Chad, you're not far from it, my friend. He goes, You should get a swimming pool instead. No. No, no. Hold on a second. I'm actually thinking I'm gonna do that next year. Get a cheapy then. Well, here's the thing is because I live in West Elmire and there's not one swatch of flat land anywhere, um, but I noticed one of my neighbors uh got one put in this year by Heselsons, and they also live, actually, they live on a more cliffy part of uh the neighborhood I live in. So that's gotta be a hell of a view when you're in that pool because you're like really over anyway. Uh maybe I'll make friends with them. We have talked about this pretty so instead of the pool table or instead of a foo, well, there won't be a foosball table. I don't need carpal tunnel in the next 10 minutes, but uh instead of the pool table, which I could see getting used, but I also understand all the arguments. We've been seriously considering getting I mean, uh would I love an in-ground pool? Do I have thirty thousand dollars? No, sure. I don't have any of that. So we'll have to get something in. I don't know. I mean, we might go with a cheapie, we might go, it's gonna end up being a next jump next summer thing or spring summer. Um, but I might do that. I've I've been a pool owner before many, many years ago.

SPEAKER_00

Me too, and I don't think it's worth it.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, see, I do. Maybe because you have young kids. Yeah, and I like to get in the pool a lot. Oh, I do a lot.

SPEAKER_00

I do too, but I just I found myself only getting in it when I would I would get home from work and I would clean it because you you have to pretty much clean it every day. And we even had the thing, the rotor rooter of uh you know the roomba. The roomba, yeah. Yeah, we had one of those as well. Yeah, but I found myself just wanting to get like a good clean because I I became almost like obsessed about it.

SPEAKER_01

You do, you you absolutely do, and you walk around with the uh 10-foot net. You know, there's something soothing about that.

SPEAKER_00

It was, it was. So I got in pretty much every single day, and then the dog would get in too, which was awesome. But I was like, cool, I'm in a pool by myself. The only time I wasn't in the pool by myself is when Shelby came over. So other than I don't know, but you have kids, you have kids. I think that you probably would use it a bunch.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, it it maybe, maybe where the trampoline is, it goes.

SPEAKER_00

I think that you could and get one of those like Sam's Club pools or something.

SPEAKER_01

Well, that that we might we might start there, or maybe we'll look at it and you know do a nicer one from.

SPEAKER_00

I do think that Tara brings up a really good point. I love this point, which means you might have to go back and get the pool table.

SPEAKER_01

I wonder if she can. I wonder if Tiffany can actually reach out to those people and be like, did anything did that sell? What what okay? Hold on, before you say yes or no to this. If everything doesn't go from an estate sale, and I'm talking larger items, let's say a couch, uh, you know, a nice one. Not not one you can just throw at the curb, you're like, oh, I'm glad to see that go. But like a pool table, things like that. Does the estate sale companies take that and like put it in storage and then see about selling?

SPEAKER_00

I'm curious on that. So we had an estate sale when my grandparents passed. I thought I thought that whatever sells, so the estate uh estate sale people, let's say it's Allie's estates, that I would get hypothetically 40% of the sales. Yeah. And then, and we organize it and everything, but whatever doesn't sell is up to you. But I can tell you this in our situation, we did have somebody come in and they're like, I'll buy up the rest. Oh, they did. Yeah, because they wanted to use it for like a store or something like that.

SPEAKER_01

Well, I'm wondering about that. I never knew because like, you know, that would make sense. Like, let and let's say it's nice enough stuff, not the garbagey stuff that you're just like whatever, go on. Yeah, yeah. I mean, does it if you're uh to me, I'd be like, Well, I could put that in a storage thing because you probably would have something like that and then turn around and sell it later.

SPEAKER_00

If I were you, after I tell you Tara's comment, yes, I would call the estate company and say, Hey, I missed the opportunity. How can I get it? Okay. Now, Tara said I would go get the pool table. And I would definitely get the pool table because you want your children and their friends at your house and not other people's homes, which your house has, I feel like, become that, especially with Gavin's friends.

