Okay, we've been not deliberately putting this off just trying to get caught up on certain things because with Allie and I having been in Cleveland the latter part of last week, a lot happened in our world. Uh, and we're we're trying to get as much to you guys as we can. I think this will be the last part we we are into with your parents' house and with everything around it, but I've had multiple texts from people wanting to know how did the greeting go, uh, the meetup with Zach. This is the first time he's met your parents in person. This is true, yeah. Yeah, now I will tell you this. I hope it went as well as the greeting I got from your dad. Because not only did he you were in the shower at three in the afternoon trying to get ready because you didn't have all day. I was busy. Do you know your dad brought me into the house and gave me a beautiful big man hug? Oh, I fully expect it. Mom didn't get off the couch, but she just had back surgery. Just asked her if she'll tell you.
SPEAKER_01I I no, I don't think Zach got the man hug.
SPEAKER_00Oh, it was gorgeous.
SPEAKER_01Wait, he didn't get the man hug at the beginning. Here's what happened. He did get a man hug, but I'll tell you how it came about. So he walks in the house, and the first thing my dad says, my dad's on a GLP one and he's lost a lot of weight. And he also got thrush recently as well, so he lost even more weight. Jeez. And I said to my dad, Oh my gosh, you're so skinny. So he hasn't met Zach before at all. And he goes, Yeah, I've been pooping it all out.
unknownI love your dad.
SPEAKER_01And then they he gives Zach the tour, and everything is fine. My parents are very he said Zach said, I wasn't expecting your dad to be the one-liner king. Oh, he's good. He is, he's very, he's a very jovial, humorous guy. But um the one thing that came out after they had met, because he got the tour, and then we all sat and had ch We broke bread over Chipotle. Oh, you did?
SPEAKER_00Yes, we just got some cyclospora while you were at it, because in Ohio that's one of the affected states.
SPEAKER_01Right. And then we ended up just only staying there for a little over an hour, and then me and Zach went forward to the festival that we were going to. We were going to this rockabilly festival. So my parents sent a text right after we left, and they said, Wow, he is the most personable of all of your boyfriends that you've ever had. Yes. They really thought that he was just, and my dad said he just smiled the whole time.
SPEAKER_00Well, that is Zach. I mean, yeah.
SPEAKER_01Yes, yes. And they're kind of a goober. They really he is kind of a goober.
SPEAKER_00I never knew that in a bad way. That is meant really more as a compliment, but he's kind of a goober.
SPEAKER_01Right. I never really had thought about that. But uh, there's one other thing. So Zach brought me back to Cleveland and dropped me off my parents' house. Then he had to go.
SPEAKER_00Oh, he didn't make you walk from Toledo. That's awful nice of him. Maybe you should keep him.
SPEAKER_01Right. I know, I'll try. So he he brought me back to my parents, dropped me off. So then I was staying at my parents' house for a few days until Scott was coming to pick me up for our conference.
SPEAKER_00At three in the afternoon when she could have showered much earlier in the day. Well, my god. All right, sorry.
SPEAKER_01So at that point when we're unpacking the car and all that stuff, my my dad said, I gave Zach a man hug.
SPEAKER_00Oh, that's sweet.
SPEAKER_01Isn't that sweet? I got two, one when I got there, one when I left.
SPEAKER_00Your mom didn't get off the couch, but then again, she has an excuse this time. I think she would have hugged.
SPEAKER_01Yes, I think so. But oh I oh, she can't hug people right now, actually. Oh, really? Yeah, you when you have back surgery, you can't hug people.
SPEAKER_00They can't have any like God sign me up for back surgery. Jeez.
