I was just peeking ahead here. Uh Thursday looks like we should be really good for the uh farmers market out in Corning. It looks like later, later in the day, there's only a 30% chance of rain. I think the rest of it's gonna be fine. So you and I are heading out live. You've been out to the farmer's market a couple times. You actually did some uh video out there. Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Follow Scott and Alley on TikTok.
SPEAKER_01I uh I haven't been since I think it was a year ago I was there.
SPEAKER_00Oh my god, I love it. It's it's so funny. It's to the point where now, because and and all of you come out to the farmer's market because now once I went at the beginning of the season, I am addicted to it. And there's two things. I now have a woman who I order sourdough from every single week. That's awesome. And then, yep. And then uh Zach and I went for lunch, and this is what I love too. It was a quick lunch. He only gets an hour. We typically don't take lunch, but it was uh an afternoon that I think you were gone. So I said, Yeah, I'll meet you out there. So we met out there. We had the the Amish guys do the chicken barbecue.
SPEAKER_01Oh, you had mentioned this is amazing.
SPEAKER_00So good. So it's a great time to grab lunch. There's always entertainment in Centerway Square, and then you can stock up on produce. I know that at this point I am now full speed ahead on tomato season. So I will be eating BLTs every single breakfast, lunch, and dinner from now until the end of summer.
SPEAKER_01We're at the point now where stuff's really starting to come in. Oh, it is. I mean, in the first couple weeks of the farmer's market, it's like shard. Yeah, yeah, that and honey. Yeah, yeah. Now it's like everything.
SPEAKER_00Beets, there's strawberries, there's raspberries, yeah, for sure. There's all of that. So we'll see you then. Uh I thought this was a thing of the past now, the farmer's almanac. Because you were just saying how like how beautiful it's gonna be on Thursday. Yeah, it should be pretty good. The farmer's almanac will predict like a big season event, and I thought it was gone, and then all of a sudden it gets released that they're predicting a winter season with major regional differences. What does it mean for us? It looks like that we are going to have on because we're like we're East Coast, but we're a little bit in. Yeah, heavy, wet snow is gonna be what we're gonna get this winter time. Will we really? I think the farmer's almanac is actually ridiculously accurate, and I'm not somebody who gets like really into weather.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_00But oh, which by the way, Zach Zach's like, I'm not letting you influence me anymore because we went to this rockabilly festival last weekend, and he had his list of everything we needed to bring. You know, you've got to have our coolers, our toothbrush, you know, all the stuff. And he had umbrella on there, and I was like, nah, nah, nah, we don't need it. We got, I mean, decimated with rain. And he's like, I'm not listening to you anymore.
SPEAKER_01Because you didn't pay any attention to the weather. Yeah. And he's like, and he's the second massive fail. And the other massive fail will be talked about in the podcast today. So nice work. You really dropped the ball multiple times this uh this past week.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, he's like, I'm not letting you influence me on whether to bring a raincoat, an umbrella, or to check the weather.
SPEAKER_01Or just be mentally prepared for what's to come.
SPEAKER_00That's what he says.
SPEAKER_01I I understand, like, you know, you're gonna get up. If you're going into an office, you could care less if it's gonna rain or not. You know, you're gonna be.
SPEAKER_00What's the point of even ever wearing a tank top? Like, I have to wear a winter coat usually all year long. Sure. The AC is cranked up in this building.
SPEAKER_01Well, but in reality, if you're inside, I can understand you caring a little bit less about it. Uh I mean, unless you have plans or something like that. You guys literally, how many days were you outside?
SPEAKER_00Uh, we were outside three days. For the festival, three days.
SPEAKER_01And you did not at any point say, ooh, this could be kind of uh uh tricky on Saturday.
SPEAKER_00Okay, so I didn't, but that's where he, I think he might have looked and thought, okay, we'll be all right. But I it's just that we didn't pack anything for it. Well, no, I lied. He packed a raincoat. Yeah. I used it.
SPEAKER_01Because he did what normal people do, which is like I'm going somewhere and I'd like to know what it's gonna be. It's like, I mean, are you gonna schedule uh well, you can't really do it if you're I was gonna say if you're gonna schedule a vacation in hurricane season, I mean, you might be able to get around it. But at something like this, look at the damn weather.
SPEAKER_00I know, I refuse to, but I guess I won't do that anymore. He's right. Also, I love that there's this is two things, uh, two stories that I got sent while I was away last week. The one was the steakhouse in Florida that is going to be serving a nude dinner. So the people who are working at the steakhouse, they wear clothes. The people who are attending get to be naked, and it's about $150 to $300 per person. And they say it's for the experience of it all.
SPEAKER_01You said it was in Florida, though. There's gonna be a lot a lot of wrinkles on that steak.
SPEAKER_00Oh, I know. I just love that, like you guys know that I'm like I'm the I'm the naked one of the show. And where do you tuck in your nap? Where do you tuck in your napkin?
SPEAKER_01You don't have a shirt on to be able to Well no, you just put the napkin over your lap like you would at any Oh that's not very naked. What if I want to see some tuna while I'm eating steak, surfing turf? What? What huh?