SPEAKER_01

I I think that the oh, and I think it'll develop for Lydia's too. I just think that it's going to be the the gathering place for a lot of them as they continue to age up. And I am so fine with that. That does not bother me at all. I'm not like I gotta keep an eye on him 24-7, but I just think that I mean we're the house is kind of built for that.

SPEAKER_00

Right. And I and and what he means by that is Ah, they sold the damn pool table. She said, son of a well, I'm always going to estate sales. I will keep a lookout for you because the way Scott's house is, he has a room that's perfect for games. Yeah. I mean, not perfect for games while we're watching the Super Bowl, but that's when I'm like, I'll hide the sticks if we do the party again. Yeah, and knock it off. I'm trying to watch Bad Bunny. Can you actually justify it?

SPEAKER_01

Please, if Bad Bunny's on. Yeah, by the way, side note if you missed that, that's a that's another thing. We had read there's a big rumor going around that the Bieber is gonna be the halftime show. God, I hope so. God, we'll see what happens. The picture. We started the show with the foosball table that had to be parted with with one of your friends and the guy that was eventually moving into her house. Uh-huh. And she put the foot down and uh and she goes, No foosball table in my house. I teased Allie, I said, because you were talking about, you know, oh, we'll rearrange so that there's some pictures of his in the house and stuff like that. I said, Yeah, here's how it's gonna go. End of the hallway, darkest spot, when you're walking in, nobody will see it except you two, barely when you're walking into the bedroom.

SPEAKER_00

I mean, it's even worse than that. Or I wouldn't say worse, it's just you're pretty dang close. Now, my house is built into a hill. So when you walk in my house, you're on the upper level. And then you go to the back of the house, and there is a staircase that goes down, and the lower level is my second floor. So it kind of feels like it'd be like a basement, but it's not.

SPEAKER_01

Well, you have a very chalet style to your house.

SPEAKER_00

Yes. So he has all of these concert posters that are framed, and they're awesome. But I said, you know, where I think these concert posters should go in the house, is they can go down the down the staircase. It's like it's a hall.

SPEAKER_01

That's actually a great spot.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. But the funny thing is, it goes nobody would see it unless they were going down.

SPEAKER_01

Unless they were going downstairs. That's a neat thing to see when you're going downstairs, should you?

SPEAKER_00

Downstairs is two things. Well, three things. But downstairs is a spare bedroom, so only the people who are staying the night would really see it. Yeah. My vanity room is down there, and then kind of like a storage area.

SPEAKER_01

So you'd see it every day, and then he'd take people up and down the stairs to show off his uh his posters.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, his 19 Wilco posters. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

I'm I'm gonna give you I'm gonna give you a pass on this one. Okay. And here's why. If you were hiding his uh red-breasted tit picture of his uh birds, you know, or the warbly uh what do we call it? The warbly dick sizzle, whatever the birds are. Uh so if he if you were trying to hide his bird pictures, which usually are not that invasive, and they they're tolerable to look at. I can put them in the collage of pictures. Yeah, that's that I would have been on you a little bit. I'm like, you can't let the tit hang out on the wall where everyone can see it. And everyone can go, nice tit. Thank you. Uh, but for concert, it's kind of like I have not, I'm about to see your dad's massive collection of both sci-fi and concert stuff and everything else for the first time. I've heard about it for 20 years.

SPEAKER_00

Scott's coming to my parents' house next week.

SPEAKER_01

About to see for the first time, and I'm very excited to see the museum. But it has a place.

SPEAKER_00

Yes. And thank you. I'm glad you said that. Everything has a place.

SPEAKER_01

Yes, and and I agree with you on this. And uh, I believe also the concert posters. I you have said in this case, I side with you. Thank you. They can go down there. Yes. If it were the, you know, yellow bellied tit, that's uh that would be I would be like, come on, that's a little selfish. Now, you know, now if it's a picture of his kid, does that still also go down to the dark end of the hallway and be like, well, that ain't mine. So that'll go in the spare bedroom. Oh jeez.
