Scott, the cops are here.

SPEAKER_01

I love you, Tiffany! Take me!

SPEAKER_00

Come see me! Conjugal visits! Man.

SPEAKER_01

Um, okay, moving on from that for a minute. Uh-huh. Uh, I do love this text that came in, and you know, I gotta agree with you, 4441. I'm thinking being inside Allie's head, meaning thoughts, can be a scary place. I thought I was bad. I thought you all thought like this. Uh no, pretty much not anybody except well, maybe you and Betty, but pretty much I think some level. But the problem with it, what happens is you drag me down the sinkhole with you. And this is where, because I can't leave it hanging. I fall, huh? You you you take us somewhere and then I get sucked in and I just can't leave it be either.

SPEAKER_00

The to me, the tetra sport makes sense. There's a connection from one to the other.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, okay.

SPEAKER_00

We talked about the guy getting arrested, saying, I love you, into jail, and to conjugal visits.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

All makes sense.

SPEAKER_01

I I yes, the way you describe it now does. Sometimes when it unfolds, it is a little weirdly distracting. Yes, chaotic's a good word. Now we all live, we are a society that lives on our phones. Well, I mean, this is not changing. As much as I know there are people that would say, well, it'd be great if we could get off this. The reality to it is we are connected to it now. Maybe one day we'll have a little different of a connection. You know, maybe it'll it'll ease a little bit. I don't know.

SPEAKER_00

Listen, get your phone wet and not be available to you for four days like me currently. You're really gonna appreciate that phone. I'm showing up to places, I'm showing up to hair appointment yesterday that weren't even on the calendar.

SPEAKER_01

I had no idea solving all your late problems were actually just getting rid of your phone for whether you wanted to or not, because you were a day early for something. You are never early for something. You were a day early.

SPEAKER_00

A day early and on time. I mean, how? This is problem solve? Because I was guessing.

SPEAKER_01

Well, anyway, we are a society that's attached to our phones. Do you call someone in your house to uh let them know something? In other words, uh Zach's downstairs.

SPEAKER_00

There is an instance that I would do this.

SPEAKER_01

I've done this, I've done this so recently, it's ridiculous.

SPEAKER_00

And they have to be though. Okay, in my house in particular, he would have to be like down at the bonfire where it's farther enough away. I've kind of a smaller house. Your house is huge.

SPEAKER_01

I have literally called Tiffany while she's putting something in the laundry downstairs to ask her a question. I could literally walk down the stairs and okay, it's a little bit of a jog. A jog.

SPEAKER_00

I had to run a three a 3K just to get this question out. But we've both done this.

SPEAKER_01

We've both texted each other. Well, okay, so texting is a little bit different. If you're texting so if you're on Instagram and you're texting someone a funny story, that's not what I'm talking about. I'm talking about you've either called your kids, literally called your kids in a bedroom. Gavin, come to dinner. Hey, dinner's done. Or texted them that. And we all do it. The phone call though, I really because all right, I I may have been accused once or all the time of being loud. That's what I was gonna say. It's better than you being like, hey Tiffany! That's actually if I'm doing it right, I should probably be like, Hey Tiffany, I love you.

SPEAKER_00

Can you put my underwear in the wash down?

SPEAKER_01

You know, back in the day start every phrase, every every conversation with that. I know that people probably think the underwear part either.

SPEAKER_00

Hey Tiffany, I love you. I know people probably thought, oh, she has this, so her family's rich. We had one of those intercoms. Remember those? Yeah. Yes.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, and then they never worked after 1986. They really didn't. They all looked like they were from 1982 and they never worked after 1986. Well, first of all, I was I was gonna ask this question. Now I gotta know. I was gonna ask this question. I was gonna say, when's the last time you actually just phone called someone in your own house? Because either A, you didn't feel like getting off the couch or uh B, dinner was done, you weren't ready to walk down and deal with that. It's so much easier. You can text on that, but now I have to know, does anyone, and these were in every house of a certain generation, does anybody have that intercom on the wall? And it's kind of it's kind of gaudy. It I mean it it stands out.

SPEAKER_00

But it was convenient. This was before cell phones.

SPEAKER_01

Does anyone have one that works?

SPEAKER_00

And if so, can we get a is that how it works? Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Um I mean, really, seriously.

SPEAKER_00

That would be so cool.

SPEAKER_01

I've never been in a house where one works. I've been in houses where they've been there. Uh-huh. But of course. I've never been in a house where it works.

SPEAKER_00

Right, right, right. That would be awesome.

SPEAKER_01

Since 1986.

SPEAKER_00

I love that. That's like one of those fun little features that is really a real estate selling point for me.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, yes. Having the giant plastic shield on the wall that doesn't work and the old knobs that don't turn anymore.

SPEAKER_00

You can turn it up and you're like, what?

SPEAKER_01

It was at one time it was white and now it's yellow. Yeah, I know exactly.
