We gotta do quick math here. So uh just because it's so you guys are aware of this, because next week Allie and I have a uh uh a conference we have to go to the latter half of the week. So Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, we're both gonna be in Cleveland with some, you know, some people from the curprit office, if you will. Uh-huh. And uh you know, so we're not gonna do the birthday wheel next Friday, which means let's see.

SPEAKER_00

We'll be at $1,166.

SPEAKER_01

There you go. So there you are, my friends. Be ready for that, and hopefully we'll spin your birthday. Somebody's gotta get this. I know for a fact you guys are all sitting there going, oh my god, I have the birthday, just not the year, uh-huh. Or whatever. Somebody's gotta end up matching this thing. I know we made it a little bit tougher on you when we brought back the birthday wheel. We didn't make it as easy as the old days where it was like, you know, your day and your month. We said, no, we're gonna we're gonna put this in and and make the year in there. Well, somebody at some point's gonna get a hell of a payday.

SPEAKER_00

Right. And and we know that there are so many of you listening, all two of you.

SPEAKER_01

We know that Well, I mean, maybe three, because I got one, but they're not registered. They're listed as a guest on the app when I read their message in a minute.

SPEAKER_00

Okay, read it.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, it says, uh, good everyone. Good everyone. Uh, they said uh tonight is uh uh uh night four of the Troy Fair. Hey, first of all, before I read the rest of this message, at least tonight's your dry night.

SPEAKER_00

Mm-hmm.

SPEAKER_01

Thank God. Uh they're volunteering tonight for the Dolls of Destruction women's roller derby.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, awesome!

SPEAKER_01

They said, God have mercy on me.

SPEAKER_00

Tell the girls I said hi. Wait, are they actually roller derbying tonight? If so, what a cool little addition to the Troy Fair.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, I think they would be. I mean That's awesome.

SPEAKER_00

I didn't know that they were doing that at the actual.

SPEAKER_01

I didn't know either, but that's pretty cool.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, I I knew I was gonna see somebody get beat up at the Troy Friday.

SPEAKER_01

I'm kidding. Now, if you really want to make it exciting, put them in the demo derby on the rollerblades, too. Let them really go out there and just hip check the cars and all that. Yeah, you know? All right, moving on from that, I have to tell you. If at some point, I just want to let you know in advance, and then I have a question for you, but I want to let you know in advance. If at some point I come in and tell you a story, I arrived home to the puppies cooking me dinner. I don't want you to be surprised. Oh no. Yesterday, I didn't have to get up quite as early as normal yesterday. So Tiffany was up, and uh all of a sudden And did you make her coffee? No, I was not out of bed yet. So she comes into the bedroom, all the puppies come barreling in after. Well, Frank likes to play ball. He will play ball until your arm falls off. And he's a good ball player. He's the kind of dog brings it back, drops it right for you until the point you're like, are we done yet? You have to go enough. But Frank is also terrible at losing balls underneath the uh baseboard heating. So you hear I don't even know if I can c recreate the sound, but you hear this like scratching, and of course it's a baseboard and it's metal, so it sounds like it's it's this loud, you know. He's really yeah, he's like louder, you know. It's just so anyway. You get the point. So anyway, uh yesterday Petey was trying to help uh find Frank's ball. Oh frutters. We have a floor lamp in the uh bedroom, which you know, the the switch on and off is on the floor. Yep. I'll be damned if Petey didn't turn on the light himself, help find the ball, and then turn the light off. So if I come home but he brushed his teeth and tucked himself into bed. Honest to God, if I come in one day and say the laundry was folded by the pugs and they made me dinner, do you know what? Don't be surprised.

SPEAKER_00

I think it's always so funny because my best friend has always had really big dogs. See, Junior can never do this, but my my best friend's dogs have been able to open the back door and they literally let themselves outside. Hey, dad, I'll be right back. I have to use the raster.

SPEAKER_01

These guys know how to open the kids' doors because I've got those like flat handles, not the knobs. Yeah, yeah, yeah. These guys, Petey and Frank specifically know how to open Gavin and Lydia's doors. Jump up? Yeah, oh yeah, they just jump up, click it down, and then they'll go in and lay with her.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, reading her a bedtime story. Pretty much.

SPEAKER_01

I'm like, just don't pee in there, idiots.

SPEAKER_00

Brushing her hair. I'm not even kidding. Speaking of dogs, guess what? Junior is taking a sabbatical. He's staying with Grandma Gail for an entire month.

SPEAKER_01

Wait, whoa. This is not that.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, this is gonna be kind of that.

SPEAKER_01

This is gonna be bad.

SPEAKER_00

It's not gonna Which part which part is gonna be bad?

SPEAKER_01

What if he goes while he's with her?

SPEAKER_00

Do not even say that. But do you want to do you know what I said to my mom? I said, if you've already prepared for this. I well, I said, if something happens or he gets sick, you have to contact me right away and let me know. Basically, I'm going to Cleveland today, dropping him off. I'm going to a festival, and then from there, I mean, I'll be home a little bit, but yes, like you said, we're going to a conference. And I looked at my schedule every single month or every single weekend in August, we're doing something.

SPEAKER_01

Yes.

SPEAKER_00

And my mom just had surgery. She's, you know, you kind of like, I can't really do much except for like hang around the house.

SPEAKER_01

Neither can junior.

SPEAKER_00

So, right. And so I said, Well, would you like some company for a month? Would Grandma Gill would you like to take care of him? I would love that. Yes. But I first of all, you know I'm gonna miss him.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, yeah. But I would more than you know once he passes. Oh my gosh. Anybody else want to lay wagers on this? Do not say that. I'm not trying to be cruel to you. No, that's- Animals do this. You know that when they're not well with their with their primary people.

SPEAKER_00

He's not even close to passing. Does he have a smoker's cough? Yes.

SPEAKER_01

He's not close to passing. The dog's up more at night than I don't know, somebody that works in overnight.

SPEAKER_00

Well, that's why that's why I said I'm gonna sleep so good in the month of August. Because I will actually sleep through the night. Nobody will.

SPEAKER_01

So your phone rings at three o'clock in the morning and be like, No. The Roomba bumped into him, and unfortunately, he didn't move. I have created so many scenarios. Oh my god! Surviving poor junior death. I really do like your dog. This is not like trying to be cruel. Sounds like it. I find great humor in the different scenarios of how he's found.

SPEAKER_00

I need to be with him.

SPEAKER_01

Because if I end up beating right on one, I'm gonna feel so bad.

SPEAKER_00

I need to be with him when he goes. I've decided.

SPEAKER_01

He didn't move.

SPEAKER_00

I've decided I have to be with him when he goes.

SPEAKER_01

I cannot sending him away for a month was not the right move. It it's the longest I've ever sent him away. Yeah, well, no, it'll be longer once he's gone. Stop it.
