We'll tell you how I still have a few more days to be able to win two hundred and fifty dollars in a minute. Hold on for that. Also, expect the rain today. This is gonna be the more likely today. Actually, it's it's today and tomorrow. We're right up there with the chance for it. Taper's off on Thursday. By Friday, you're back to sun. It's perfect. Golden! It's good stuff. We've been talking about this dog thing and how Zach has already confirmed to watch the dogs.
SPEAKER_01No, he's not. Ah, but he would. I know he would. That's the problem.
SPEAKER_02And then you'd be stuck all at home alone and you'd be like, somebody replaced me.
SPEAKER_03No, he would be like, just come over to Scott's house. No. I'm out of principle. I'm not doing it. Yeah, he's like, but there's cute little puggies on the heel.
SPEAKER_02He'd be sending you pictures of him holding Gideon.
SPEAKER_03Right. And I'll be like, Zach, and you're the sucker who's not getting paid from Scott right now.
SPEAKER_02No, I wouldn't say that.
SPEAKER_03He's getting paid in pug kisses. Oh my God. Not enough. And he would be completely fine with the pug kiss uh currency. The pug currency, yes. Yes.
SPEAKER_02He just has to give them fruits and vegetables every night because they eat cucumbers, peppers.
SPEAKER_03Fruits and vegetables? He's going to be giving them massages.
SPEAKER_01Oh, well, all right. This is perfect. They're going to have facials and it'll be the whole spa day. This works out for everybody, and then you get a break. Yeah. From who? My boyfriend that I don't want a break from? Uh, right now. You know, it's early. Yeah. All right.
SPEAKER_02What wait, what now? What happened at your house with your dog? I oh, geez, hang on a second. I gotta push this button. I'm sorry. Go ahead.
SPEAKER_00So my mother-in-law is driving me absolutely crazy. Um, he loves coming over to see her grandson, which of course I have no problem with, but every time she visits, she expects us to board our dog. She pretty much hates dogs and thinks they're dirty. Like sometimes he won't even sit on our couch because he knows our dog lays on it. The stupidest part is our dog's like 12 pounds. He's basically a fuzzy little throw pillow. Like, I don't mind taking him to doggy daycare if he's just stopping by for an afternoon. But when he stays for a whole weekend, she expects us to board him the entire time. And of course, she doesn't offer to pay for it. Got into like this huge fight with my husband because I finally told him next time I'd rather just take the dog and stay at my sister's house while his mom visits. And he got upset because he wants us all together. But it's like our dog lives here, you know, his mom's the guest. I just don't think it's fair that our whole house has to revolve around his mom disliking dogs.
SPEAKER_03Also, the whole thing about, oh, I can take the dog to doggy daycare if it's just like an afternoon drop-in. No, I I already am a mom who is trying to get everything together for a kid, keep the household together. So for me to have to go drop a dog at doggy daycare, go pick them up, because you you have the hours that you can and can't pick them up, and then I have to pay for that. No, this is our family, this is part of our family. You're you're not calling the shots with what goes on under my roof. I agree. Absolutely not.
SPEAKER_02I mean, I'm sorry if she can't adjust to it. There's something called a hotel.
SPEAKER_03Exactly. And you can stop right, you can stop in and you can stop in for a couple hours and you can deal with the dog.
SPEAKER_02I mean, it sounds like mom might either live in Rochester or Buffalo. Like it doesn't sound like she's coming in from California, but you know, it just seems like, you know, because if you can do drop-ins, you're close enough by.
SPEAKER_03Right, exactly. Like a I'm sure a Rochester. Yeah. But yes, hotel for you.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. And Fluffy is But do you know what the her son has to sit has to be the one to tell her. She is the one that has to grow the set and be like, Mom, look, I'm sorry. This is our house. We have Fluffy. And uh and I understand, you know, you're not really into dogs. And I I look, I have it was a different situation. So Auntie R. I P Auntie. We've discovered that yes. So Uncle her husband, my my uncle, Uncle Butch, best name on the planet, Butch.
SPEAKER_03Yes.
SPEAKER_02Um, and uh he hated kittens. So, you know, he wouldn't he he felt they were an animal that, you know, I'm not a big cat person either. Yeah, he just he he felt that was, you know. So I understand some people don't connect with pets the way other people do. I totally get that.
SPEAKER_03I also understand that people don't like dogs. I before junior, I was kind of meh and dogs. Yeah. But now it's and and this is I think the bottom line is this is my house.
SPEAKER_02No, I think that's exactly the point. And I think he has to say it. Yes. Or make the statement. I loved her idea of I'll grab the dog and go to my mom's or her sister's house. That'll cover that problem. That'll get a message across.
