SPEAKER_01

Well, here we go. We're into the rain thing now for the next few days.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, but it doesn't seem like too, too bad. I mean, today, yeah, but then it like it just starts to taper and taper. I think by Thursday we'll be fine. I was looking at it this morning just because I don't like driving in the rain, and I'll be driving on Friday. So I wanted to see what was upcoming.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, Friday's perfect.

SPEAKER_00

Right, right, right. So that but I noticed that there was a taper. Yes. Is what I was I was checking out.

SPEAKER_01

It's gonna be hit and miss from here on out now. Now we got the storms. We knew this was coming. We made it to the pool though yesterday. That was uh Lydia and I did.

SPEAKER_00

Um yes, you and I talked on the phone and you guys were headed up there, and you said Gavin was too school co too cool for school.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, he was like, No, I just want to hang out with my friend. I'm like, okay, all right. I'll take your sister, we'll go.

SPEAKER_00

This is this is how it's gonna be from now on now. I mean, he's turning the big 12 at the end of the week, and I think you're just gonna have it where it's like he shows up sometimes, sometimes not. Sometimes there, sometimes not.

SPEAKER_01

Kind of like the two of us on the show. Sometimes one of us is here, the other one.

SPEAKER_00

Sometimes not. The good thing is though, I I think boys don't come with as much attitude as girls do. Because when Lydia had has the switch from like 12, 13, watch out.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Because I know I gave I gave my mom so much hell.

SPEAKER_01

It wasn't she's still paying you back to this day, though. It works.

SPEAKER_00

That's right. It wasn't until a little bit later, but man, every single person that has a girl, they're like, God, sometimes they just get to that age where you just want to punt them across the room. Luckily, Lydia is still sweet and innocent and adorable.

SPEAKER_01

At this point, we're doing okay. As long as we we can hold on to that as long as uh humanly possible. Now, I do want to know really quick, yeah. Just because yesterday we spent a lot of time on this. You uh you getting your phone back today?

SPEAKER_00

Supposedly, yeah. He had to order a part, and then I called him back and asked how much it was, and it's 150, which isn't bad. It's reasonable, especially because I need to push out these social media videos that I edit. I'm so concerned, and this sounds so crazy. Like, I could care less about a lot of the things. Like, I'm sure that I'm gonna lose pictures or whatever. I don't actually I don't think I am, but the my concern is the work stuff is do I still have all of the content in my editing apps? I'm like internally dying about that. Yeah, other than that, I'm like, okay, I have like 98 selfies of Zach and I. I think I can give up one or two.

SPEAKER_01

You can make more.

SPEAKER_00

There are totally. Although there are some that I do love. And what am I gonna do as of today? As soon as I get that phone back, I'm gonna re-up in the cloud. I'm gonna make sure that I'm covered. I'm getting the the recovery system back up because I didn't do it the first time, didn't do it the second time, and now I'm learning my lesson.

SPEAKER_01

You're gonna buy in like Apple makes you?

SPEAKER_00

Yes, I am. Jeez. I really hate that, but yes, I am.

SPEAKER_01

I mean, you spend X billion dollars per phone, you'd think that they'd give you enough storage to be able to handle it for a long time.

SPEAKER_00

Well, and I love how people go, Allie, it's just a couple extra bucks. I'm like, it's the principle.

SPEAKER_01

It is the principle of it. I mean, you spend twelve hundred dollars on a phone, you're like, come on, people, you know.

SPEAKER_00

Exactly.

SPEAKER_01

But all right. Speaking of stealing, also, we have a speaking of stealing, we weren't talking about stealing at all.

SPEAKER_00

Stealing my money for the cloud. Oh, god damn. I see.

SPEAKER_01

I understand how you tied it together. Stealing.

SPEAKER_00

That is that is highway robbery. Yes, I agree now. Keep that that cloud agoin. I freaking keep it in the sky. Yeah. Oh, it's only a dollar for now until it's 10, 20, 30.

SPEAKER_01

It was nine dollars.

SPEAKER_00

I don't even know what it is, Scott. All I know is I love when people are like, it's not that much. Add it up. Add it up, people.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

12 months out of the year, what are you paying? You're paying 120 bucks. Apple.

SPEAKER_01

On top of the $1,200 you paid for the phone.

SPEAKER_00

Sit on and twist it. You know? Yeah. It just makes me so angry. Uh yes, on top of what I pay for the phone and my bill. I don't know, what's your bill a month?

SPEAKER_01

I don't have a bill.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, that's right. That's right. You're still in that. That's why you won't re-up because you're afraid they're gonna charge you. God, you're so cheap. Well, my bill. It's inside here.

