. But proof 3490, we walked on our first date 14 years ago. Okay. Then this person, I think, really nails it. Uh, this is 3504. I think guys talk more without direct eye contact. That's why they usually talk in the car. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, there's it's the getting comfortable thing. I mean, because uh I can't really focus if you're staring through my soul immediately. I mean, you'll have the opportunity. I'm sure I'll do something to piss you off that'll make you want to stare through my soul as this progresses because Tiffany then texts and she goes, This is why Scott is never going to a vendor fair with me again. I hate hearing complain him complain all the time.

SPEAKER_00

Well, listen, your your your your um plan worked, Scott. You complained. You complained so much that now you don't have to go. I need to explain the complain. Uh-huh.

SPEAKER_01

There I think, okay, you know how women are normally the observant sex? Yeah. You know, usually you don't miss a thing, right? And guys usually are like, what? Yeah. You know, that's what it is. But at a vendor fair, women lose all observation ability from afar. Like, here's what I mean. She could walk into the kitchen from work, across the entire kitchen, be like, dirty glass all the way over there.

SPEAKER_00

Oh my god, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Like, oh my god. But at a vendor fair, everything blocks out. And I'm like, for me, I could stand further back and be like, that table doesn't do it for me. Uh-huh. But then we gotta go in anyway.

SPEAKER_00

And that's where But but yeah, let's get closer. Let's see, you never know.

SPEAKER_01

Except for the one vendor where there's nobody sitting there, and it's like, you know, you're just like, oh, she's a talker, this lady that's gonna be behind the table.

SPEAKER_00

She's visiting all the other vendors. Is that what you're doing?

SPEAKER_01

No, no, no, no. The lady that's usually sitting in the rocker, maybe knitting something, and you know she's just desperate for someone to come over and talk, and it's gonna be a 30-minute, you know, I don't care about patrulli oil conversation that you're having. And you you there it's so everybody knows that one particular vendor. You're kind of like, what is it you're selling here?

SPEAKER_00

A good conversation, I guess. I guess. Do you want to bring you a cup of coffee? Should I pull up a rocker?

SPEAKER_01

Well, so so for it's funny how the observation skill set flips at a vendor fair for men and women. Men normally can't see anything, and men, and but there, women are just like, Well, why not a doily stand? So a doily stand. Doesn't do it for me. You know? But the next stand over, which has the the garlic grater, I'm into that for some reason. Like, I like to go see that.

SPEAKER_00

It's hit and miss for you. Yeah. I understand. That's just me. And also for specifically for you, usually the music isn't your style. It's like bling bling bling bling.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, they don't do a lot of music at most of the fairs that I've been at. Love it. No, well, they also don't do a lot of deodorant or ways to stop the people from perspiring, but that's here and over there.

SPEAKER_00

That's the other thing. The one thing that's usually guaranteed, good food.

SPEAKER_01

Yes, there is good food. And the samples, it's all actually better than a Costco. Uh-huh. Uh-huh.

SPEAKER_00

You're sampling honey, you're sampling mustard.

SPEAKER_01

Yep, yep. You get me suckered into the uh barbecue sauce, people. I'm like, oh my goodness. That's $75 on two charges.

SPEAKER_00

That's me. I'm a condiment whore. Yeah, I know.

SPEAKER_01

So that's all. That's that's okay. Just clarifying that. I can see from afar in those settings, and not everyone else can.

SPEAKER_00

Well, I just want to make sure I don't miss anything. Yeah. Okay, let's go back to the story that we talked about at the top of the show. The woman who uh closed her husband's butt cheeks together. I need to play something for you.

SPEAKER_01

There is sometimes a a phenomenon that happens in society, and it's like common thinking.

SPEAKER_00

Where like when we do spider stories and all we hear is spider stories, yes, snake stories, and all of a sudden we hit we'll hear ninety two snake stories. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

I have you confirm something for me in a minute. We'll do that next.
