Who eats ice cream this early?

It's the middle of the week, but it's not moving quick enough, I'm sorry to say.
SPEAKER_01Well, especially when yester or last week we had a broken week. Yes. So that that kind of makes that that, but I am getting such good sleep. It's amazing. I went home yesterday and originally Zach and I were gonna watch this Netflix comedy special we both wanted to watch.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Within five minutes, I was out. He took a picture of me sleeping. He goes, You didn't even make it five minutes.
SPEAKER_00Everybody does this to you. I swear, this is your curse in life is you're gonna have pictures taken of you sleeping. I hate that. Oh, I think it's hilarious. I love it. You're funny with it. When somebody does it. Am I always hysterical? Is that what it is? Well, yeah, even when you're sleeping. I know. What do you mean funny with it? Well, because your mouth is always hanging open, you'll fall asleep at all the most bizarre places. You know, I mean, honestly, you're the person that could fall asleep standing up doing dishes.
SPEAKER_01Oh, I could easily. And then last night, so I wasn't sure if I'd be able to go back to sleep because I'm not a napper. And we went to bed probably like nine-ish. And I went to sleep pretty quick pretty quickly. I mean, I did like look at Instagram and stuff a little bit, but I slept all through the night. Not having my dog here for a month is glorious for my sleep schedule. The poor boy. I can't no, don't even say. Oh, yeah, that's true.
SPEAKER_00He's he's getting spoiled along.
SPEAKER_01He's getting super spoiled, but and so am I. My sleep schedule's awesome.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, right.
SPEAKER_01I love it. I feel so revived.
SPEAKER_00So now, is your mom sleeping? Has she gotten Junior on the right course where uh, you know, he's staying asleep at night? Because your mom said she wasn't gonna handle that. She's like, I'm not gonna deal with that. No, no, you go back to sleep.
SPEAKER_01He's being such a good boy for her.
SPEAKER_00Oh, God.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. So but she does have something. I think things are gonna change as soon as he gets home at the end of August because he does not sleep in their bed with them because of my mom's back surgery, she can't lift him. Yeah. And my dad won't. Because Junior is so old that he has like all these little bumps and tumors and stuff on him. Oh. Yes. So my dad's like, I I just won't do it.
SPEAKER_00I just can't touch that.
SPEAKER_01Yes, exactly. And he also has this really old man cough. So when you pick him up your dad or junior?
SPEAKER_00Junior. Oh, got it.
SPEAKER_01So when you pick him up, he's like, and my dad can't handle it.
SPEAKER_00He's bumps and coughs and all that.
SPEAKER_01It's like bra. Every typical 90-year-old man. Because my dad won't pick him up, so junior doesn't get to sleep in the bed with them. He sleeps next to them. But my mom also puts like a little water bowl next to him. Yeah. So he wakes up in the middle of the night. She says, usually she has to pee three times anyway.
SPEAKER_00Well, there's that. But she Her prostate's getting a little out of whack, isn't it?
SPEAKER_01Yes. But she says he'll just get up, he'll take his drinks, and he'll go right back to bed. So I think once he gets home, he won't be in the bed with me anymore.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, maybe it's time to change that. Yes, yes.
SPEAKER_01Unfortunately, that's just comes with age, but man, I'm sleeping so good.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, well, take advantage of it while you can. Get caught up. Man, it is comfortable right now. It's like 58. It's night. You might have fog.
SPEAKER_01We opened the window last night.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, it's uh it's real, real nice. Uh, and we're gonna stay pretty good. 85 today, 83 tomorrow, 81. Actually, we're in a good spell. We I don't think we're really gonna get caught up in a big rain event until Sunday late.
SPEAKER_01Okay, that's that's awesome because I do have big plans. So yesterday, I have to tell you what I saw on the way to work, or not on the way to work, on the way to a meeting. So we were meeting with Tag about something that you know, we're always doing something with Tag, right? Oh, right. So we were meeting with Tags. So I'm leaving and the meeting starts at 11. Yeah. As soon as I I drive down the Miracle Mile, I see this lady at is that Big Top Ice Cream Store or something?
SPEAKER_00Well, the one I think Tag has his own ice cream shop.
SPEAKER_01No, no, no. This is right on the Miracle Mile. Oh, okay Is it called Big Top?
SPEAKER_00I don't know. The one down the road here, like you're going by the gold store.
SPEAKER_01Yes.
SPEAKER_00Okay.
SPEAKER_01I see this lady pull out and she's just mowing on this ice cream at 10.45 in the morning.
SPEAKER_00Oh, wow, that's dedication to ice cream.
SPEAKER_01It's so early. I asked Zach last night, have you ever ate ice cream at 11 o'clock in the morning? He goes, Gotcha beat. We used to eat ice cream at 8 a.m. Why would you? Wow, for breakfast? Well, he he said back in college, they would be a little hungover. Oh, the thing that'll cure a hangover is a milkshake. We would go to this gas station.
SPEAKER_00That was the first thing I would reach for. I mean, thinking back in my younger years. That's what I said. I'd be reaching for the alarm saying, no, I'm not getting up yet.
SPEAKER_01There used to be this gas station placement. It was very similar to uh Arbor and Dairy. It was called UDF, United Dairy Farmers.
SPEAKER_00Oh, thanks.
SPEAKER_01And you UDF would have their own ice cream. Yeah and he he said it was the best milkshake at 8 a.m. in the morning. Oh my god, 8 a.m. I I have a rule. I don't drink after lunch? Right. I don't drink alcohol till after lunch, and I don't eat ice cream till after lunch either. Actually, I really don't eat ice cream until at least 3 o'clock. That should be my new rule.
SPEAKER_00So the old expression, it's noon somewhere. Nope. I'm sorry. That expression's for someone with a problem. It's 5 o'clock somewhere.
SPEAKER_01I just said I'll wait at least wait till after lunch. Especially on a weekend. If I'm up on Seneca Lake and it's one o'clock and we do a wine tasting, I'm like, well, at least it's past noon.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, right? All right. I gotta ask this. It does seem a little weird. 10 45 in the morning going for the ice cream. I mean, if you got it, if you got an itch, maybe she was pregnant. I don't know.
SPEAKER_01Um, she was old.
unknownOkay.
SPEAKER_01I can clearly see she had white hair.
SPEAKER_00She was wow. You gotta get it in before you drop.
SPEAKER_01Probably, you know, it's probably her dinner. She's been up since 3 a.m. Oh, that's right. Had breakfast.
SPEAKER_00She's already had a fish fry. Time for the ice cream.
SPEAKER_01Oh my god.
