You know the month is not over with yet, which means we are still giving away $250 every single day with our red, white, and win.
SPEAKER_01All you have to do is jump on our app, either the Wink 106 app, Twin Tears Magic, or My Radio Jams app. And then you just click where it says win $250 with red, white, and win. Uh, who's our winner this morning? It is Kelly Williams. Kelly Williams. So we do it every single day. Even on the weekends, we choose somebody, chose somebody on Saturday, chose somebody on Sunday. And it's just a nice little bonus. I even said to Scott today, can we get to payday, please? Please. Anytime. Anytime. I would freaking love it. So this would be a nice little bump for you, just to have a little uh little extra money, a little extra $250.
SPEAKER_02Kind of forget how long July is until suddenly you get there. I mean, it's a day longer than you know other months, but like, well, all right. So I know your brother is in well, he's on and off been in the legal field. Technically, he's a lawyer.
SPEAKER_01Yes.
SPEAKER_02Uh and but at the same time, he's been in and out of you know that business. He's done other things and all that. Now, have you ever gone to your brother in any way, shape, or form for any legal advice?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, but it was really minimal. It was something that it was here for the station. It was naming an event, and I just needed to see if it had been trademarked. And so he was like, Oh, yeah, here's the website you go to, blah, blah, blah.
SPEAKER_02It was useful.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I mean, I'm uh if I'm being honest, like uh he would be more useful if it was something like with you, it might be um, you know, spousal support, even though I mean I know you're not you're not there, but what I'm saying is if you if he had spousal support or something where I was getting in trouble, then his his um section of law might be more useful to me.
SPEAKER_02With that patent law that he's uh practicing.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, exactly. Like what what he what good are you gonna do for me?
SPEAKER_02If you invent the the uh metal foot scratcher that you can put in your pocket as opposed to a fork on a cruise ship, that might be something he'd be he could help us with.
SPEAKER_01One of the cool things though about what he does is that he gets to see things before they actually become life.
SPEAKER_02Oh, yeah, no, that's very cool. Uh-huh. Does he have to like okay? Uh there's a reason I'm I'm I'm I'm gonna steer away from your brother in a minute, but now that you've opened this door, um, I'm assuming like he's told you guys things, like, oh yeah, I I saw that or whatever before it was a thing, or or or does he have to is it like sworn to secrecy?
SPEAKER_01Like he can't it must be sworn to secrecy, or we don't care enough.
SPEAKER_02All right, that's honestly maybe the answer.
SPEAKER_01I've never asked him about anything that's like cool, you know.
SPEAKER_02Well, if you need a nice icebreaker next time you talk to him, he'd be like, So I gotta ask you this weird question.
SPEAKER_01Believe me, he'll fill up all this the talking space. Okay. Uh that he's a good lawyer.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. Filibust your way through. Uh that being said, if you're a cop, now I don't know what this is like. I've had my brother Jim has worked around law enforcement, but never was a cop. I'm sure somebody listening has a brother, father, sister, whoever that is a police officer. And in this case, a cop pulls over his own brother because he uh he's a little upset about the World Cup bet that they had.
SPEAKER_00Dog, my brother's a cop. He pulls up to the window, like, hey, it was good. He's like, license and registration, sir. Sir, we brothers, dog. This man is so serious. I'm like, oh what? And I realized this man is really still butthurt because we bet $300 on the World Cup final and he had Argentina to win. He's calling me, sir. Like, dog, you know my name. Where are you headed from? Dog, we were both at my mom's house. What do you mean? Just because Laminha Ma lifted the trophy, you out here saying I rolled on the stop, I did, but like, dog, you should why you looking so hard? You my brother. Tell me why he's gonna give me a ticket for 300 bucks. He don't want me to win. What does that help him? You already paid, lost your money, now you're making me not keep it.
SPEAKER_01I wonder how many times though, because you know how you get those like perks of work where you can get somebody out of a ticket or you can help them out with whatever your perk of work is. I wonder how many times, if you don't like your sibling, that you legit pull them over and you're like, I'm not helping you.
SPEAKER_02I am literally gonna ask this question. I need to know is there anyone out of the world's most dangerous audience you've been pulled over by your brother, your father, your sister, your aunt, your uncle. I don't care what it is. Has anybody I mean And was it a surprise?
SPEAKER_01Did they know it was you?
SPEAKER_02You you can let me know if you got in or out of a ticket or not. I'm just curious to know, or were you arrested by a I mean, what is that like? Because I think it's sound like at Thanksgiving if they had to arrest you because I don't know.
SPEAKER_01Let's say like what what if it was like uh St. Patrick's Day and it was public intoxication or something, where you have to because you're everyone's around you.
SPEAKER_02You're obligated, you have to keep people safe.
SPEAKER_01Exactly. That is the duty that you uh have agreed to.
SPEAKER_02Or it is a guarantee that they walk up to the window and they're like, oh my god, just go. Go.
