This is a local little girl who tried to ask a request of where she wanted to go, but we're all trying to decipher it for wholesome cafe tickets or uh gift cards. Ella said she wanted to go to Harry's Hole tomorrow. Where does she actually want to go?
SPEAKER_01Interestingly enough, uh, there is someone with like-minded thinking like me, and that would be uh 1351. Uh just a guess, I would say a swimming hole. That's what I would have thought. Like Uncle Harry used to take everybody there, and the family started calling it Harry's Hole. Well, somewhere on the Shimung River.
SPEAKER_02You know what? You're right. That's like Pee-Pee Lagoon. Yes. So you've got your own little nickname for a little swimming place. Yes. Although I think more than one person calls it Pee Pee Lagoon.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I'm pretty sure anybody that regularly boats up there does.
SPEAKER_02I don't think that's just a Scot Free special. Uh this one is Harry's Hole in Almira refers to Harry's in the Heights. Casual, no-frills neighborhood watering hole. Local corner bar, frequently described. Do you think Ella was gonna be backing up on the shape? Wings, Mom. Oh, wings and shots? Um, no.
SPEAKER_01Although Harry's does have good wings.
SPEAKER_02They do. And they're they have the best potato chips with the rub or whatever is on it.
SPEAKER_01Oh, I haven't had those. So get that little fresh. That's not right? No. Okay.
SPEAKER_02But you're honestly, so many of you got it, so we're gonna have to put your names in a hat and pick. Okay. It was Harris Hill.
SPEAKER_01Oh, how old was she? I don't know how old she is. She's gotta be really young where she's instead of saying, Harris Hill is Harrison.
SPEAKER_02But I but I I want to preface this. So I've got some people that Harry's Hole is now Harris Hill.
SPEAKER_01That's great.
SPEAKER_02That's the one of those things that you'll forever call Harry's Hole. Um, but here's the thing. So I've got all these people who put in Harris Hill, right? 2709, for instance.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_027028. Wait, hold this. 7496. But I've got a smattering of people who are guests. You can't win anything unless you register on our app.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, well, uh come on, guys. Either make sure you're logged in or register. You know, it takes two seconds. We're not, we're not doing anything with your information that we shouldn't be doing.
SPEAKER_02No, we don't sell it or anything like that.
SPEAKER_01It's actually so we can fill out a winner form quicker if you really want the truth. I'm sorry, we're lazy.
SPEAKER_02And for the instances like this, so it's easy for us to call you whenever you win something like the um wholesome cafe gift cards.
SPEAKER_01Yep, pretty much is the way that it is. Let's uh Harris Hill. Harris Hill, yeah.
SPEAKER_02Oh, Harris Hill, yeah, yeah, yeah. Somebody said maybe Harris Hill, but it's uh definitely Harris Hill.
SPEAKER_01On the heels of mispronouncing, and I can understand if they're a young kid, a little kid, you know, that Harry's home! Harry things come out kind of weird, right? Um But when you're an adult, sometimes you still mispronounce things.
SPEAKER_02Oh my gosh, you want to know one that really bugs my best friend? I say coupon. He's like, there's no cue.
SPEAKER_01That's true.
SPEAKER_02And coupon.
SPEAKER_01That's right, it's coupon. Coupons. Coupons. Not a coupon.
SPEAKER_00Coupon. Take that cue out of your mouth.
SPEAKER_01I think I'm guilty of this one. Take a listen.
SPEAKER_00A pet peeve that I have that I'll never get over is people pronouncing it Reese's. It is Reese's. It is a guy named Reese, and it is his. It's his. Reese's. And it's in the commercial. Reese's puffs, Reese's puffs. R Double E S E S. But it's Reese's. No. The company is not mispronouncing their own name. It's Reese's. And Reese's pieces still rhymes. We're not saying Reese's PCs. That doesn't make any sense. Why do people say it like this? And you can't tell me that's a regional thing because I'm from Nebraska. I live in Arizona now. I've heard it people there and here pronounce it Reese's. We're New Yorkers. Why are we saying Reese's? It's Reese's! It's Reese's!
SPEAKER_01I say Reese's PCs! So do I. Oh, yeah. It's because of the PCs, which is Reese's pieces.
SPEAKER_02Uh-huh.
SPEAKER_01But I also do the Reese's Reese's PCs. I don't know why.
SPEAKER_02I don't know. Since I was a little kid, it's always been Reese's PCs.
SPEAKER_01Reese's PCs.
SPEAKER_02Which also sounds just odd. Reese's PCs. You know one of those things, like after you say it, you're like, that feels weird in my mouth.
SPEAKER_01I know, because you know what's going in my mouth? A Reese. I got a Reese Pisa place. You got a Reese Pizza.
SPEAKER_02I am gonna pick one of you guys to win the wholesome cafe. So give me this. What about I'm gonna pick this person. Okay. 7326. 7326, I'll call you in just a minute.
SPEAKER_01Okay.
