You got a chance for a thunderstorm later today before we get a break from this for a day. Then we're back into it for a little bit. Then the weekend Friday, Saturday looks great. So that's just hang in there for that. Maybe later today a little bit of a thunderstorm. Don't forget on Friday, 730, you keep telling everybody, set your alarm on your phone, 725, so you don't miss it. There's over a thousand dollars waiting for someone to win.

SPEAKER_01

$1,166 with the birthday wheel. When we spin it at 7 30 on Fridays, Fridays only, then you have to get the day, the month, and the year. If we spin all three of those and we match with you, you call us back within 10 minutes and six seconds to claim the $1,166. If you don't roll it over, like we've been doing for how many weeks now, which is why we're over $1,000. But you know, figure the Powerball. We keep talking about like, oh, the Powerball is up to this.

SPEAKER_02

Somebody's gonna win it eventually.

SPEAKER_01

Well, even yesterday, Zach had a scratch off because we were at a baby shower on Sunday. And so he, of course, he got all stoked. Sonia had said, Oh, you guys won, or he won. I didn't win anything. You know, you guys won one of the baby shower games. Here's uh a little scratch off. So, oh, wouldn't it be great? Of course, we're talking about scratch that off. If you win money, what are you gonna spend it on? Da-da-da-da-da. I mean, it's the thing we all say, but with a thousand over a thousand dollars, you could do a little damage.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, you're doing pretty good with that. Thank you to Hasselsons, by the way, for sponsoring the birthday wheel. Nobody likes to learn a lesson, especially the hard way. I mean, sometimes you learn a lesson, you actually feel good about it, like, I learned how to sand floors. That's pretty good. That's a great lesson. That's a great lesson. I mean, if I could find time to do it, yeah, sure, that'd be a nice side hustle if it wasn't exhausting. But then there's the other lessons you learn, like this guy.

SPEAKER_00

The person I was on a date with said something about like she has she had lost something. And uh my immediate response was, I lost something once. And um she didn't think it was funny. Yeah, yeah, there wasn't a second date.

SPEAKER_02

Maybe not a SpongeBob impression on the first date.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, is that what that was?

SPEAKER_02

It was a really good one, too.

SPEAKER_01

Um, is that something that you've done with Tiffany on your first date where you're like, let me just pull out my Bill Clinton?

SPEAKER_02

I don't recall. In a related story, I ought to not have sexual relations at that moment.

SPEAKER_01

And then she's like, sign me up for date two. Yeah, right. Yes.

SPEAKER_02

That's exactly what it was.

SPEAKER_01

Did you do your uh Homer Simpson?

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, that's that's what I did. Oh, I chucked. Well, this is going really great places. Can't you see? Yeah, that's that's excellent.

SPEAKER_01

Um, on my vacation, we were sitting in a diner and they had something that I don't know if anybody has this anymore. Placemats.

SPEAKER_02

You mean the paper ones, like when you're at a restaurant, or are you talking like the actual placemats that people put down in their homes? Well, this was a little thicker, you know.

SPEAKER_01

This is a mishmash woven, if you will. So I had one that had all of the different businesses. It would be like Chuck's tractors, you know, will they?

SPEAKER_02

They're in Mansfield still at that diner.

SPEAKER_01

That's where you'll find it. Exactly. The table next to me.

SPEAKER_02

I think we printed them as a company.

SPEAKER_01

Probably. The table next to me had the the plastic ones. Who uses a placemat anymore? Well, uh, are you talking at home or at a restaurant? At home. I've not had a placemat. Oh, I have a placemat once a year. Christmas time, I have these red and gold ones, and then I even I'll set the whole little napkin situation up. But other than that, who uses placemats? I'm not gonna lie.

SPEAKER_02

We we have quite a few. I mean, I know this is a shocker. Tiffany has one for every day of the year.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, so you guys always have them set up for like what's the holiday now?

SPEAKER_02

Well, uh it might be summertime, and maybe it's uh fireworks. Fireworks, American flags. Could be. Uh St. Patrick's Day, you probably have that. I'm not gonna lie. I like a placemat. I do not like a placemat. I like a place. I like we're not talking the restaurant paper ones that you know, you know, are like you know, Joe's funeral home.

SPEAKER_01

You're talking like it's when you're choked to death here at the diner.

SPEAKER_02

Make sure to call Joe's funeral home.

SPEAKER_01

Um I'm talking like the cloth rectangles.

SPEAKER_02

I like them. I like a placemat. There's something really nice about it to me, it's the finished kitchen look. Ah, and I just think a waste of space? Yes. And and more to wash.

SPEAKER_01

Yes.

SPEAKER_02

I understand.

SPEAKER_01

It's something I just don't want to deal with. And then where do you store them? It's just more cool.

SPEAKER_02

Well, I we got bins of them. How many of course you're bins upon bins.

SPEAKER_01

You're like, oh, it's a new one.

SPEAKER_02

They're right next to the 872 welcome mats for every day of the year.

SPEAKER_01

When you guys wash your sheets on Sundays, because that's usually the day to wash your sheets. When you wash your sheets on Sunday, do you throw the placemats in there?

SPEAKER_02

No, I don't have time for the sheets. I have to do just the placemats.

SPEAKER_01

Because there's so many.

SPEAKER_02

No, I really do like a placemat. I'm not gonna lie. I think it's nice. Even just a plain one, or you know, non-holiday related, I think it finishes the kitchen look.

SPEAKER_01

Don't you find it to be just an extra thing to clean, though?

SPEAKER_02

Well, yeah, if you got sloppy kids, you've got to just shake it out over the sink and put it right back down. Oh couple crumbs from the BLT.

SPEAKER_01

I still feel like, especially I've seen Lydia eat.

SPEAKER_02

Oh, no, no, no. That's gotta go through the laundry on the heavy duty setting.

SPEAKER_01

Yes, exactly. That's that's like ketchup central.

SPEAKER_02

That girl can't find her mouth. Everything else, yes, it goes everywhere.

SPEAKER_01

Me either, which is probably why I should have a placemat. And a bib. And a bib. And an Amazon.

SPEAKER_02

You need a full smock.

SPEAKER_01

Can I get a trash bag that I can just put my head through?

SPEAKER_02

Just cut a hole in it and be like, I'm ready to eat. Way better than that. I really do like the finished look. Not at a restaurant with the paper ones. That's just, I mean, that's different. I'm talking at home. I think it's a nice finished look for a kitchen or a dining room or even even my island, my giant island, love a placemat.

SPEAKER_01

Placemats to me say grandma's house.

SPEAKER_02

Well, you have the wrong placemats. That's no, you know what says grandma's house is that like vinyl tablecloth that would send that's grandma's house.

SPEAKER_01

That she always put the money underneath.

SPEAKER_02

Yes, that's grand. It's kind of furry under there. Yeah, oh yeah, yeah, yeah. How do you get a furry tablecloth? Anywho, are you a placemat house or no? I say it finishes the kitchen. I think it's a nice look.

SPEAKER_01

I say it's grandma-like. Okay.
