I mean, that's that's the mission. So I have to tell you, you know, it's an interesting, it's an interesting juggling act when you're a parent and you want to listen to your kids, but also you know, and they say, you know, the art of life is storytelling. Lydia is learning the art of life.

I would I would assume that hearing you tell stories, I don't I don't think she constantly listens to you on the radio, but I think that hearing I mean she constantly listens to me anywhere. Okay. But I think being at least exposed to you and your career, that she would probably pick up on just like little nuances to make her a good storyteller.

Well, you know, if you think there was a show called The Loud House, uh, it was on like Nickelodeon or something like that. I'm pretty sure they took the template from my house, right? So anyway, so I pick up the kids yesterday and Lydia proceeds to tell this story, and I I can I actually Because they go to like like a childcare thing, right, in the summertime. Well, just for a few hours in the morning when I'm doing this show and that, and then usually by 1230, we're gonna go.

To my knowledge, no. Uh far as I know, they're not sitting at home. They're they're over at uh Miss Sarah's house. So anyway, I pick her up yesterday.

And uh this is the story that I get. And I this I feel is gonna be a short-lived segment on the show, but might pop itself up from time to time. Okay. It's the stories Lydia tells.

In this case, yesterday, I don't remember all the kids' names. Who could, right?

Well, and you're a dad. We learned this last week. You guys just don't remember names.

So we have uh in this situation, Gavin has there's three boys all the same age. That's great. They all kind of do their thing. Then there's Lydia, and she has two girls her same age. So the three that are the same age kind of do things together. Three amigos, three amigos. Then there's some other kids random, younger ages, and stuff like this. So Lydia and her friend Abby, let's say. Sure. They're out in the backyard and they find a frog. Oh the frog is because it it, you know, I guess it hadn't rained at that point yesterday or or whatever. It was like, dry! Yes, the frog was dry. So they're trying to get they're trying to get the frog to some water. And while they're trying to get the frog, you know, her and Abby are trying to get the frog to some water, here comes Aiden, who's all of four four years old over. Oh no. Steps on the frog and squishes it.

Oh no, this is clear. So Aiden is gonna be a terror.

Abby and and and Lydia are beside themselves. Well, yeah. Now they have to bury the frog, she tells me. So I swear, kids, here comes, here comes. Uh, Dad, we need more time. You have you can't pick us up as early every day. And I'm like, what do you need more time for? Well, after Aiden stepped on the frog, we realized we had to bury the frog. Of course. So I'm carrying it around on a fork. A fork? This is where Gavin chimes in. Please tell me it was a plastic fork. This is where Gavin chimes in. Looks at her, he goes, Where'd you get a fork? Yeah.

This is, you know, like Gavin's like, he's he's trying to Is this like the same thing where the woman was itching her foot with a fork the other day? Like, this is a fork that would need to the that would need to be thrown away if that's if it's a house fork.

She proceeds to say, I had a fork in my lunchbox. I guess I did pack forks for them the other day. Throw it away. Yeah, well, yes. And she goes, but we didn't get to bury the frog because you got here. Okay. This was the story I got yesterday.

So today you're picking her up a little bit later so she could bury Ralph.

Why can't they bury Ralph right now? He could be in the in the ground by now, for all we know. I don't know. Or perhaps Sarah and her husband took a shovel and scooped him into the neighbor's yard. I don't know. I do that with the dog poop, whatever. Um, so at any rate, I would hate you as a neighbor. This is the stories that I get. I don't know that I'll always have a gem for you, but I want you to take this away today with this in mind. Aiden, you're right. Gonna be a little tear. He comes running around the corner. The girls are all excited, they find a frog. There it is. Frog's done.

Tell her tell her, say, Aunt Allie says we need to actually you need to go to the backyard. You need to go to the backyard once you pick up Lydia, say, hey, we have one more job before we leave, and sit tell Sarah, we need to go pour out one for our homie, okay? Sure, that's what she wants to hear.