SPEAKER_01

The attack.

SPEAKER_00

My bill is what is my bill? 110, maybe? Or something like that?

SPEAKER_01

Which actually is not that bad.

SPEAKER_00

It's not terrible. No.

SPEAKER_01

Listen to me. Now I sound like everyone's like, that's not that bad.

SPEAKER_00

It's not that bad. But then we add another 10 bucks on that. Yeah, no, I think that's a good thing.

SPEAKER_01

But that I uh yeah, it gets a little stupid.

SPEAKER_00

Anyway, so I'm done with people stealing from me because now we got a we got a thief in the office. Somebody is stealing. This is this is minor, but this is the gateway to where it's going.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, oh, here it comes.

SPEAKER_00

Somebody has been stealing two of my things out of the fridge, and I am about to, I'm about to armor up. My coke zero.

SPEAKER_01

Did you catch the choice of words that I mean she had to like millisecond think about that?

SPEAKER_00

Because I wanted to say something off.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, right.

SPEAKER_00

So I I had my Coke Zero stolen yesterday.

SPEAKER_01

Which is a shocker, because that's the last thing on anybody's list that they'd want to steal.

SPEAKER_00

Pretty delicious. Pretty delicious. And then I got somebody else who is using my almond milk every day for their coffee. And you want to know how I know? Because I put it in a certain spot, and I I you know how you you you like visually go, it's right here. Oh, yeah. And then the next day, even today I came in and it was cockeyed. I'm like, mm-hmm. So here's the thing. I the creamer, it's tough because I I think the company buys creamer for it. Right. Use the company's creamer. Should I put my name on this?

SPEAKER_01

The creamer, I think, is always gonna be the battle. The fact that there's the I mean, I'm really we you know what? Here's what we're gonna do today. We're gonna do a social media video today, and we are going to find out who the thief is.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, we need to do some investigative reporting.

SPEAKER_01

Here's exactly how we're gonna do it. We're going to walk around and you're going to ask everyone. The first question's gonna go, what's your favorite soda? And just ask. Now, if you do the first pass, you know, like let's say you ask Megan. Uh-huh. I don't think Megan's drinking your Coke Zero. No, she's a Power girl gonna rum in it. She's a Pepsi girl. I think what you do is is you go, hey, what's your favorite soda? Uh-huh. And then she goes, I like regular Pepsi. Okay. Hey, do you like Coke Zero? Almost you have to slide it in as a secondary thought.

SPEAKER_00

Because I did start this yesterday.

SPEAKER_01

Because most people I think are gonna go, nope, don't like Coke Zero. But then you're gonna find the one guy, glasses, about five feet tall, uh-huh, sits at a desk next to Jim.

SPEAKER_00

I think he's the one who's drinking my almond milk, too.

SPEAKER_01

Rhymes with Reich.

SPEAKER_00

So yesterday I started I got a hunch! I got uh yesterday I started by prelimb investigation. So first I asked Jim, the nicest guy that we know.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, well, we've figured that out with 1.5 million views on his video.

SPEAKER_00

And I asked Jim, and Jim goes, Oh, I hate Coke Zero. You are gonna get a passionate response from so many people. I hate Coke Zero. He goes, You know, I only drink Thai Coke. Yeah, he does. Megan's a Pepsi drinker. I did ask Wendy. No, Wendy also only drinks regular pop. She's not gonna steal it. I didn't think so, but I did cat sit for her last week, and I did take a couple things from her house. Which we're gonna get to that. We're gonna get to that too.

SPEAKER_01

Now I need to know what you are stealing. This whole this whole robbery theme is beginning quite uh quite heavily early on.

SPEAKER_00

So I I did some prelims. I think I know who it is. I think you do too. Oh, it's one of two people.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

I've deduced wait a second, wait a second. Uh rat. Because don't we have the that that salesperson who's here for the week?

SPEAKER_01

Uh for the week.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. Rat Fleison.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, I don't think it's that. I no, I don't think it's that.

SPEAKER_00

Okay, because we have a guest here this week. I thought maybe it was. Did we? I didn't even know. I think I think she's here.

SPEAKER_01

I have no idea.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, but all I know is we have a we have another guest, our owner, the big okay, so there's like two owners in a way.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. Well, there's the money owner and then there's the owner owner.

SPEAKER_00

So the money owner saw him yesterday.

SPEAKER_01

Something tells me he's not a Coke Zero guy either. I don't even think he drinks soda.

SPEAKER_00

He's really thin.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

unknown

Yeah.
